The staff I encountered were pleasant, courteous and cheerful. The laundry room is super clean. It cost $2 to wash a load and $2 to dry.

We stayed here two weeks ago. We had originally planned to stay just one night and decided to stick around for two additional nights because this place was so great!! The owner lent us a BBQ and even brought it to our site. The facilities were spotless and the front desk staff could not have been nicer. But the biggest feature here is the amazing proximity to the front door of Joshua Tree National Park. We could get from our site to some of the best parts of the park in just a few minutes. And the visitors center in Twentynine Palms was just a couple of blocks away.

We ve had a great three night experience here. Better than we expected with the reviews totaling 4.1 at the time of this one.Quite despite being at the road. Nice and dark. Showers and restrooms are clean and convenient. Basketball hoop for the kids. Laundry room was nice. Most importantly, JTNP is right up the road! The park definitely exceeded our expectations and so then this RV park has been all the more refreshing to come home to after a long day exploring! Thanks

I am having a great experience here. As a retired Marine I like being 2 miles from the base. As one who has spent 10 years, 1989-1999, at the MCAGCC I have been overwhelmed with nostalgia and with the growth of the area. The campground is neat, orderly, and quiet. I have had consistent 5g service since arriving. My kids love the pool. My dogs appear to appreciate the fenced dog run/pet area.

This was our first time taking our rig out and I'm actually glad this is the place we chose for our stay. They had all the plug ins needed and great people at the front to help with check in and letting us know the best place inside the park to watch the stars. The only negative thing I have to say is we paid for a premium pull through parking and there was no shade at all so it took until sundown for our rv to cool down.

What kind of place puts time limits on a bathroom?! We only stayed here to charge up our van and to get a shower for a night. There is only one bathroom and if you re unlucky like we were it s a good 5 minute walk to the bathroom since this place is sooo long and our spot was so far away! Seems a bit rundown and not taken care of for the price we paid.

Great place to stay. Very friendly staff. Marylyn in the office will get you all set up. If you want a safe, clean, and well run park, this is for you.

Very nice Rv resort, awesome pool, friendly helpful staff. Best Rv park in the 29 Palms area. I will most definitely be coming back...

Great RV park and perfect location for Joshua Tree National Park. Located just minutes north of the less popular (and therefore quicker entrance) oasis entrance makes this park great, but the park is also well managed and has the luxury of trees around all spots except pull through spots which is so nice in the desert. Winds do tend to be high, but that goes with the territory.

8 of the 12 dryers were out of order. Sauna broken as was the hot tub. Poor maintenance. Good location to the NP is the only thing going for it. Are they going under ?

Everyone I've met on staff has been cheerful and helpful. I'm staying a month in my rig here, and really enjoying it. The pool is closed due to COVID, but the bathrooms and laundry room are immaculately clean. There are trees for shade over the parking spots. Great location for exploring Joshua Tree, Morongo Canyon, and beyond. Neighboring folks are friendly, and respectful of quiet time. Sunsets and star watching have been terrific. Hoping to stay again soon.

This was our first stop out of LA on our 12 months journey. We arrived very late but the night watchman was there ASAP to get us settled in. We had three nights and the sight is quietly located to the fringe of town. It is handy to get to the National Park- Joshua Tree is great. The RV Park has a good supplies store and the toilets/showers are good. Laundry is also good. Office staff are very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

Very clean and level sites, good value for the money. Took a shower without using my water heater because the ground water is already so warm! My son was in heaven being able to take a long shower! I will certainly come back here when I pass back through!Warning, hosts like to play their loud music while driving their sand dune around.

Nice amenities like a very nice pool, and not too far from the Joshua Tree North entrance. Friendly staff. Wish the gym equipment wasn't so outdated, but not a big deal.

Nice. Try to get a unit that is NOT next to the highway. Nice laundry room with good choice of lending books and dvds. Owners are really nice. Weekend dinner and breakfast socials for reasonable cost.Wish the pool would open. Not their fault. California doesn't read CDC stuff that says covid is not transmitted in a pool...of course the crack in the pool didn't help either :(The dog run is fenced and secure and has shade trees on one side, but could use a little spring clean up. I'm sure it's on the list.Golf course next door is nothing to write home about, but a nice distraction and has good weekly food get togethers.Spots are a nice size and very adequate for bump outs. Be sure you wear shoes at all times...the goat heads are everywhere

Pull-thru spots are in what looks like an old run down parking lot with no shade. Drab cookie cutter modular homes are my view. Check-in was painfully slow, and I was warned that there would be no Wi-Fi service where I was assigned. No garbage cans nearby, no pet area near. My neighbor had to pull stickers out of her dog's paws and warned me to stay away from the weeded areas. The only sign directing you anywhere is where to pull in...no signs indicating what sites are where. The only bright spot was that I was able to maneuver my 38' motorhome towing a Tahoe easily into my site, but the site was too short so I had to unhook my tow car. I will not return here. All hook-ups are at the very back of the

