Varooj is a super cool guy and is an HONEST mechanic. He could have upsold me many times, but instead he told me exactly what I did and didn t need to do. And most of all he has like a sixth sense for cars, he is a master of his profession. I highly highly recommend this place.

I've had all my smogs done here for many years and recommended them to many friends and family, all without issue. Take that for what it's worth. They are very quick and have a clean shop.

Since we found this place 8 years ago, my wife and I only get our oil changes and smog checks at AYA Smog and Auto Repair. They give fast, excellent service and are 100% honest. One time, they let us know that we had a slight leak that would cost over $300 to fix but told us that if we kept an eye on the oil level and added oil when needed, our car would be fine. We didn't have the money at the time, so we really appreciated them being frank with us.

My Toyota Sienna has an oil leak and our dealer recommended this shop. The owner Varooj is very honest, fast, and reliable. The workshop itself is very clean. He even cracked a few jokes when we picked up our Van funny guy. Thank you for delivering Excellent Customer service! I highly recommend.

Top-quality smog specialists. They have the right tools and experience to quickly and correctly diagnose emissions control malfunctions. The shop is impeccably clean, and they did a thorough and professional job of correcting my emissions control devices. Highly recommended for older cars, especially. Fair prices and excellent work means these guys have all my future smog checks.

Dishonest mechanic.. when my smog didn t pass he said he would pass it for 400$ I told him no. Charged me 100$ then when I come back with a new catalytic converter ready for a retest he tells me I would have to pay full for a retest. This guy is a cheat

Very clean and professional, Tony was knowledgeable and was able to fix the problem that the BMW dealer in North Hollywood wasn't able to. Price was reasonable, they earned my business.

I brought my Ford F-150 truck to Smog Masters test only to get a smog check. It failed. It passes Emissions, but failed Function due to ignition timing. He said after smog repair, come back for a 2nd free smog check to pass it. I took the truck to AYA to do the smog repair. Speedy Lane Automotive referred me to AYA. Varooj Aghazarian, the mechanic, repaired for $300: It was $140 for finding the correct timing mark and adjust timing. $80 for Repair coolant leak from ETC sensor. $71.75 for Smog Check. $8.25 for Smog Cert. $0 parts. It was all labor, no parts. Total Repair Time: 1.1 hours. Hourly Labor Rate: $125. He charged me for a 2nd smog sheck. I didn't ask for that. I wanted to take it back to Smog Masters to get a free 2nd smog check.Service: Smog certification

This shop is solid. Owner operator. Accountability. Knowledgeable & professional. Looks after his customers best interests. Runs his business like he has himself together. Nothing but respect.I drive a 1997 full sized Heavy Duty van that runs on CNG. At least 45 shops passed on Smog repair. Out of a lack of confidence in their ability to address the issue. Aya didn't hesitate. I've been looking to get the repair done for a long time. And have come across shops that have misdiagnosed the issue. Here at Aya not only was he able to correctly identify the problem and repair it. He was able to do it in such a way as to save me a bundle. ,(ie; instead of a $1,200 replacement part. He properly cleaned the connection.)Don't hesitate to choose Aya.It's a smart choice.

Needed smog check, the owner is very professional and courteous. Didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need.. and even showed me how to clean the cabin air filter in my car. Great guy who is very honest

I took my company's vehicle in today for a smog check at the end of a long driving shift. The service was quick, welcoming enough, and I was back on the road again for $55. No complaints at all.

Horrible service! After I paid for A/C diagnostic $65 and prepaid $100 for the parts I was told I would owe $68 when the service was finished. When I came a week later I was charged $178! Such amazing liars! Will never ever use them again.

Told me does trabsmission work. Wentbin for an estimate. Gave me one. Cane back to do the work now he says he doesn't do transmission work
