Carlos was very helpful and professional. I didn t have an appointment and he made time to do my pre smog then smog inspection so that I wouldn t have to pay twice. I was happy the price was $60. The office was clean and warm. I highly recommend him!

By far the best smog experience I have ever had. My previous experiences at other establishments have always ended up costing more than just a smog test hence I feel there is always a hidden agenda/charges. This establishment is super honest with no alternative motives. Owner is wonderful and super kind!Support your small local businesses that hold the right business model! Honesty and INTEGRITY!

Carlos is the man! I needed a quick smog for the DMV and he made it happen on the spot and I was able to get everything taken care of same day. The shop is super clean and well organized. Service and professionalism was top notch. I would highly recommend using these guys.

Stop your research, I did it for you and this is the best! Carlos is friendly and professional and this is the most affordable place I ve found! $60 cash flat for my 2016 civic to be smogged, walk ins are welcome but appointments are recommended(I was able to get same day availability!)Kinda tricky to find with GPS coming from the north, but look for the big California smog sign that s on state street and go back along the fence to find them! Carlos smogged my 1996 Ranger and it failed. He was a tremendous help in suggesting what I needed to do for it to pass. I did all the necessary work on the truck and it passed! I drove all the way from Lower Lake. My message to everyone in Lake County... Carlos is worth the extra drive-time.

I'd agree with the other positive reviews. If you need a STAR smog inspection this where to go in Ukiah. Finding a mechanic with skill and humility is small business worth supporting. He's got the latest equipment and accepts Apple Pay/Tap. 10 minutes in and out.

If your ever in need a a star smog or a regular smog I recommend this place I made an appointment the day before got me in and out in no time even helped me correct a gas cap issue highly recommend this place and the staff has excellent customer service made my experience pleasant and they know what they are doing

This place is fantastic. Not only did I get a full inspection of my smog system to determine what work was needed that I could do myself, he did a system test before smog test and made adjustments where needed at a minimal cost. I came out with a passing smog on my 1977 Dodge 1 ton van. I am more than happy with all the work. Came here after reading some of the reviews and Carlos absolutely didn't disappoint. Very generous with sharing his knowledge about what it takes to pass smog for my specific vehicle, so as not to waste time and money. (He even gave me some useful advice on selling my vehicle as well.) After going over a few things he determined I had a good chance of passing and sure enough, it passed no problem. He got me in on short notice and got it done exactly in the time he said. Very reasonable price too. I'll be going back here next time I need a smog for sure. Could not recommend higher!

I've been to four smog stations around here. Fort Bragg and Ukiah. one I won't mention in Fort Bragg was going to try to get over 500.from me. I went to California Smog and was treated great!!! had to do it twice because failed the first time. cost less than one time in Fort Bragg. I was treated as a valued customer and didn't get ripped off.Carlos is great

This is by far the best place I have ever gone for smog. Very clean and organized shop, very caring and knowledgeable owner, quick service. i felt supported no mater the outcome and that we would work it out together.

Carlos was very friendly. Professional and helpful.We were in and out in no time. For cars 2000 and newer.We definitely recommendtaking your car or truck there for a smog check.He is an mechanic as well.

Carlos was able to get my car smogged same day right after I called him. I called another place first but they wouldn't have been able to see me until tommorow. Very quick and friendly. Best place to get a smog. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Great service. Very thorough. My car didn't pass and he tried to give me some advice on things I could do for a cheap temp fix and said he wouldn't charge me again untill it was sure to pass. I haven't gone back for that yet, but it was a very nice offer. He also gave me a $10 discount on the test fee since I didn't pass.

The guy who runs the place, Carlos, was awesome! He was nice enough to make room to see me on short notice and was very helpful. He made the process smooth and short and went way beyond my expectations. 100% recommend! Needed a car smogged that I just got transferred in my name and I was on a time crunch. He had me in and out less than 15 minutes! The owner is very knowledgeable about the smogging process and professional the entire time. Also, he makes you feel at home and explains everything as he goes.