It may be more of a personal thing that I don't like the "parking lot" feeling to places like this. Our site was a premium pull-through, and yet was treeless, no turf, bleak, and exposed in the middle of the park. Our views were of big rigs on either side of us. I would rather have had a back-in spot where there were a few palm trees, had I known, but I opted for what they billed as a premium spot which was actually less desirable, parked side-by side with huge big rigs all in a row. Pool and restrooms are nice, though the hot tub is indoors and therefore had a muggy indoor atmosphere. The lady who checked us in was cheerful and pleasant--a real delight! Staff people were nice, picked up your packaged trash at 9 am with a wave. If you're not going to spend any time there and use that as a base from which to visit JTNP, then this place serves you well. But we had much more fun and beauty with our trailer parked at Jumbo Rocks Campground than we had parked in a narrow slot of concrete and gravel at this place.

Bit of a dump. Washrooms not very clean and quite old. Sites are close together. Pool was filthy and we were told the hot tub was not working. Staff seemed unsure whether the water was drinkable/potable or not. Washrooms are locked between 10pm and 8 am so no chance of an early shower if you want to get going. We could have got a key for an extra $10 (not a deposit but an extra fee). Staff not particularly friendly. Only advantage is that it is close to Joshua Tree National Park if you prefer electricity and showers to the basic campsites in the park.

Really nice cottage (#27). Clean and cozy (cozy is not coffee for small - the kitchen and bathroom are huge!). Bed was firm but comfy. Couch was past its' prime. Otherwise, nice furnishings and kitchen stuff. Clean, fluffy white towels that smelled good. That says everything! A/C was nice and cold, heat worked great, too. (85 degree day, 41 degree night!) Would definitely stay here again. (Tip, head to Adobe liquor store, the Rib Co., the Jumbo Rock Cafe for breakfast & nitro coffee. You can get fully equipped for your stay.)

Highlights: meets basic RVer needs, office staff may irritate some people, partially graveled sites, regular sites have no shade or grass, nice pool/hot tub, only 3 miles to Joshua Tree NP.Considering other options in the area this is probably one of the best RV Park options. It s only 3.2 miles to the Twenty-Nine Palms entrance to Joshua Tree National Park and only about 2.5 miles to the visitors center. This RV Park meets all basic RVer needs, full hookups, 50amp, water at every site (with really good water pressure). The dump/sewer is at the back of each campsite so if your RV has sewer output/valves at the center or front you won t be able to hook up unless you have 35+ feet of sewer hose. There is a small wooden picnic table at each site. There seem to be 2 levels of sites regular and premium. The regular sites have no grass, plants, or trees. The premium sites have various sized trees (mostly small) and a few bushes. The staff seem to be pretty friendly, but the office was closed (during posted business hours) several different times and the attendant wasn t available some of the time. This is one reason I m giving 4 stars. When my husband went to checkout there wasn t anyone in the office at 10:20am. We were supposed to be checked out at noon and then at 11:00am someone started calling our cell phone and asking when we were going to be out of our spot. I should mention that the occupancy was probably less than 50% so it wasn t because they needed our site for an early check-in. I m very annoyed by Camp hosts and attendants who feel they must exercise the little amount of power that they feel they have and harass patrons - RVers know what I mean. The other reason I am giving 4 stars is because the fee was $45 and then they charged us an additional $17 for our kids. So not a very family friendly RV Park. In my opinion, RV parks that charge 10% or more per child aren t being genuine about the prices - they want to advertise low rates but then they have a 30% increase if you have a few kids.Nice covered pool and large hot tub, laundry, horseshoe pits, picnic areas, small store, and adjacent (brown) golf course. Roads are all paved, but the campsites are half gravel. We drove through several Joshua Tree National Park Camp grounds (not Black Rock or Indian) and there are very few campsites that will accommodate an RV longer then 25 feet. Additionally, unless you are familiar with the exact campsite in Joshua Tree NP, it is almost impossible to reserve a campsite and be sure it will accommodate an RV.

Great place to stay. It's clean, quiet, shady, and affordable. If you're wanting to go to JT National Park, the North Entrance is 10 minutes away and has almost no traffic. We will be staying here again!

We just stayed in one of the cabins at this campground. The layer of dust and grime on all of the surfaces was the easy issue to deal with. After disinfecting the entire place, I checked the beds for bedbugs before putting anything on them only to find hair all over the sheets. I was offered another cabin where the bedroom lighting was not sufficient to see a spider, let alone hair on the bed. Luckily was able to get clean sheets that I put on myself. The carpet and floors were disgusting so I would not let my kids to even walk around in socks, shoes stayed on at all times. One of the beds was in such crazy motion that my son was asking if this was a water bed. Not sure how it did not break and btw they are barely full (NOT Queen).Their accessible bathroom facilities were locked with a 4 digit code BUT are locked with a key lock overnight. If you need to go to the bathroom between 10pm and 8am you are out of luck. You can rent a bathroom key for $10 a night!!!! This is on top of paying $200 a night for a roach motel room.Staff had an attitude but did try to accommodate without any apologies as if all of the above is standard.Joshua Tree accommodations were a major bust and a big rip off!!!! The only saving grace is the location to the park.

