My husband and I have been going to Alonso s auto repair for a few years now. They do an excellent job on our cars and have the best prices! They are timely, kind, reliable and have integrity! We recommend them to all our friends and family. You don t need to go to another mechanic. Alonso s will take care of you! Thank you all for everything! Have a blessed week

I ve taken multiple vehicles to Alonso s over the years. Spent thousands of dollars but I ve taken note that it seems like every time I ve gone there recently, they always seem to find something extra that needs to be fixed.Dropped off my vehicle for some recommended maintenance. Ended up not getting the work done because they called me with an estimate of $2200.I noted in their recommendations that the engine air filter be replaced with an estimated cost of $191. For a part that costs $25 and takes about two minutes to replace.The recommendations also noted something about the brakes. I just had the brakes done for this vehicle at Alonso s two months ago And my wife, who routinely drives this vehicle, swears up and down that the brakes are squeakingHard not to feel like you re being ripped off.

These guys were great. I would not say they were the cheapest, but I did not feel like they gouged me either. They handled several services my car needed, they did it in a timely manner, and they were very professional and easy to work with. My car now feels way better, and they warranty their work. Sometimes you get what you pay for, and I will definitely take my car to them again.

Had an issue where my car just would not start. It was after hours and I am not familiar with mechanics in Upland. I chose Alonso s Auto Repair based on the reviews and I was not disappointed. I had my car towed their this morning, Eileen took my information over the phone while I waited for the tow truck . When I arrived both Eileen and Alby were there to take my car, no haste no issues. Asked if I approved diagnostic fee, I said I would . Alby called me a few hours later advising that the issue could not be replicated . When I arrived to pick up the car I expected to pay some sort of fee. Nothing is free right ?! Well I was so pleasantly surprised that the team at Alonso s didn t charge me. Honestly I would have paid them something . Other mechanics would have charged me a minimum fee. Thank you Eileen, Alby, and Freddie. I work in Upland and I will make sure to refer customers to you. An honest mechanic !!Thank you !

My car was suffering from transmission issues and I was referred via a coworker to Alonso s! Alonso and staff were ready and willing to help! The people who work here are wonderful. They are very kind, professional and honest. I recently moved to this area, and recently a few indicator lights (traction, break, ABS) lit up. I had my car inspected somewhere else and they told me I needed to replace my entire breaking system, quoted me a price that s higher than the value of my car, and tried to add in quite a few unrelated services I came here and they gave me a very through explanation of exactly what is wrong, quoted me a reasonable price, and helped me fix the problem efficiently.Thank you! My beloved Honda Civic 2000 finally died after 213,000 miles of use. Alonso s gave helpful information about getting a replacement engine, but it was decided that it wouldn t be worth putting a used engine in that might not run for long. A mechanic at Alonso s bought my Civic, and they did not charge for the diagnosis on the car or the 6 days it was parked inside (normally they charge after 3 days for storage). Alonso s was able to test another car I was considering purchasing the next day after I called to see if they could check out the car. They re always so friendly at Alonso s, and my family and I have been going to them for a few years now. We plan to be lifetime customers!

This place is awesome! Alonso and his kids run a quality honest shop. They don't cut corners and do great work. Even if you just come in for oil changes, you get a good value for your money. I've also had major repairs done here, they do the work fast and take pride in the quality of the work. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had my 2010 5 series BMW worked on for a fuel pump control module. The work done was so far so good I haven't had any stalls since the vehicle was repaired and it takes off a lot smoother. The customer service I received was great and helpful. The only problem I had was that once I got home my car had a notification for low coolant which was strange so I checked under my hood to see that my coolant cap was not even screwed on. That could've done way more harm to my vehicle had I not caught it as quickly as I did. Very scary to think about. Other than that I would recommend. giving 5 stars based on the excellent staff they have working the customer service department. They were great from the beginning to the end really appreciate them.

When I call the business I spoke with Jeremy, he was explanatory about what he was going to do in regards to an alignment. They were going to do a inspection to see if the car needed it. I would recommend anybody who wants your car aligned and or etc to come to their business.

I had a great experience at the shop. The receptionist was extremely nice and helpful. They checked my father's truck at no charge and we're able to explain in detail what it needed done. I will definitely be going to them for future repairs.

I had a horrible experience when I went to this repair shop, I was threatened and cursed at by the owner and the staff luckily I was on the phone with my warranty company, so they were able to document everything that was being said. Additionally, they overcharged me for unauthorized work. I had to contact the state of ca; furthermore, I have cameras in my car, and upon reviewing the footage, I caught one of the employees driving my vehicle. At first, they tried to deny it, so upon contacting the state of CA and sending them the evidence, the state of CA was able to rectify the situation. I definitely would not go here or trust this place very unprofessional and unpleasant experience!

Alonso's Auto Repair is Number 1 in my opinion. After finding them on a Google search of the top 10 best auto repair shops in Upland, where I just moved to, I checked their website and Yelp reviews. Alonso was very personable and took the time to get to know me and my car repair needs. They fixed my 2017 Chargers front brakes in a timely manner, test drove for safety check and was very fair on pricing. Thank you to the team at Alonso's for being my new 'Go To' Mechanic

Brought my car in to replace a belt and they told me they needed to replace a pully too. Fine, they were great about communication, friendly, and did a full exam of my car and found a couple things I knew about and gave me options for repair, and told me I should put different spark plugs in. If it had stopped there is good them 5 stars. But when I picked up my car, about half mile down the street the check engine light had started flashing. Not good. Pulled over and popped the hood, and found it that they'd left one of my spark plug wires disconnected after they'd checked them. Not acceptable. 2 stars.

Went in there telling him I had just had work done and that the failing part had a lifetime warranty with AutoZone. Wanted to charge $250 for replacement of failing part. Found another mechanic that did work for $60. Other mechanic removed part, gave it to me to exchange part at autozone, and put it back in. Really made question Alonso and left feeling that he overcharges people. Really disappointed bcuz he had great reviews. Would never go back or recommend him to anyone.

Same here went to alonsos because of his great reviews and left disappointed because he overcharges. then I disagree on some of his charges asking for a discount on the diagnostic that he did not perform and he got all bent out of shape and told me he doesn't ever want to ever do business with me straight slap in the face for considering his business as a place with integrity.

Work done well, in time, and the cost is reasonable. Transmission service (oil) is in the low $200 for my 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander - about 3hrs work. Highly recommended.
