If I could give 0 stars I would. These people are thieves. Will intentionally keep vehicle just to charge you more. Both the wife and husband that own this business are very very rude and disrespectful. Does not know the laws nor cares to understand how the laws work. Please do not EVER do business with these people. They are complete scammers! Obviously lots of people are having the same experience with the con people. This business should be shutting down. We will report them to the BBB as well!

Had to have the van towed somewhere after she failed to start on HWY 62. Bailey's said they could look at it, but not repair it same day, but at least they said they could look at it.Off the tow truck, we all pushed it into the shop. That was it. No voltage test at the starter. No bangin on the solenoid, etc to confirm my guess that it was a simple starter. The mechanic said he thought it was a broken tooth on the flywheel. I said if he really thought so, why not rotate the motor by hand to give the starter some purchase to test his theory. He refused.I was then quoted a high price. I asked if that would include a genuine Toyota starter. No, the cheapest model from AutoZone, one block away (!). (Non OE parts are a no-no for any pro mechanic in my book)Not feeling good about the price nor quality of proposed part, I asked that we push the van into the street for the night A) So I could sleep on it and B) So I could sleep in it.I decided to install a crumby AutoZone starter myself that evening. It took me 1 hour and 5 minutes on the nose, not the two hours Baileys wanted to charge, and no extreme mark up on the part, either. The real rub is that Bailey's charged me 125 bucks to pretend to diagnose it..I suppose there is some cash value for pushing the rig across the parking lot, but 125?You decide.

Couldn't have hoped for better. My starter died on a monday morning. They came and towed and completed the repair that day. Everyone I dealt with was professional and courteous. Even got some tips on good hikes in the area.

Paid over $2000 to fix my transmission for a '98 Dodge truck, which is understandable right?EXCEPT THEY BROKE MY SPEEDOMETER WHICH WORKED BEFORE I TURNED IT IN. Then they want to charge me for the part AND the repair. This isn't the first time where they've been negligent. This instance, out of the 4, was just the most significant. It's happened more than once.DON'T DO BUSINESS HERE.

Very impressed and grateful. Pulled in to their garage with a dragging undercarriage. They repaired the problem correctly with screws (second time this has happened other repair shop obviously did a temporary repair) and charged me a fair price. Thanks folks!Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Broke down in Joshua tree national park. AAA towed me to Bailey s Friday afternoon at about 4:45pm. I told them it was a fuel pump problem. They said they will do the diagnostic for $135 and if it was they would include that in to the repair cost. They were closed for the weekend and would look at it Monday morning. I called 3 times that day and they finally looked at it around 2pm. I get a call back at 4:53pm telling me it was the fuel pump, they would not roll the diagnostic fee into the repair and it was an additional $700 to fix. So I was stuck in a hotel all weekend waiting to hear back nothing but bad news. Called AAA again and got the van towed back to Torrance and repaired for cheaper than what they wanted. Yes the people were friendly. Just crazy expensive because you have no other choices. Not happy with the service and do not recommend them.

The staff are very friendly, they offered me a ride home and also back to the shop to pick up my truck. The price was more than fair for the work they did on my truck. The only downside is it took a bit of time to fix it but I think it's because they have so many vehicles and only so many guys there to do the job. I'm very grateful that I took my truck here. And another thing I don't know why there are so many bad reviews saying that they like to rip you off, they definitely did not rip me off. Thankyou Diane, and the other gentleman that worked on my truck

Car repairs are not cheap. My daughters best friend came down for a visit and her car died on the way. The diagnosis was not good, but the speed, concern and professional conduct allowed her to make decisions that will help her finish her journey. I recommend the Bailey family repair to anyone who needs it done right. Thank you for caring.

Hands down the worst business have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. My husband's car needed engine work done, and all other mechanics in town were too busy to get r done in a timely manner. Bailey's was the only place available (which, in hindsight, should have been a dead giveaway that they were awful). My husband dealt with them mostly at first, so I can not accurately say how they treated him while dropping off his car. The trouble arose on the last day of the two-week deadline they gave us when we had not heard from them regarding the condition or progress of the car. We called, and the mechanic working on it was apparently sick and would not be back for a few days. Once they gave us a new timeline, we brushed it off and waited. Once again finding ourselves reaching the deadline, we decided to call the day before our vehicle was due to be finished to check on its progress. They brushed us off saying that they needed to order a part to finish the work and it would be another week or so. I do not have a problem with delays; things happen. My problem was that they did not keep us informed. They did not bother to call to tell us that we would be out of a car for twice as long as they assured us. On top of all this, the car's check engine light came on less than two weeks after we finally got the car back. I called to make an appointment, and the receptionist answered the phone rudely. When I explained the issue she said that my husband should have read his work order stating that five extra oil changes were necessary every 500 miles. When I informed her that we had not driven 500 miles in two weeks, she continued to deflect blame and insist that we should have taken better care of the car. So, to sum it all up, we paid over $3000 to be out of a car for a month without a fix.

They were on point for towing and knew where I was on the BLM. When talking to their staff they were attentive, knowlegeble and able to identify the issue on my older vehicle. Tons of experience in that shop. The price provided was on point and reasonable. They had as fast as can be expected turnaround even with ordering parts out of town. When I was stressed their knowledge and confidence of the issue put me at ease.Wonderful BusinessI do recommend them and would return.

We were with a rental van which had low tires light. Bailey s Auto Repair checked and put air into our tires and would not charge us for the service. How nice!!! Thank you so much. You are kind and awesome.

Called this place to get my vehicle unlocked after locking my keys in. 30 second into the conversation the guy hangs up on me. After calling back 4 or 5 times the guy finally answers the phone and comes out to unlock my vehicle. I'm about 10 minutes away from these guys and they charge me a HUNDRED DOLLARS for maybe 5 minutes of time unlocking my vehicle. Terrible service, terrible pricing. Save your time and money, call someone else.

Great family business! Honest people. I see a lot of bad reviews. People get emotional about their cars. Take care of your car, auto repairs are expensive. I think people all too often get angry at the auto repair shop when they have to pay for repairs.

Worst place to go to. They don't keep you informed and they rip you off. They tried to replace and engine for an alternator problem. Marines stay clear of this garbage place.
