This place has ZERO integrity. Do your research before you take your vehicle here. They will fabricate lies in order to take your money. Better yet, support the local small businesses and take your vehicle elsewhere. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone, especially if you own a diesel vehicle.

On a road trip in my Suburban LTZ, the liftgate microswitch malfunctioned causing the door locks to operate and a "rear access open" code, even though the liftgate was properly latched. I spoke with Matte at Thurston and told him the problem. He responded that they'd need $185 and some time to diagnose the problem themselves. So I left the Suburban with them and rented a car from them for $60 so they'd have time to fix it. He calls me a couple hours later and says it needs a new latch, that he'd need a day to get the part in, and that it would cost $850 to repair. I said I couldn't wait overnight on my road trip, and wondered why he took the car in if he didn't have the part I said it needed. When I picked it up, he thought he could turn the volume down on the bell ringing when the error code went off, but couldn't even do that. So I took the car back with nothing being accomplished for my $245. When I got back over to Point Arena from Ukiah, I unscrewed the catch part of the latch and stuck a piece of plastic under it so it would pull down tighter when it closed. That shut it up until I returned to Texas where I ordered a latch on Amazon for $54 and put it in myself in about 30 minutes. It's my opinion that Thurston Auto Plaza just takes advantage of people, they don't carry much in the way of parts, and don't have much expertise in actually figuring anything out anyway. There's really not much use in patronizing this business.

Took new Carolla hatchback in for service, not realizing I needed an appt. But the nice guys in express service worked in.While waiting I saw Brad, my salesman. I asked him about GPS and phone hookup. Before I drove away I had it all!Thank you for your great customer support.

Ben Barajas sold me a car 5 weeks ago and still no paperwork. I called to follow up and he told me to keep in touch with him, because he gets too busy. What kind of customer service is that? He should be keeping in touch with his customers and making sure they are satisfied with the business he has done for Thurston Chevrolet.

The guys that sell parts are a mix some know what they are doing while others don't have a clue even when you provide all the information correctly. Since this has happened more than once, in fact three times I have to give it a 3 stars. They have messed up with the type of fluid for the transmission, the drain plug which is still working but they said I may need a new oil pan, and another part which the mechanic said it was the wrong part.

Good service for an oil change, tire rotation, check battery( I needed a new one). Very efficient. Also they are masked up and keeping people apart.

A little hard to find the Enterprise Car Rental there but staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. Thurston also has a number of other dealerships there like Subaru and Kia

Thurston only cares about you in the used vehicle area when you signing paperwork after then you get a lemon that they wont help you with even if you offer materials cost , yes I get there I's no warranty with used vehicles especially Chevy over 80k I got mine at 82k and it was a huge mistake .. new vehicle with warranty you will be ok I hear ... I thought after losing a child to cancer and ending up homeless because I was mentally not ok then pulling it together getting a home again and fixing my credit I would be ok but nope .. I trusting a dealership and I wasn't but a week in and had issues I am a few hundred in tow fees and thousands in repairs as of now ..

Had my 2010 Chevrolet Z71 1500 4x4 airbag recall replaces got the truck back with my dashboard cracked called the manager left a message haven't heard back yet

Went for Enterprise yet it's all Thurston in one way,. The vehicle rental was worth putting all those old mountain & log roads to use.
