Another repair shop said we needed new control arms and shocks for over $1000.I described the problem on phone to Val who said no, it would be warped brake rotors, pads and adjust rear brakes. He did the work quickly and problem solved just as he said!We previously went to Arrow for an electrical problem that TWO shops couldn't figure out and Val fixed it fast.All at very reasonable prices.We are only going to Val from now on and if you want a highly professional, honest mechanic with fair rates he is the ONE!DG

something was wrong so I asked everybody I knew on sock media for a trustworthy mechanic. I live in Van Nuys and when a students father Tod me he die from Beverly Hills to Arrow Auto (very close t me) I decided t try the out. I went over there. He fixed, whatever it was, did NOT charge me and I went on my way, But... have been going there ever since. Three cars later, Val, the owner, is honest and trust worthy, I know he gives me the lowest prices he can and I love him of it. I send everybody I know there.

"I will never bring any of my vehicles to this place again! I have been a long-time client, but my last experience here was terrible. I have an older model vehicle that needed a few things done. A few years ago, I had the air-conditioning worked on, so it was okay. Fast forward to about two months ago, my vehicle had a fuel leak and I needed my radiator changed, amongst other minor things. I brought my vehicle here to fix those issues.First of all, the labor was very expensive. Then, when I finally got my vehicle about a week and a half later, things seemed to be okay. The weather was cold, so there was no need to turn on my air conditioning. Days later, I decided to go and drive my car, since this is more of a weekend vehicle, and noticed that my lower center console was broken! I immediately called Val to let him know that whoever worked on my car had broken my lower center console. He asked me to bring the car on a specific day. However, I have college and doctor's appointments, amongst other things. I finally brought my car here and told him that my air conditioning wasn't working and mentioned my center console. He replied, "I trust my mechanics." I explained to him that I had no reason to lie about this, to which he replied, "Okay, let's take care of it."He then proceeded to go to the back to grab Crazy Glue. I said, "Really? You plan to fix this with Crazy Glue!?" He assured me that it would be okay. At this point, I was furious about this, so I kept my cool. Seeing that he couldn't fix it with Crazy Glue, he told one of his mechanics, who then came and screwed the piece back together. Afterward, I asked about my air conditioning, which he had previously fixed. He checked and recharged it, but unfortunately, the weather was still cold, so only semi-cold air came out.I had to leave for one of my doctor's appointments that day, furious about the whole thing. I tried to play music on my stereo, and now my stereo doesn't work! I thought, "What did these people do to my car?" I spent over a thousand dollars just to feel screwed over. I feel angry every time I drive my car, seeing the broken center console. I don't have air conditioning, and my stereo doesn't work! Given the way they handled the situation, I didn't bother to call him anymore. I no longer trust them and feel taken advantage of." My advice before bringing your car here take videos or pictures.

Val and Arrow Auto are wonderful! His rates are very fair and are accomplished quickly.. This time I needed an oil change and a seat repair. He also helped me with a flat tire repair for free. Finally, he had a metal gasket fixed for the gas tank on my boat! Arrow Auto does everything!

I took my Honda for numerous leak repairs by the recommendation of a friend who takes all of his vehicles to this shop no matter what repair is needed. The work was done to perfection, on time, and for a reasonable cost (lower than another bid I received from a different shop). Val and his team are the best. Their diagnostic work is amazing. I brought my car in the other morning. It was shaking like crazy and I was sure it was doomed. Val said it was probably the ignition wiring and spark plugs - sure enough - that was the problem. Very trustworthy, honest and reasonable.

When your auto mechanic gives you a warm & fuzzy feeling! Val has watched over my cars for years. I had called him about a noise I was hearing when starting the car and he insisted I stop by right then even though they were closing - said i don t want you to get stuck. Turns out the battery was almost dead. He had to send out for the correct battery, stayed and changed it. I am driving downtown to Disney Hall tonight for the annual KJAZ concert, and would have been really bummed to have it die there! Thank you Val

Val has been my mechanic (and my entire family's) for over 30 years. Even thought I am over 50 miles away from him now, he is the ONLY mechanic I will ever do business with. Honest as the day is long.

YEARS ago, the Cadillac garage told me, for the second time in 6 months, that I needed $3000.00 of work done on my car. FEELING that this was terribly wrong, I went on line and asked everybody I knew for an honest mechanic. I was told ARROW AUTO by a students father. I went there. I told Val what was wrong, he checked, found a wire, (or something) wrong or unplugged, fixed it, told me there would be no-charge and told to go, everything was fine. I've been going to him ever since and get the same kindness and expertise.

Do not got to this place. I went to this place on the 23rd of December 2015. The owner is a low life scammer, he made me wait for 3hrs while he ate pizza with two of his buddies in the office. Then 15 minutes before closing he has his mechanic look at my car once I looked out the window and asked why my car is still parked in the lot and his mechanics were only standing there doing nothing. After that He took my car out for a drive then return and says bring it back 2days later to do another check up I might have a gas leak. This was false I took it to a mechanic friend of mine and he said this guy was just trying to scam me. The reason my engine was shaking was because my sensor and filter was dirty. I was charged $50 for a false check up.. enjoy your free $50 f$@_#!

Very unprofessional! They tried to change turn signal bulb for me but did not know exactly how and try to take off an entire head lamp. After I showed them that it requires to unscrew only one screw, I also fixed it myself. Guess what , they charged me $30!!!! Fixed yourself and pay $30!!!
