Got in around lunch time and was out very quick. Had to find a star certified place so I m glad this one s next to Costco. Owner was polite and price was fair. I ll return with my other vehicles.

Antoine was very professional and friendly. The waiting room was very clean and tidy. The entire process took less than 15 minutes. Will return for future smog testing.

Very small seems to be one man show BUT he's got the process down. Greeted everyone waiting, got the smog done, provided a great price, great service and I was in and out of there in no time.

Was denied at FFQS early in the morning for what I was told I had an 'aftermarket intake tube' - of which was odd since my vehicle is bone-stock. Looked up and found 'The Smog King' and had great reviews so gave them a shot. Brought my vehicle in and barely waited 5 minutes for the previous vehicle to be completed. Work on my vehicle was barely 8 minutes, passed and done. Antoine was awesome and professional. Will be taking my business there from now on.Service: Smog certification

Such an amazing experience. I pulled up and Antoine was there to greet me and told me to pull my car right in (no wait). He told my husband and I to head into the waiting area and that the process would take about 10 minutes. The waiting area is comfortable and there's a huge window to look into the bay (where my car was). He was right, it was no more than 10 minutes, we took care of payment (which included a $10 discount we found on Yelp) and after a brief personal conversation we were on our way. We will never go anywhere else for a Star certified smog. We love that this is a black and family owned establishment to support.

I have been making the terrible journey to Cherry Pit to get my car smogged for years. I went to get it done today and they do not do them anymore. I Google smog check near me and smog king comes up. I call and am told it s first come first serve. I was in and out in under 20 minutes. The gentleman running the shop was super nice and very personable. Inside was clean and air conditioned. Best smog experience ever. I will be coming here every time and will no longer dread the smog check.Service: Smog certification

After having one appointment canceled and then going for another appointment and having the place closed without any notice during operation hours I was feeling very stressed about getting my smog done. I happened to see the smog king sign on my way home and figured I would just see about getting an appointment. 15 minutes later I walked out with my smog completed!!! The young man who helped was friendly, professional and FAST!!!! Will be going here for all smog needs in the future.

By far the best experience I have ever had when testing my car for emissions. It was nice to be able to wait inside on a hot day as well.The real reason I am writing this review however, is because I misplaced my form and they were able to send me a new one immediately and for free! You cannot beat their customer service.

The customer service here felt really personal. The professionalism was amazing and my car was done before I could even sit down. The sitting area was very clean and smelled great. Even had a Tv with customer channel options! Definitely Recommend!

In the time that we are living in its a great thing to come across a business like this that shows you great respect with even better service. One of the best spots to take your car. My car failed smog and still he takes his time to check my car any time I come through to see if it will pass the emissions test. Thank you for your time and great customer service

I was failed for a aftermarket cat even after proving it was cali compliant. Didn t want to do it but had to reach out to Ref/BAR. They confirmed my cat, and the smog tech still didn t want to pass my car. Thankfully I was refunded my money . Watch out !Service: Smog certificationService: Smog certification

Smog King is the best! I take all of our cars there. I recently bought a brand new car out of state and had to have it smogged. The O2 sensor wasn't ready yet and he worked with me and talked about driving it more to get it to pass instead of just failing me and taking more money. Great customer service so I will keep going back.

I called and asked for the price of a smog check for a 2004 Honda Pilot. I was quoted 59 dollars. My daughter went to get the car smogged, when she came home, she was charged 89 dollars! I called the shop and the guy said I didn't go personally...it sounds to me that they take advantage of how you look. My daughter being a young women, seemed liked easy prey. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS to people with no ethics.Service: Smog certification

As a woman I tend to be on guard to not to get taken advantage of but from day one I felt relaxed, welcome and was treated with respect and professionalism.
