The 5 star ratings for Boulevard Auto Repair are well deserved. This is the place I take both of my made-in-Germany cars. They do a full diagnostic check, and are extremely thorough. If you're looking for the best place to repair your car, you can stop looking!!! Boulevard Auto Center in Van Nuys is it!!!I ran over something late at night with my Toyota Prius on the 101 freeway southbound near the 405. It blew out my tire, caused an oil leak, and damaged my suspension & undercarriage from front to rear.My AAA towtruck driver recommended that I take it here because it would be A LOT cheaper than taking it to the Toyota dealer & said they do a GREAT job!!! It was THE BEST car advice I've EVER received!!! My car was towed there after midnight. I dropped my key off in their slot & called Mike the next morning. After corresponding with my insurance company, my car was returned like new!!! I give Boulevard Auto Center the highest recommendation!!!Services: Tires, Steering & suspension replacement

As long as I live in Southern California, I will never go to another mechanic. These guys are a once-in-a-lifetime find!Mike literally came to my rescue when my Fiat broke down because of an issue with the gears/shifter. I won't bore you with the lengthy story, but the bottom line is that he was there when I needed help. He went WAY above and beyond. Like, unbelievably so.In the end, he and Rafael fixed what was wrong and I was back on the road in no time. These guys are as honest, kind, and competent as mechanics come. Mike's actions literally restored my faith in humanity.I can't express how grateful I am to have found Boulevard Auto Center! Seriously. I've been there three times since I first found them and it's just a joy to have mechanics I can completely trust.Having a great mechanic is so crazy important, especially when you live in a city like LA! And these guys aren't just great -- they're exceptional.Mike, you are the absolute best! THANK YOU for being so awesome.Seriously people, don't even bother to look elsewhere. Make Boulevard your spot anytime you need car help. You'll be soooooo glad you did.

My experiences with mechanics have been typical of a "non-car" person. There's been moments where I felt condescended to, overwhelmingly suspicious, and just plain aggravated. That's why, whenever I've come across a great shop, I get very excited about it and I want everyone to go there. It's not easy running a mechanic shop. Cars are so complex these days and there's expensive, specialized equipment. John does such a good job. He doesn't goof around with unnecessary procedures to drive up your bill. He makes sure your car is safe and everything makes sense. The mechanics that work there seem content and the whole place has a pleasant vibe. Women can go here and not feel like everyone thinks they're a complete nudnik. You car will work properly and they'll actually fix the things you ask them to fix. It's a well-run place with no leering, "honeys", or other uncomfortable nonsense.

Needed help with my check engine light when our car died. Towed it in. Vehicle was checked right away. Prices were fair, and the staff super friendly. Vehicle was fixed same day and they got me back on the road for my job. I would highly recommend this auto center! This is how it should be when you bring your vehicle for service and repair. A+ service help!

I have been a customer for over 20 years and have had many cars serviced and repaired there. The owner, John, is a top rate mechanic with impecable honesty. He may not be the lowest price but it is always done correctly and if there is ever a problem it is made right. They stand by their work.

We were in town for a few days and our airbag indicator light came on our 2007 VW Jetta. I found H&H Auto on yelp which had all 5 star reviews (very rare). We brought it by H&H and John spent 15 minutes hooking up his laptop under our dash and printing out the codes for us. He said it was the passenger seat belt assembly and wiring and said he could do it for $200-300. We needed it fixed within 2 days before leaving town...John was very honest with us and said he had one of his mechanics on jury duty and wouldn't be able to fix it for us that quickly. He didn't charge us for his time or work and even gave me the printouts of the codes. I then brought it by the VW dealership across the street, and they said they could fix it within our 2 day window. It would be $125 minimum for them to do the same thing JOhn did in 15 minutes for free, then they would then call me with an estimate. VW fixed our car by the next day for only $539!

Very good, reliable, honest, and fair mechanic shop with reasonable, afordable prices. John is the best...doesn't sell you what you don't need and goes out of his way to assist you in every way
