After reading one of the two "One Star" reviews at Yelp, I started laughing and decided then and there to give Upland Mercedes Repair a shot at doing my scheduled maintenance, inspection, oil change, etc. I called and spoke with the owner, Andy, and scheduled an appointment. During the inspection, it was noted that the engine air filter needed replacing. I talked to Andy via phone and said I would pass on the air filter as the process was simple and quick and that I would handle that myself. Andy also informed me that MBZ recommended replacing spark plugs at 50,000 miles. He went on to say that the spark plugs looked fine. So I passed on that service as well. I will see what the spark plugs look like at the next scheduled service ... at Upland Mercedes Repair. A big thanks to Andy and his professional crew for doing a great job at a very reasonable price!Services: Vehicle safety inspection, Oil change

Andy and the team make it happen. Their expertise in AMG cars (recommended by others) lead me to Upland. I drove up from San Diego for the service and so glad I did! We had a long list of items to tackle however they were short on staff. Instead of turning me away or making excuses they jumped on my car, diagnosed as much as we could and dealt with an unexpected problem with incredible speed and class! Never wanted to buy a Mercedes just based on maintenance and repair cost. I was told about this place from a friend who assured me this place was beyond reasonable pricing and doesn't repair anything that doesn't need to be. Bought my first Benz last year and this shop has made everything so much easier and reassuring when I feel it may need something. I get an honest recommendation and what I don't need to worry about till I bring it in next time he'll look at it again and see how it's holding up. He doesn't charge me a lot of things a lot of places would charge just to look at. Truly a great establishment with honest work.

First impressions are very important. The easiest impression is to follow through with a promise to return a call with a quote. This business is either very busy and can afford to forget me or they are very absent-minded and not meriting touching my vehicle. I called on a Saturday and asked for a quote. I was promised a return call. I did not get a call. I called again on Monday afternoon and reminded the person that I did not get a quote. I was told that he had it in his notes but had forgotten. I was told he would call me back because he was at lunch. Tic toc, it's Wednesday evening and no call. If a business cannot follow through with something as easy and simple as a return call with a quote--a reflection of attention to detail and basic customer service--how can I possibly trust them with attention to detail on a Mercedes-Benz? I took my business elsewhere.

#1 place to trust with your mercedes. I have been a customer for the last several years. From simple oil changes to major suspension work. It's always been a great experience!! Experienced car trouble on the way from SoCal to Bay Area; found these guys on Google and showed up unannounced. They were awesome! They diagnosed and fixed the problem immediately; I was expecting to get a hotel room for the night but instead I was on my way in less than 2 hours. Mercedes Benz specialists. Family run business. Experienced mechanics. Fair prices. Trustworthy all the way.I took our diesel Sprinter here due to a turbo boost problem. They Had me up and running fast and for 1/3 of the prices I was quoted around the I.E. and 1/4 of the price I paid last year for a similiar problem.

Just like everyone else says, they are honest and kind. I always feel a little guilty when I leave, like I cheated them because their rates are so reasonable. I will not take my AMG anywhere else. I have not found anyone as competent and honest for mercedes repair from Chicago to LA. Thank you Upland Mercedes Repair.

Upland Mercedes is without a doubt the finest repair shop I guess outside of Germany.. So next to the Mercedes repairs done at the dealership you will not find a better place, although I must admit I ve been to my share of Mercedes dealers were they have not done nearly the job. They re in the new place now and it s larger very clean and just like the old place very professional I cannot possibly think of a better place to repair service my 95 E-420.
