This was my first time doing my smog here, and I will definitely come back. I called to get pricing which was very affordable and I was able to come in an hour for my smog. I got there the gentleman was very nice and professional and got straight to work. I was in and out in about 15 min. Great service highly recommend.

Really fast! I called in, scheduled the appointment for the same day and was done in under 30 minutes. If I ever need another smog check I will be returning! Great owner, down to earth and made it a pleasant experience.

I came here thrusday .although he said he had 20 years of experience.he doesnt know nothing .he said it was tampered with, but it was all original from the mechanic talk.he told me not to go again! He just stole $75 from me just be warned..went to anotger smog and it passed...

A1 just earned themselves another customer. An excellent location with plenty of parking and shade (very rare in the smog industry here in Vallejo). Excellent customer service. The owner is a top notch guy. Very friendly, straight-shooter, honest businessman. No "mickey mouse" smog here. He's been in the business over 20 years, and he knows what he's doing. Highly recommended. Prices are very competitive. Pro-Tips: Get the coupon online. Also bring cash and you'll save another $2.00. Good job A1!Service: Smog certification

Great experience! I've been here 3 times now and the owner, Said, has always been awesome and accommodating. As long as we are in the area, we definitely plan on coming back here for our smog checks!Update 12.21.23: Said once again helped me out! He's always so cool and conversations are awesome. Can't see myself going anywhere else!

Nothing but good things to say about A1 Smog, and no reason other than the fantastic owner. I bring EVERY car I have to get smogged here. Sayed is a very hard working, honest, and friendly man. He's very quick to get you on your way with your day as well. Best prices in town as well. Location is pretty good too, its right down the street from Vallejo DMV in case you have to provide smog paperwork for any incomplete title transfers. I don't know what else you would want in a smog shop other than what is mentioned here. Highly recommend.Service: Smog certification

Good, honest business owner. Before he took my money, he lead me the right direction to get my after market catalytic converter certified. After i did that, went back and my car passed smog. Andy is fast, friendly, and efficient. I've been taking my car there for several years. And I've never had to make an appointment. Even though there were customers ahead if me, I was finished and ready to go in about 30 minutes. And the price is as low as I've found. Five stars.

I was so impressed by the service here! I was in and out in probably less than 15 minutes. They were able to quickly tell me if my car passed or failed, and there was no hassle. I only got out of my car to pay. Highly recommend!

Actually came here a few months back when my ship was stationed here. Couldn t get into my google account at the time but I remember this place enough to give a good review. The best smog place in town!!!I've been to a few shops around here that were expensive and took 4ever. Been here a few times now and he is reasonable, quick and thorough. He even helped me put new wipers on my truck. Such a nice guy.

Awsome fast and easy! Great Guy been going here for the last 5 years and always took my 3 cars to have it Smog here. Better price then any others in in Vallejo I give it 10 out of 10

I called around 9:30am to ask if he had availability for today, he said I should go ahead and drive over. I waited about 10 mins and it took about 10 mins for him to run the smog test. Very pleased with the excellent service! There is some heavy construction going on out the front of his building at the moment (as of Oct 1, 2018) but parking on the side street to wait was fine.

If you haven't been here to get your car smogged should definitely check it out. The price is right and the service surpasses. I believe the gentleman's name is Said and I would like to say thank you again for helping us out. Great establishment! 5-stars!!!

Process was quick even during a busy time. Price was reasonable just like last time I went here.Even though some restrictions have been lifted, I appreciate the social distancing and masks worn.

Had to smog my car at a "star" certified smog place. Was nearby, so I called. The gentleman asked when I wanted to have it smogged and I said it would take me about a half hour to get there. Showed up, he took me right in smogged it gave me my receipt. And off I went! Excellent service!

Ed was having a bad day, or prejudged me based on ethnicity or appearances.Before testing he rudely demanded I remove my engine cover, saying"I don't do that". Yet, a large sign offered cover removal for $20!Moments later, he offered helpful and detailed advice should my vehicle not pass. Afterwards he couldn't open the hood, and blurted out, "I give up, I've wasted enough time!" I popped the hood myself and dryly retorted," You must not have much difficulty in your life." Ed calmed down, then tested the van. Sensing he was capable of good Customer Service, I shared my being new in town then asked why he was so defensive. He apologized for seeming unpleasant, then disclosed that a number of local Customers have been unreasonable, very rude, and have tried to take advantage of the business.To A1 Smog - When your Customers are respectful as I was, A1 Smog must be respectful in return. Do not disrespect your Customers because of how they or their vehicle may look.

They are true to there hours. Dude is always hustling, doing two cars are once. Always reasonable wait.
