Scheduled an appointment for 7:30 the lady on the phone had the audacity to say that if I plan not to show up to call ahead of time. Our technician didn t show up named Sylvia and now we are already 15 minutes past check in time and no one has assisted us. There s one car in front and no employees around. Now 20 minutes passed and no one in sight just the employee who marks the car and drives them. Not a single helpful employee just the only caring Mexican guy trying to get someone s attention for us

What a joke! They had 8 cars waiting to get checked in. I sat there for 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. They hadn t checked anyone in yet. Meanwhile they had 3 people at their desks appearing oblivious to what was going on. When I asked why they didn t have anyone checking people in they ignored me!!!! I asked why they were ignoring me then finally got a response from one of them say well be right with you sir . I said no thanks and left. There was a dark haired girl who was actually working and helping people who were picking their cars up. Props to her and would be nice if she got some support. A beautiful new service department is useless if you can t staff it right. I will be going elsewhere moving forward.

Honda of Keyes is now Honda Van Nuys. Same great service with a major building facelift. Good service center team and excellent maintenance results since my first visit 2017.

They kept the key they removed from my glovebox that remove the lug nut on my tires. Now few months later needed to remove a tire and couldn t because they didn t put it back in the car after using it. So now I can buy a new set for $75 and wait for them to put on. Or pay $35 and wait 10 business days. Meaning now I can t take off any of my tires until I get a key from honda. If you need car service use another place or take your key out of the car before having them service your car. BTW honda takes no responsibility like me a 66 year old is going remove my tires and honda is the only place my honda has been service since we got the car in 2019. No one has ever worked on my car except honda now on Oxnard before Sepulveda for years. They lost a customer someone who only went there! since 2019 will not get my car service there again. My key was in black zip bag in my glovebox and now it s gone. So now I am gone. Bye bye honda.

If I could, I would give this place a zero stars. I had an absolute awful experience with the service center and a white lady who was useless and frankly, very rude. She was no help, unprofessional, misinformed, and didn t care to help with my situation at all. She changed her story numerous times and made no effort to amend the situation.I had an appointment at 10am and when I arrived I showed them my due bill which states I had an appointment and on paper the service that was to be fulfilled. When I showed the BIG white lady with blond hair the paper, she very rudely told me that the person who is supposed to fix the vehicle had called off and that they cannot provide the service despite me being promised it would be fixed today (as I had an appointment). She brushed off the appointment and explained that I would have to comeback tomorrow since there was nothing she could do and was not empathic at all that I had to drive 100+ miles. I don t understand why I was not informed prior to the appointment that the person that had made the appointment with me had called off as it could have saved me so much time, gas, and this entire experience.The way the situation was handled was very poor. I don t appreciate how the lady kept knocking quite hard on the car, kept dismissing my concerns and didn t apologize for the inconvenience once. She lied and said she has spoken to the manager which was not the case as I had to go inside the dealership to get this all resolved. I explained to the actual manager the situation and while it didn t solve the problem it offered a solution and I will be getting the service I was promised. I wish I had gotten her name so I could have made an actual complaint to the management because someone like her should not be representing the company.I never write reviews but this situation was infuriating and I ve never come across customer service this bad. Don t come to this location for your service and if you see a white old lady with blond hair, run.

Jeremiah truly lived up to the "Helpful" reputation of Honda. He communicated well, got the repairs done quickly and scheduled me courtesy Lyfts to and from my home.

I made an appointment online a day before and went here for general repairs & maintenance check as my engine oil was low and also wanted to make sure my tires were ok. Tony helped me out and I appreciated his professionalism as well as great customer service. He told me it will take around 2 hours and I ended up waiting for a little over an hour. The waiting area was comfortable and quiet: free coffee/hot chocolate, bottled water, WIFI, TVs, and big desks (which helped me because I brought my laptop and was working while waiting). Thank you Tony for your outstanding service and will be back again if I have any issues with my car!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection

I don t write many reviews but I had one of the most frustrating experiences at this service center. I had an appointment for 8am with Jeremiah Carpenter. I got in line at 7:45am, someone asked if I had an appointment and put a number on my car shortly after I arrived, but I then wasn t talked to for about 30 minutes. I watched employees go to cars behind me to start service. I stopped a couple people to ask them if I should go inside to talk to someone, and they all said to wait in my car and someone would approach me. I watched the worker who ended up being Jeremiah approach a woman behind me around 8am and bring her into his office to help, after which he sat at his desk and ate a bagel. I figured he was on break and not who I was looking for considering my appt time. But around 8:20 I decided to go inside and try to get someone s help. Once I identified myself as his 8am he helped me and everything went fairly quick. I got out around 8:30am, service took a couple hours so not too bad, and pick up was fast afterward. If you make an appt I would recommend choosing someone else.

Service is exceptional. The technicians are professional and quick. I highly recommend taking advantage of the honda programs that are offered when purchasing a new/used vehicle for future maintenance.

