I took my mazda here for the first time, after seeing all the great reviews on google and they didn't disappoint. In addition to the oil change and manufacturer recommended service, I needed to get the rear wiper mechanism and the rear hatchback release replaced. They patiently explained what had to be done and I was given quotes for the replacements and they called me as soon as the parts were received. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be going back here.

Had an emergent car issue and the shop helped me from beginning to end. Plans of action were always communicated and Ivan was patient addressing all the needs. Car works great now. Will def seek their services again.

I think their customer service is good. They are patient, friendly and professional. The car took a few weeks to fix because the part they ordered came in broken. But they did offer me a complementary loaner car and then got the part from another vendor so I didn't have to wait much longer. I also appreciated the fact that they took time to walk me through how to drive the loaner car and also answered any questions I had regarding my vehicle.

Came in for a "REDUCED ENGINE POWER" message popped out from dash. Spoke with Ralph and was recommended to do a diagnostic test before any work. Ralph was very communtive and thorough in explaining the results. Proceeded with the recommendation and was satisfied with they're work. They also offered a loaner car while work was being done. Had a great experience and definitely will return for future issues.

I made an appointment over 3 weeks in advance just fyi. I show up 10 minutes before my appointment at 10am. I was told I would receive a text message shortly to confirm what time to pick up the vehicle. I never received a text. I call a hour later to make sure they have my right phone number. They haven t even checked my car in yet. They said they will send me a text shortly to say they finished and direction on how to pick up the vehicle. I never receive a text so I call about 6 hours later to just make sure my vehicle is finished. They then try to sell me new tires and brake fluid. Tell me that my coupon is not valid and I have to pay now $150 for an oil change. I went here to save money from going to a dealership and that s just not the case. T&L took longer and cost just as much as going to the dealership. Ivan was the gentleman that spoke to me on the phone all day and said that he would text me all the times but didn t.

Very responsive and thorough. Provided clear and accurate information on the repairs. Even helped out getting me back to their shop to pick up my car. It was raining so they came to my house to give me a ride! How many shops do that?

I took my car in to have a diagnostic on it coz it wouldn t start so T&L on it and they said I had a crack in my engine and no compression so we had to get a new engine. So I didn t believe them so I took it to a family friend who is a certified mechanic and use to work for NASA and the only thing that was wrong was that we had to replace the fuel pump assembly and spark plugs and a new battery and an old change. So I will not take any of my vehicles or recommend them to anyone .

I ve lived here many years. Ore like 50 years. I ve never tried the place. They were very thorough. I was walked through of all the existing problems. Unfortunately I am not a wealthy individual. It s simply an old family heirloom. But the people were extremely nice.I highly recommend them.

I felt the service was good. I came here for an maintenance inspection for my car since I'll be driving far away for now on. I wished I would have came here first because the other mechanic I went to last time was a bad experience. I like how this place gives pictures of the issues then offers repairs. Obviously the dealership was a complete scam which I did not fall for. This place even gives a free ride home too. Thank you.

This is the best mechanic in the east bay. If you value prompt communication, transparency with repairs/fees and someone will advocate for you when dealing with insurance adjusters, T&L is the best choice you can make. Absolute pleasure working with Ivan, helped facilitate repairs on my stolen vehicle that my insurance did not want to cover. Got my vehicle back after 4 months of negotiating with insurance and absolutely appreciate the effort and patience T&L exhibited during this stressful negotiation.

They re reliable and kept me up to date on all the work that was needed or needed to be done to my car. They explained to me what was needed for my car and made sure that I left the shop with a safe car to drive. I have had a real bad experience with T & L Elite Auto Repair.Called them several times requesting for a engine replacementcost quote and was promised that that will get back to me but theynever did. My recent experience with T & L has been nothing short of a headache. Last year in April I brought my car to this dealership to fix a misfire problem, I was charged $1000+ for coils and spark plug. So, when the exact same issue happened again this past week, I immediately brought it back to them. The front desk lady was odd and seemed to have no record of my visit to them last year, and no record of the repairs were done. She also continued to answer incoming calls the entire time she was helping me. She claimed they recently upgraded to a new system, which apparently wiped out all records of previous repairs done by them.After they performed a diagnostic (for $176) they determined the alternator needed replacement and acknowledged that the #2 coil and spark plug had been changed recently. (This was the service performed by them last year). They informed me they swapped #2 coil and spark plug with #3 cylinder, which they didn t charge me extra for. I figured this was probably an acknowledgement of their previous work on my car. I also needed an oil change. The quote was $1295 for these services.When I was informed about the alternator/coil/spark plug issue and given the $1295 estimate, I decided to do my research and get a second and third opinion from other mechanics. To my dismay, I found that the quoted price for the alternator replacement and labor was outrageously inflated compared to the average market price, almost double! Perhaps they thought they could take advantage of me because I am a woman that came in alone assuming I wouldn't understand the intricacies of car repairs.Either way here I was, just a year later, facing the exact same issue I had already paid them over a thousand to fix and now they wanted $1295 more of my hard-earned dollars. It became evident that their so-called expertise amounted to nothing more than patch-up jobs to drain customers' wallets.I ended up paying them the diagnostic fee and removing my car and taking my business elsewhere.I urge all potential customers, especially fellow women, to steer clear of T&L. Save yourself the headache, potential financial strain, and waste of time I had to endure. Seek out dealerships who keep accurate records and value integrity.

I have been a long time T&L customer. I was a customer prior to the current owner and the service is still very good. I wish they worked as hard as hard as the previous owners did to keep cost of services low but I do understand that it is a different owner with more overhead than the previous so I can some of it. They offer a wonderful way to understand what the repair is and how to understand it with phone texts that guide you through the process of the repair as well as the photos of the repair itself if possible. That is different from the past owner and I believe it is a step up. I will say they aren't cheep but what repair shop is inexpensive any longer?All in all very good experience in both repairs performed on my Lincoln Town Car and understanding when the part they repaired went bad before it theoretically (not necessarily the actual warranty) should. They understood that and compensated appropriately.

These guys are great and well experienced. They did the oil change for my 2017 Ford Mustang within an hour (at Ford San Leandro dealership, it took over 4 hours!) and able to spot any additional problems. The staff was very friendly and welcoming too.Overall, great experience. Save your time and money by coming here.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change
