It is an excellent place for auto repair. AJ is a consummate professional who really knows his trade. He is more than capable of not only handling most if not all, auto repairs you may need, but he is able to explain the problem to you in detail and in layman's terms so that you know what he's charging you for and why. I strongly suggest anyone looking for repairs or an auto diagnostic to check his shop out. I guarantee you'll be satisfied with the experience.

AJ s Auto is the best mechanic around! I have been going there for many years and he never disappoints. I love how much he cares for the car, with so much concern and love. Allen is very proactive in ensuring that every car that comes through that large garage door is taken care of with class and finesse. He explains in great detail to every customer exactly what he s doing to the car and explains how it will help it run better! It s almost like getting an auto anatomy lesson! You can t get that type of service anywhere else! If you have a chance, go check him out.

Allen has been an outstanding mechanic for me down through the years. He is a wealth of information and experience. I come here for everything.I even trust him when it comes to our new vehicles, as he is constantly taking classes to stay abreast on the latest technology. He has offered me great insight on caring for all our vehicles including our newer model hybrid.After a few bad experiences at the dealer, I ve been coming here ever since. He has always been very honest and informative with the work he does.Everyone needs a good mechanic so I can definitely recommend AJ s Auto. And he really cares to do the work right!Thank you AJ s!

I have been going to AJ's for the past 3 years for my regular maintenance, tires, breaks, oil changes, and have had other repairs done . Allen always provides top of the line service. He's thorough and makes sure things are done right, he is very knowledgeable about cars and honest. The shop is clean and customer service is excellent, they are always friendly. I live in San Pablo and come all the way to Vallejo because I know AJ's does a great job.

Took my car here years ago through the recommendation of my landlord and this guy is a fraud. I thought my car was being worked on as he even ordered parts on my behalf. After being in the shop for about a month, I took my cousin with me (an ex marine), to pick up my car. To my surprise no work was done. I mean zero. It was just sitting in the back of the lot collecting dust. I demanded my car and he was going to charge me for storage. I threatened to sue him and he quickly gave me my car keys, a check for a previous charge for work done, and the parts he ordered.

Being a single female it s so very important to have confidence in a mechanic; to do the right service. I finally found this confidence inAJ s Repair! Not only I received great service w/integrity, but got educated on my vehicle I ve driven for the past 10 years.

If you're looking for a "shade tree mechanic" this isn't the place to come. But if you want an honest, good conscious, mechanic: this IS the place for you! Honest man, wants to do the job right the first time, an expert at what he does. Don't come looking for a "deal" or a "hook up"; come here looking to have your car fixed for a fair price and being able to drive away without looking back!

Left my car here for a repair with about a month before I was leaving California to go back to Minnesota. After a week I called and no answer. I keep calling everyday for a week and nothing. Show up to his shop and no progress on the car and no signs of him. Fast forward to 1 week left before I leave and I went to the other business owners that are by his building and get his personal number from them. I get a hold of him and he says he s been sick but he ll try and get in so I can bring it back to Minnesota. His excuse for not calling and letting me know what was going on was he was to sick. A week goes by and I had to leave without the car. It s now been two months and he finally calls me today and says it ready. He said the book says it s 6.9 hours of labor but he said there was rust on it so it took 4 hours longer than what the book said. I find this odd as I took to to Valvoline prior to his shop and they were raving about how good the underbody was and how there is no rust. He stated he is only charging me for 5 hours which is think gross inadequate. I now have to buy and plan ticket and spend 2 days driving it back to Minnesota, which the roads are full of snow and not safe to drive a corvette on. He did do good job with my truck but this is totally inexcusable. Currently looking for plan tickets, coordinating getting there and checking the weather. Not how I want to spend 3 days off.

A J's Auto Repair is like no other place I've ever experienced! This place is what I have been looking for all my life! Honesty, integrity, friendly! These days Auto Repair places all try to get over on you but this place is the answer! Allen studies up on all the new things that come up every year to have a knowledge to keep up with fixing our vehicles it's like a doctor that studies every year to keep up with health issues that come up every year. Allen does this for the care of our cars.Not many mechanics do this extra step I have been going to him for 4 years and countiing everything done in my car has worked out my car feels re-new and strong I have over 200,000 miles on my car.Thank You eternally A J's!!

Tried to make an appointment for my truck but missed my appointment and the owner now refuses to help me get my truck fixed. Was told he is very professional he's obviously not. Very rude and not someone I'd trust to do any simple work on a vehicle.

AJ,Day to has been a place where I have always been able to take my trucks to be serviced an repaired I have been going to AJ,S auto since Allen opened on 451 Ryder street.AJ,S auto owner Allen Lee is very knowledgeable an a great mechanic really pays attention to the details on the vehicles he works on.I want to thank Allen for all the years of servicing my trucks an keeping me on the road.I recently bought another truck an was going home to Tyler Texas an went to Allen to make sure the truck was able to make the trip an when Allen was done an I got on the road I was loaded with furniture an construction tools an other things.An I was able to get great gas mileage 119 miles per 1/4 a tank that's real close to 500 miles per tank an this is a 2001 GMC rebuilt engine and rebuilt transmission.I cannot thank you enough AJ,S auto.I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND AJ,S AUTO TO EVERYONE. When you can take a 2001 truck an have it get almost 500 miles per tank that says something about your knowledge an a skill that you have an Allen Lee is very knowledgeable about his skill on any vehicle.Allen knows engine's Thank You so much for taking the time out to make sure my truck would make the trip from Vallejo ca. to Tyler Texas. Went there for my 6 month inspection, I had to call to get my car back, then they did a diagnostic, charged me for it, even tho I had coverage, then didn't even do my oil change, 6 hours and 130.00 later, all they did was give me a diagnostic, now I got to take another day off work to do the most important part, oil change, y didn't they do it, my insurance pays for it,

AJ's Auto repairs has poor quality and poor morals and treats his employees with no value and talks to them like they are just a regular person on the streets and not a real employee I took my vehicle there which I have is a Honda Civic to go get a power steering maintenance done which came back to me at first running okay then the noise came back again had to constantly call him to check it again which he told me he was really really busy and that he will get back at me so finally he did call me and when he called me I already had the maintenance and repair done do not take your vehicle here if you want good quality can't take a long time or not done at allService: General repairs & maintenance