I paid $378 for servicing my Honda civic. I use my car a lot for work, which is the reason why I wanted to bring my civic to be serviced by Honda.The same night I brought my civic home from being serviced, my father in law checked the engine coolant reservoir and it was completely empty. However, the multipoint vehicle inspection sheet stated this fluid was checked, and it was topped off. I want to make it very clear, they did not in fact check the reservoir or top off the empty reservoir for engine coolant. This is in fact, a danger for my car, especially because I use my car a lot for work.Because of this incident, there is no way I can recommend this service center, especially if they fail to properly complete such simple tasks, yet important tasks, for the proper functioning of the vehicle (which by the way I pay I premium for the service by Honda).I m greatly disappointed by this experience and I do not recommend this service center.

This place ain t the same anymore. Just make sure you ask for discounts & clear cut price after taxes.**The manager was nice to honor even the expired coupon & that is why I am giving 3 stars. Otherwise I just wanted to give them no star.** I wasn t satisfied with my service advisor *Jeremiah Carpenter*, he needs to be respectful and customer friendly. Don t buy into battery replacements, tire changes or changing brakes just because they tellyou. Have a 2nd opinion from other providers. These people just go by numbers. Dirty Lounges, filthy bathroom, broken coffee machine, no water bottles No uber or lyft pick ups arranged by Keys

Jeremiah Carpenter is the worst service adviser at this location. If you can work with ANYONE ELSE, I would suggest it. He will lie to your face and sign off on paperwork when no work was physically done to your vehicle. If he s ever been your service adviser especially if you are a person of color, please get it checked at another Honda dealership.I came here back in July 2023 to service an emissions recall. Jeremiah Carpenter himself gave me signed documents to take to the DMV saying the recall was taken care of. Two months later, I come into the same service center only to find out the recall was never serviced and Jeremiah, who was working on the day in question, dodged me the entire visit. Wouldn t even apologize for his carelessness. If you can go to a different dealership, I would highly recommend it. This place is sus and clearly they will make you wait 3 hours & sign off on work that they did not do just to get you out of the way.

I went to do an oil change. So far so good. Crew is nice, prices are same as every other dealership unless you ask for a discount...Update:They moved!Now their new location is on the corner of Van Nuys and Oxnard

ONLY make an appointment here if want to drive all the way to the location for them to tell you to come back during the week at 7:30 AM when you have better things to do, like work. Scheduled my appointment a week in advance specifically on the weekend and they turned me away. The only reason I have to bring it in is because there is a recall on some sort of element that makes the AC not function properly and I ve been having issues in this crazy heat wave in the San Fernando Valley. Double inconvenienced by them and on top of it they don t even offer a rental car even though they re going keep it for three days (maybe more, they don t know) and it s not even my fault that it needs this. I can t wait to get my Toyota Tacoma and be done with Honda.

All service centers can be time consuming and somewhat frustrating when having to deal with any type of service. What keeps the customer coming back and feeling comfortable with service center are the service specialists and how they treat you overall. I use to bring all 4 of my cars (purchased from keyes honda) to Miguel from this service center. Ive been a long time customer of keyes honda since 2012. This service center is by no means the closest to me but it was the one that I felt I trusted so the long distance and wait time was all worth it. However recently that opinion has changed. Miguel has not been there so I have had to settle for another service specialist by the name of Silvia Illman. During the explanation of the services being done she made me feel belittled whenever I had simple questions to ask regarding the services. She also tried upselling some services that where not required. Then if you refuse to purchase the services she gets upset and begins to throw indirect comments such as calling me a bad service customer. Her attitude and demeanor do not make you feel like a appreciated customer instead it rubs off like as if she thinks you need her as if there aren t countless service centers all over and many of which are closer to me as well. When I left the front desk I tried asking another person to get the service manager and I was told he was not there. Yet no one bothered to ask me why I wanted to talk to the manager either, even tho I was visibly frustrated and upset. That spoke loudly how customer service isn t a priority here. Because of the way this service rep Silvia Illman made me feel when walking out of here , I will no longer be servicing any of my vehicles at keyes honda service center nor will I be buying any more vehicles at keyes Honda dealership either. I am a firm believer in a brand being represented by there employees and keyes honda failed incredibly at representing honda s customer service. My 2009 Honda civic was having transmission problems and the clutch was sticking. I decided to take it in to get looked at, and if the transmission needed to be fixed I was going to put that money towards a down payment on a new car. Anyway, I take my car to Van Nuys asking them to look at the transmission and I mentioned the gears were sticking. The mechanic looked at the car and told me the clutch needed to be replaced. I asked what about the transmission and the mechanic said it was in good condition. So I decide to get the clutch replaced and $5000 later I get my car back. The guy says, oh and there s something wrong with the transmission, but we fixed the clutch. I m furious because I specifically asked about the transmission and they decided to tell me the truth after I payed for the clutch, I decide to let it go because the guy was right and I did mention that the gear was sticking. Two months later a bearing from the transmission gets stuck in my speed sensor. I m warning you guys, Van Nuys is not afraid to lie to your face to make a quick buck. I had to learn this lesson the hard way. Don t trust what they say here, get a second opinion from someone you know who genuinely wants to help.

