Fraudulent shop. Used to be a very honest shop. Went there for years, but now it's become very shady. Do not fix the problem , have to repeatedly take car back and kept being told is something new, using old parts and charging for new parts.

Horrible customer service, the owner charged me more than the price online, gary or Gurman had the worst attitude, he tossed my receipt and my credit card in the front desk, he was very rude, I won't be there any more, I just went because I work close but I regreted it. Don't go there if you are not a friend of him. there are not good with new customers.

Gary provides great service and always give good advice. He is an expert car technician. All his technicians in particular Carlos are superb technicians also.I have been getting my cars serviced from Baystar for last 20 years or so and very satisfied with personal level of service. I also referred many other friends and family members and all of them also got excellent service from at Baystar autos.

Bait & Switch! Mr. Singh cares little for honesty. Told me to come early so I'd be first in and then when I came, he told me I would have to wait 4 hours! Quoted me one price on phone and then when I showed, he didn't care and wanted me to do $300 worth of diagnostic test even though I had already done them elsewhere and had a copy of the assessment. The prices for hourly work, diagnostics are double other auto shops. He's also mean and raised his voice. Anger issues. Watch out! I would definitely not recommend this place.

I purchased a used 2006 Kia Sportage, and took it to Gary to get it inspected, before I made the purchase. For $95 he did the inspection and gave me all the details about my car. It was a big help in making the decision to buy my car. I will definitely come back, and highly recommend this place to all of you!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Took my suburban to get a diagnosis, repaired, and smogged. Gary checked it called me the next day telling me all issues with the vehicle and the estimate to get all fixed and smogged. He was honest and upfront on what it needed, got it all done in a reasonable time frame. Very happy and I will be coming back for any future repairs.

I heard a noise in my brakes I took it to check and they told me that I had to change them they charged me $800 and they gave me the cheapest they could find I took to them it 4 days in a row because it left a worse sound they would have done the work for me for free. They gave no importance to it, they just left it all day and told me that there were no failures until I brought them a video of the problemsI know it has to make a profit but you can't be that miserable to install poor quality brakesI think I should never take my car to that place and I think that my problem was not changing the brakes and that they did it for profitService: Brakes

AAA certified and the owner Gary is honest and trustworthy as a mechanic shop. I'm having multiple cars worked on by his shop and will be sending my friends there too

Trustworthy...I've been going here for many years now. I didn't trust anyone before them. I always felt that there's some cheating at other places. I have 5 cars and the rotation cost for smog certification does add up to $$$.

I never had any issues with this place until recently,the owner's has attitude. My car didn't pass the smog,but that's not what I'm mad about. He tells me to hang up on my phone while talking to the mechanic that worked on my car and tells me that he can "educate me". That's ridiculous. That's not an attitude of an owner. I would give 0 stars for this place......

This man is an absolute crook. He tried to charge me $70 for a smog for my suv when it states 49.95. Then when I ask him about it he says you are paying for the certificate as well... I get that part but the certificate is under $10... so where does the other $10 go? I called him out and he suggested I go somewhere else and you know what, I did. I have already contacted the BAR and BBB for unlawful ethics. I look forward to seeing his doors close so it can be replaced with an honest business. Do NOT go there, instead the Shell station on mission and willow is $10 less and has excellent customer service.

I am so happily satisfied with the work done on my 2005 Pontiac Montana, prior to... my van was shaking a lot when in Park/Stopped , the problem being (2) motor mounts were broken, plus I went ahead and had them install spark plugs and new wires.My van is now running like new, I can barely hear the engine and the performance is awesome, Thank You Gary, Carlos and the rest of the crew who worked on my car I hella recommend UCAuto Repair Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Wrong part. Overpriced.Simple heater issue (blower valve) and they replaced the wrong part - and then charged above for the part! Then it didn't work, so they diagnosed a full heating core replacement on my dime. No thanks.The owner was away though.

Owner Gary is unfriendly and rude. And it s a quite expensive. The repair work and service itself is decent. If you are ok being talked down to and paying a bit extra, it s a fair place.

Gary charged me $60 for the smog test which is the highest in the neighborhood. When I questioned him about it he blames it on inflation! Will never visit again.Service: Smog certificationService: Smog certification

For about 20 years they have been servicing our cars, tune ups, smog checks,etc. And we have never been disappointed. Great work at the right price.