Place needs work and tlc. Long overdue. Could be 5 star if some money put back in to it and could prob charge higher rates. Indoor pool roof deteriorated so torn off. Pool and hot tub being rebuilt for years now I'm told. Sad. Daytime traffic noise. Nice showers and mail and fitness room. Great location tho for the Marine Base 2 miles away.

My family and I rented a RV that we took to Death Valley and had plans to stay at another place around 29 Palms but we'll talk about them on their page. We called this place and although it was after hours, they advised on their recording that they had spaces available. We went by and sure enough, they had spaces. They have spaces that are closer and some farther out from the resort amenities like bathrooms, laundry and some odds and ends at their office/shop. As such in life, you'll pay more for a space closer to these amenities than spaces that are farther. What I love about this place: we were ready to find an abandoned placed to stay the night, but that would have been sketchy to say the least. Twentynine Palms RV Resort offered us the peace of mind we needed to feel safe, especially with this being our first time. There was a real sense of community here, we felt it after only one night.A neighbor to our space, a really nice guy named Dave, helped me to get acclimated to the hook ups (electric, fresh water, sewage), etc. He told me he's right next door in case I needed anything. He is originally from Oregon, so you know he's nice guy! This place is also very close to Joshua Tree NP's entrance, which was where we were headed. I don't know if my RV travels will bring me this way again, but if they do, I'll be sure to stop in at Twentynine Palms RV Resort.

For those who don't like hotels this is a pretty awesome alternative. We stayed in a regular 1 bedroom cabin. It was very clean. I cooked some simple things and had what I needed. There is even a propane grill that we utilized in the patio/yard area. The sales clerk was friendly and professional. It was one of the prettier places in town. It is right down the road from the Marine base. The pool and spa were very clean. Great place to crash land after hiking in Joshua Tree.

I'm sure I had an atypical stay here the day before NYE 2020. I checked in and none of the staff were wearing masks at all. We're in the midst of a pandemic and all the residents were wearing them and socially distanced in line but 4 staff members I saw in the office weren't. All were within 10 feet of customers at the time of the incident. During my entire stay, I only say one staff member who was a younger guy wearing a mask (whoever you are, thank you for valuing the lives of others!) Needless to say the masks were just one problem with my stay.So my husband and I went to our cabin (#34) and found it was super dusty and the trash from the previous guests had not been taken out. Not a deal breaker or anything major to call the front desk over. I picked this place because of the full kitchen. I prefer to cook over going to a ton of random restaurants. Everything worked fine up until the night before checkout. The toilet clogged when it was flushed so we used the provided plunger. At its next use, it overflowed. Sewage also came up in the adjacent bath tub and even the kitchen sink! Definitely had to call front desk over it; we put the bath towels down to dry the water from the floors and called. The night watch answered the phone and called the manager who couldn't get anyone to come out (it was NYE) but offered to leave the community bathrooms open overnight for us to access. Not the ideal solution but we were checking out in the morning, so I didn't really complain. Nightwatch wasn't in a position to change our cabin for the night, so we slept with the bathroom door closed and the fan on so the smell wouldn't leave the bathroom. I asked for extra bath towels so my husband and I could shower and hit the road; the night watch didn't even seem to know where extra bath towels were! I felt bad for him not being more empowered to handle guest issuess. I know he answers phones overnight but doing minor things like getting towels should/could be included in his duties, right? In the morning, we left before the office was officially opened (11a). I called to confirm we were able to drop keys in the after hours drop box. At that point, the young lady who answered the call did apologize for the mishap we experienced. My husband and I would love to visit Joshua Tree another time but will probably not rent a cabin here again. Just way too many fumbles from a 2 night stay here.Attached: pictures of the sewage that made our tub unusable and the dusty remote before and after I dragged a finger on it to show how much dust was on it.

We stayed here on the spur of the moment. I usually like to plan and research out every lodging we go to, but we got lucky with this gem. Very clean, comfortable, they definitely take pride in keeping it up. We were in one of the two bed cottages with 4 small kids. We had plenty of room and a little backyard facing the fairway. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean. Above average especially for the price we paid.

Great place to stay just a few miles from Joshua tree national park. Friendly and helpful staff got us setup after normal check in hours. Nice people staying there, too. Clean, nice restrooms, indoor spa and pool are great. We were just looking for a good last minute tent camping spot on our visit to Joshua tree national park and stumbled on this place. Having amenities like this close to Joshua tree is rare! Will definitely be back.