Don't use Keyes for anything. Their salespeople are untrustworthy and rude. Their service center is completely unreliable. Seems to me the entire Keyes franchise is broken from the top down, and I'll go 45 minutes out of the way before I use them again.My car was stolen and several parts ripped out of it. Being an official Honda Service Center, I had the car towed here. I did not hear from Keyes until two weeks later when they asked when I was bringing my car in for maintenance. Of course, my car was already there.I don't want to get into it too deeply because this entire experience has been awful, but it's now over a month and a half later and I still don't have my car. My insurance company has repeatedly informed me that they are simply not responsive.Despite being an actual Honda center, they seem to be unable to get the parts that other garages have had no problem getting.And now? they found that they missed something and it's going to take a few more weeks! I need my car for work and to be a father, and I've been out of my insured car rental for three weeks now. And there is no end in sight.UPDATE: I m now far enough from the horrid experience to add to this. My car was returned just barely before Xmas/winter break/holidays. They had it for two-and-a-half months.AND They didn t even fix everything. The floor mats were stolen and not replaced. There was external damage not fixed.I am a single dad. I needed the car back to get my kid to sports and school (and myself to and from work) so I accepted it with the damage. I may be on the hook to fix it before I return it to New Century Honda where I initially leased it after having just a wretched and disrespectful experience at the Keyes Honda dealership, which is just a mile or so from my home.I m not sure what further action I ll take but these people are scam artists, perhaps criminally so.The American Honda Motor Company should know about the damage this franchise is doing to their brand (and I ll make sure they do). I have been a lifelong Honda driver and I might end that because of my experience with Keyes.AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

I have had a variety of experiences while going here the past 8 years but my recent visit has been the most memorable to the point where I am writing this review. Tony is wonderful. He went above and beyond. He followed up with me when he said he would, he personally showed me the items that needed repair and explained why. If he couldn t show me on my car, he showed me on the computer. He added more coolant for me when he didn t have to so I can get around until I came back in a few days for diagnostics on the leaking items. The company covered an Uber to get to work when I dropped the car off even though it was extremely close to the edge of the mile radius. He waited for me to get back to the center when I was running a little late. He found an alternative fix per request when the other solution was out of my budget.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Incompetence does not begin to describe the service provided here. I've had my car here 10 times in 6 weeks for minor repairs, each time while attempting the repair they either botch it or break something else in the process. Unbelievable (Update - manager and Honda of America got involved, mostly fixing the issues. Unfortunately after not taking statements about something rattling in the door seriously I have found a loose screw or something completely unattached in the door causing a loud metal on metal sound.) I will be taking the car to anywhere but here. Updating to 2 stars for at least trying.

The adviser name Sylvia is very rude to my mother who doesn t know anything about cars. She was making my mother feel like bring her car is unnecessary and waste of time, but guess what! We brought it to a different service center and her car have misfire and it was cover by warranty!

Mr. Carlos Montoya helped me, and his customer service is AMAZING!!! He explained everything to me and made the process so easy!!! He went above and beyond my expectations, especially since i was short on time due to work and motherhood duties. I got my car back earlier than expected, which was AMAZING!!! I will definitely be returning to get my car serviced thanks to Mr.Montoya's excellent customer service.

I had a conversation with a salesman over a couple days and set an appointment to come visit. I had to drive 30 minutes to get there. When I got there, they told me the car has been sold but they have another one for me. This is unethical advertising and marketing. Buyer beware! I would choose another dealership.

I highly recommend everyone to see Mr. Cesar, head of technician in van nuys honda service center for his highly exceptional service provided for my car . Hands up for his excellent customer service, humble personality and knowledgeable. He addressed the issue of my car, explained thoroughly. He went extra mile /beyond his job. Very satisfied during this visit. Thanks also to. Mr Onar for assistance.For the lady manager and lady customer represenraive, i believed they need to enhance more their interpersonsl skills in dealing with client small issue .

Made a prior service appointment 3 weeks in advance. (Still waited 2 hours for an oil change) no shuttle or loaner Available. Waiting area looks like hell. Prior to even my car going in they try to sell you on a million things wrong with your car without looking at it. Well my computer tells me this Lol. Tried to speak to service management. This is my second time I come. The first time it was fast and quick and this time around it's like if the service advisors don't seem to want to help or compromise the customer (myself). I spoke with Robert over the phone and he was able to help me but once I went in person. Robert wasn't there and someone else had to help which he was not helpful at all.
