As usual Gearheads provided outstanding service. When my driver window failed go up or down after having been repaired a few months ago tehy ordered a replacement part.When the part came in they replaced the defective part that day. I sincerely appreciated Israel immediately said there would be no charge. It is great to find a company that fully backs up it's workmanship without trying to charge fees for replacing a part that was defective.I do not normally submit reviews but their attitude forces me to respond to their integrity.A LOYAL CUSTPOMER

This is literally the one of fairest and best repair shops in the valleyI was a mechanic and I know what a bad shop is -This is not one of them.Isreal is a professional and his mechanics are too.My Ford Transit Connect Van is still running real nice on the transmission they installed.Top tier shop.I cant wait (yes I can, please don't break) until I need to use these guys again.

I highly recommend Gearheads! I was stranded on the 405 after my car started to overheat and AAA brought me to this location. After a really stressful few hours, I was grateful for Israel and the rest of Gearheads staff for taking care of my car. Israel (owner) was able to assist me quickly and he was able to explain everything to me in great detail in a professional and clear manner. I also liked that they provided me a text message with a report of the full diagnostic. I appreciate how Israel was clear about pricing and checking in with me before he did anything to my car to ensure I was okay with it. Israel is a top class professional. I've gone to him for various maintenance on my car. Unfortunately, my car has had two major repairs this year. Israel not only gives you competitive and affordable price options which is vital but his craftsmanship is unmatched. He repaired the transmission of my car saved me thousands of dollars on a full replacement and labor as well. Israel and Gearheads crew not only did a great job but were honest, friendly, accommodating and reasonably priced. Had AAA tow our 1997 Toyota Camry there for a fuel system issue and am very happy with the service. We will now take our vehicles to Gearheads for all future work. Thank you Israel and crew!

Israel and staff provided above and beyond servicing the car. I would give Gearheads Transmissions 6 stars if I could! I highly appreciate Israel's kindness and professionalism. His team quickly diagnosed and repaired my Kia's steering column and brake lights. Gearheads saved my a&$!!Israel is a true professional. When my car died on the 101 on a Sunday night, his shop was one of the very few accepting after hours drop offs. Not only did he then fix the issue in about 24 hours, he matched a lower price AND fixed another glitch he found FOR FREE. Update 1/27/23. Still the best mechanic I have ever been to. They are honest, fair, and great at what they do.I highly recommend using gearheads. They rebuilt my transmission and did a great job. I worked with Israel and he was very kind, easy to work with, and offered me solutions for my financial hardships. Everyone I spoke with her was very nice. Very fair and reasonable pricing. They were very honest and transparent about my repair. They have a great estimate and repair reporting system that gives you visual aid about the work they performed. Will be going back for sure.

I had a great experience with them fixing the oil leaks on my car. They gave me a fair estimate upfront and made all the necessary repairs as expected. Israel, the mechanic who worked on my car was both friendly and professional. And the work was completed ahead of schedule as well. Would definitely recommend these guys. I'm going to continue to take my cars to them for all my car repairs in the future.

I just realized I never gave a review of my repairs done back in September 2021. I may need more service and that's when I realized I didn't review they are excellent and worth going to. When you find a good mechanic you gotta stick to one and that's why I'm going back to get some engine work done. I'm expecting the same satisfaction.

When my Honda started having issues, Gearheads was the first place my mom recommended because they've given great service to our family for years whenever a repair emergency arose. They took my car in immediately. Israel personally looked at the engine with me while we discussed the problem. They quickly gotten back to me with a fair quote and straightforward explanation of everything. They immediately ordered the parts and my car was fixed a lot faster than I expected. I will be going to them for any future car troubles.

I had a 2018 brand new Honda Civic with a clutch problem and I called several places but I couldn't find honest and professional auto shop or dealership. I was looking for a mechanic who cares about cars and had a passion for his work. And I found a genuine mechanic and professional auto shop on Victory Blvd. in Van Nuys and the shop is Gearheads. Mr. Israel Villavicencio is the owner of Gearheads. It's always hard to find a truthful and humble auto shop owner in my experience. Israel was concerned about my car and treated me with equality and respect. I felt that he was very honest and knowledgeable about the issues of my car.� He was willing to work with me and find a solution within my budget. Called about an engine overheating and spoke with Israel. He was great! Got me right in and immediately started diagnosing the problem; didn't have to wait longer than 30 minutes for an answer and fix. Great service and customer care! I will be coming back soon for both emergency and scheduled maintenance.

I have a vehicle I was having a hard time smogging, and I took it to Isreal and let him do his thing, instead of telling him what was wrong!!! Finally passed smog. he is honest and easy to talk to I highly recommend this establishment, he has been my choice for 3-4 years now

Drove my car to change the oxygen sensor it was running great I got it back not running. And they couldn't tell me why and had to pay 140$ to tow to another garage.

Excellent service! Couldn t be better! The power steering on my diesel truck left me stranded without breaks 40 miles from home. Israel took my truck in right away, assessed the problem, had the parts ordered and me on my way back home within a couple hours. My bad day just got better. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Brought my car in because it was running rough. I brought it in to replace the coils and for a tune . Job was done Very fast and runs like new now! Not every part was bad yet and he suggested only replacing the ones that the required the manifold to be removed (that was all ready being done). Saving me a Ton of money up front and labor cost down the road. Thanks Again!

My name I'd Don, and I had my CVT system (computerized Variable Transmission)serviced yesterday : (04/26/18).I found the staff to be very knowledgeable and friendly, with fare prices.Not only did they finish the job faster than expected ...they helped me out with a couple of other issues, far and beyond expectations @ no extra charge.Plus game me service information, to heip prolong the life and performance of my car.I'm a fan and new loyal customer!P.S. nice pleasant atmosphere and positive energy.
