We unfortunately hit a deer near Valley Ford and brought our vehicle with crushed right front to the Best of the Bay auto works. We really couldn't drive it much further. Tim broke away from his work to focus on our plight. He was extremely helpful and worked on the right front area to remove debris and create a drive-able condition for the vehicle. Thanks to his expert attention, we were able to continue on our way. Clearly, Tim knows what he is doing and was exemplary for his kindness to travelers. This is a great place and I wish we lived nearer.

I had just started driving down the Pacific coast Highway and experienced some problems with my convertible top. It wouldn't open. I went in there, met Tim and his son. In all of 3 minutes, he found what was wrong! He didn't have the part, but he showed me how to operate my top manually. Didn't charge me a single penny!!!! Tim is the best and nicest guy!! That garage fully deserves its name. Thanks Tim, you made my trip a whole lot nicer!

Mom and I were in a panic when my husbands car overheated. It s a new car and not one that I drive often. We ran into the shop and Tim immediately ran out to calm our nerves, diagnose and fix the problem. They were quick and eager to help and had us on the road In no time. We live in Novato but will definitely go back. It s nice to know there are honest, kind and qualified mechanics nearby. Highly recommend!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I cannot recommend Best of the Bay Auto Shop highly enough, particularly due to the extraordinary service provided by Tim. My Tesla sustained significant damage after driving through floodwater, leaving the underbody in need of repair. My friends and I were in a difficult situation, unsure of how to proceed with our weekend getaway.As luck would have it, we had parked the car at Best of the Bay Auto Shop. After locating their information online, I called to explain our situation. Tim was understanding and helpful from the start. He took the time to inspect the car, ultimately determining that he could secure the underbody, making the vehicle safe to drive once more.Tim's generosity extended far beyond just offering his expertise. After dropping off my boy at camp in Doran Park, I found out my splash shield underneath the car got partially dangling (possibly losing screws/pins). I suspected the culprit to be the piece of debris on Bodega Highway yesterday. When I was starting to get nervous after a Google search that most shops are almost 20 miles away, I was lucky to see Tim's shop is only 10 minutes away and open. I pulled into their driveway, Tim and his coworker promptly gave my car a quick check and confirmed that it was missing pins. The whole process took about 5-10 minutes and I was able to get on my way. They didn't charge me a thing! I would highly recommend their Auto Body.

Best service! We had to stop by as someone stole the gas cap from our RV overnight.They stopped their work right away, searching for a new fitting one and then even gave it to us for free! Super nice people, would recommend to anyone!

I had a very good experience at this shop. Tim was friendly, efficient, and delivered car in time frame estimated. He dealt well with the insurance co. So they did not question the proposed work. What a lifesaver! There's nothing more stressful than being on a long vacation trip and having to deal with a fender-bender that gets in the way of you moving on to your next destination. I am so grateful for Best of the Bay. I called them in the morning, dropped my car off before lunch, and was back on the road by the time lunch was done. Their professionalism and helpful attitude made the whole experience a true delight....which is frankly better than I get from auto repair shops in my home town. I couldn't get my hood to unlatch - I've got an old Ford F150 - and Tim encouraged me to drop by. He and Monte got right to work (I wasn't even out of the cab), fixed the problem quickly with a little elbow grease (and some de-rusting spray), and then graciously tightened the bolts holding the front bumper in place. They worked quickly and efficiently, I'll definitely recommend to my friends and neighbors. Thanks Tim!Service: Body & Trim

I brought my classic car in after an accident. They fixed it up better than ever. I'm very impressed by how thorough they were . Even found and ordered parts from Arizona because you can't find parts for a 1974 any more.. Great customer service . I wasn't a customer, but my car battery died across the street. I had a portable jumper pack luckily but without even asking for assistance two very kind men from this location crossed the street and offered to help me jump it! They already had their equiptment ready in hand and had offered suggestions as to how I could approach the issue most efficiently. It was so unexpectedly sweet, and they really seemed to know what they were talking about. If you're ever in a pinch they've got your back!

I don't have any experience with standard auto body repair at this business. However, the skid plate beneath my car's engine came loose on a holiday weekend when I was in the area. When I called Best of the Bay Auto Body, Tim said he was going to the shop anyway and agreed to meet me there. He secured the skid plate to the bottom of the car. Very nice.

I had doubt that my 93 5.0 Fox Body Mustang could be reanimated. I'm the second owner, my Dad was the first. Tim and his team removed all doubt. Being unibody construction, you cant just swap out quarter fenders. The cutting, fitting and fabrication they had to do to fix the mangled rear quarters was seamless. He communicated with me and sent me pictures throughout the process, so seeing the finished product was even more gratifying with all that needed to be done. Being true to our original estimate just added to the overall experience.Service: Body & Trim

Tim took care of us while we struggled to get a wrecker to take our stranded rental car back to SFO. Could not have been more friendly or helpful. He was great a very cold night he set us up in his office to stay warm and charge our phones. If you ever need help with your vehicle in Valley Ford go and see Tim.

These guys did a superb job fixing the body and paint damage my truck. The finished product was beyond my expectations. Prior to giving me an estimate, they went through the scope of work in great detail and provided thorough explanations of what was involved. We were driving through the area on Rte 1 and a piece of plastic came loose under the front fender. We found Best Of the Bay online and asked if they could help us out . They said come over and we ll take a look. They looked at the car right away , fixed it , and had us on our way in a few minutes. Couldn t have asked for a better experience. Someone carelessly scrapped the side of my car.I stopped by Best of the Bay Auto Works. Tim offered to take a look at the damage. He left for a moment returning with some rubbing compound and buffer...In only a few minutes he was able to remove the scratches.He refused to accept payment. Who does these kinds of generous acts for a total stranger?....Best of the Bay Auto Work does!Thank you again!Deborah von Bolschwing

I Highly recommend this shop to everyone, I needed to re attach my car's pumper and even though it was a minor fix, they had a sense of urgency to finish right away and they guy was extremely helpful and was playing some cool music( I was able to enjoy the rest of my drive on that convertible mustang on highway 1 )Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim
