If you are looking for an Apple carplay or a dashcam, this is the must-place to go! Jimmy is a super professional technician who satisfied my OCD. There are no single scratches or damage during installation. The wires are wired up clean without any NVH. The installation was perfect. Unavi s Apple Carplay works like they were from a factory and all buttons are functioning without any issues. I ve tried several other aftermarket carplays before, but Unavi has the best product imo. Not only their products but also their best technician Jimmy and the best customer service by Collin was an amazing experience:) Thank you so much to Jimmy and Collin for the best service.

Great service, and super quality product!The guys at Unavi are fantastic, bought the product online, soon after text from the team at Unavi letting me know they had it in stock at their Tustin location. Was able to make an appt that fit perfectly. Went to the shop, once again fantastic customer service, dropped off my car and came back before closing to pick it up. Everything was installed properly, and they cared for my car like their own. Android Auto demo went great and they made sure I didn't have any questions and made sure I had all their contact info in case of need for support.Everything is working great... I highly recommend Unavi and the entire team!

Unavi Android Auto/Carplay works very well with my 2014 Mercedes S550. This is a very complicated vehicle, but the one issue I had with the system was quickly diagnosed and a setting adjustment made that makes it flawless. Highly recommended.

I ve had the Carplay/Android Auto module for my Q50 for a few months now, and it s great! Everything works perfectly, there is no lag (none more than the OEM system anyways), and the sound quality is great. I show off the AA feature on my video, but I ve tried Carplay as well and it works flawlessly too. For the DIY-ers, the installation is very similar to other modules on the market. Functionality wise, there s not much to say. If you ve used AA/Carplay before, it s just like that. Siri and google assistant work flawlessly as well. The audio output is AUX, which I was a little iffy about at first, but their wiring does a good job at reducing noise, so for me it sounds just as good as Bluetooth.The tiny speaker that goes behind the top screen does not sound good at all, but I personally have never used it intentionally (see cons for more on this). All my audio and calls go through the car speakers, but I do connect my phone via Bluetooth for calls to my car, so maybe that s why. The module allows for this without breaking any of the experience, and you can launch calls this way either using the module or the OEM car system.Overall, I would highly recommend this module over the other stuff out there.I have the very first version of this module, which is touchscreen only. All the OEM functions for the OEM system are preserved, but you can t use the rotary knob or steering wheel controls with AA/Carplay. The new recent module FIXES this. I haven t gotten it yet, but I know people who have, and they say that it works perfectly fine, with both the center console controls and the steering wheel controls. I ll probably upload another video of this once I get mine.Lastly, customer service with UNAVI is top notch. Their US team has been very responsive and helpful with all my questions. When I complained about the lack of physical control usability, they put me in touch with the Korean team directly who have now released a whole new module addressing this within a couple of weeks. Not to mention that they apparently work with Infiniti of Korea, so these products are pretty well tested and tried with Korean consumers.The pros for me over other modules:-It uses the car s OEM hardware for all audio (except for that tiny speaker I talk about above). No need to install some questionable quality microphone or have some random cheap control wheel sticking out of the dash.-It works very seamlessly. I don t have to do any weird boot up or worry about crashes. You just plug in your phone and you re good to go.-Customer service is great! They really seem determined to back up their products. Their headquarters in CA just makes this process so much easier too.-It utilizes the top screen, which is great since it s basically useless in the OEM system. The bottom screen works just like normal and is unaffected.-Overall, it just works like any other OEM AA/Carplay from other cars. There s no weird work-around or anything.Cons:-Every now and then, at startup, the module starts playing music off of the tiny speaker. This is a default when you select your audio source other than AUX while still trying to play music with the module. Twice now, it has played from the tiny speaker even though I set my audio source to AUX. This seems like it s an issue with the car system not switching correctly, but all I ve had to do is switch to radio and then back to AUX, which fixes it. I ve only had it happen twice and it s just a mild nuisance.

The Apple CarPlay UNavi product has been great in my 2015 Audi S5, and exactly what I was looking for! Technical Support is fantastic. They helped me with updating my firmware and pinpointed why my reverse camera wasn t switching off quickly when I went to drive/park- it was the dip switch 7 which needed to be set to On because I don t have a Parking Assist button.

I saw this company on an Internet forum. Did some research, and while they had a sale, decided to get in on the good deal. They did not disappoint! The product itself was a great addition to the vehicle. They were also very friendly and professional. I was in-and-out within an hour! VERY happy with their service and their product!

Contacted Unavi to find out if they had an Apple carplay unit for my 2017 Mercedes C300, Wow what service, not only did they have a unit but they came out to my home to fit it. Works flawlessly, fully integrated with Existing MB controls in car. Mercedes do not offer this on older models but Unavi came through. I am Very Happy with the overall deal and service - ask for Pedro!

I had UNAVI install the Apple CarPlay for Nissan Pathfinder 2017-2020 | Android Auto Update Module in my 2020 Nissan Pathfinder and it works great. I use Android Auto and it s convenient to access my navigation, music, and podcast apps through the touchscreen display of the car and not have to use my phone screen. Pressing the back button on the steering wheel allows you to switch between Android Auto (CarPlay) and all other Nissan screen functions (A/C, Radio, Settings, etc.). The system is seamless, and it doesn t affect the original Nissan touchscreen functions. It is literally an add-on. The sound from android auto is routed to the car speakers by pushing the AUX source button, and it uses the original microphone in the car for calls.UNAVI s customer service is fantastic. Their priority really is making sure the customer is happy, and the equipment functions properly. Pedro and Daniel are terrific. They are very friendly, helpful, and professional. I took it to their shop for the install and was kept up to date during the process. I highly recommend them and couldn t be happier with their product and the level of service they provide.

My dream comes true! My 2018 Infinity Q70 now has Apple CarPlay. I bought Apple CarPlay for INFINITI Q70 | Android Auto Update Module and installed it by myself on my car. It took me about 2 hours. Unavi provided me an Installation Manual for Professional but I used it successfully by following step by step. The video on their YouTube also is useful. I strongly recommend this product to anyone who owns an Infinity before 2019

Great product and their customer service is top notch! Pedro helped me and went above and beyond.I had a had a stereo shop improperly install my unavi that caused damage to the unit. Pedro got me the parts I needed and replaced them at no additional charge. This company really cares about their customers and shows that with their customer tech support. I recommend if you want to upgrade your factory radio and still keep that factory look and functions.

When I first got my Infinity Q50, I was extremely disappointed that it had no GPS Navigation system. It is a huge inconvenience to have to type my destination into my phone every time I had to go somewhere. When I booked an appointment with Unavi, I got an immediate response from their Team. On the day of my appointment, it was actually raining, however, that didn't stop them from installing the GPS on my car. They didn't mind at all that it was raining and was estimated to take 4 hours but only took an hour and half. They did an amazing job and came all the way from Tustin to Hollywood to install this for me. Great service, great staff, great results. Thank You.Christian Aleman

For anyone looking into a CarPlay or Google Auto system this is not the one. I ordered in October 2020 and had it professionally installed beginning of November 2020. Their site states that it is "99% similar to OEM", which isn't even close. Attached is an email I sent them with only some of the issues. The only way to operate the system is through the touchscreen of the car, you have no control of CarPlay functions through the steering wheel or the center console controls. The sound setup of the system also doesn't work properly. There is an internal speaker on the system that plays at a different time as the car system, so there is an echo effect you can hear at lower volumes. You also have to follow a sequence of plugging in your phone after the car is started, or the system doesn't function properly. I tried resolving all issues with the vendor, through multiple phone calls and emails, with no resolution other than to have them talk to a tech to try and resolve issues or for me to pay for them to send me a software update a month after I purchased the unit.After going through all of this and finally asking for a refund they updated their website to say no refunds offered for used products. Luckily I took screen shots that show they had no mention of refund policy on their site prior to my issue. So I'm supposed to look at the new product and be able to tell that it's faulty? They said that they would offer a refund with a 20% restocking fee. So I paid $150 for the install, it will be $50 for the uninstall, and then around $140 for the restocking fee, to get my car back to normal.Now it's not about the money anymore and all about the principle. I was sent a faulty product that didn't match what your website said, and then even over the phone they told me that the product doesn't do that, when I brought up functions that come on CarPlay.Communication started with them on Nov. 5, 2020 and as of today, Dec. 8, 2020 there has been no resolution.

Had UNAVI unit installed when purchased a new 2015 Hyundai Sonata. The unit has failed 4x over the last 3 1/2 years. The most recent, the system blew out and the screen is black, with no back up camera working. I contacted Unavi. Pedro, the owner, is now giving me the run around. He keeps stating he needs to talk to Korea and claims it must be a factory issue with Hyundai. It's not a factory issue, as the recent problems developed after the last attempted repair.Even though Pedro is blowing me off, I asked him to just give me a new knob as the silver ring vanished after last repair. When I picked up the car, the knob was glowing bright blue. I thought that was normal, but a few days later my son noticed it was missing the ring just like the knob on the right has. Pedro is now refusing to even replace the knob.Terrible experience with Pedro and Unavi in Santa Ana.i told him just give me a new little knob and I'll leave his store. His answer was, "I'm Going To Call The Police". Since he said that, I'm just gonna sit here and let the cops come drag me out. What horrible service and awful way to treat a customer who spent hundreds of dollars for a working unit.

This place deserves 20 stars the customer service is impeccable. I had an issue with my camera and Pedro went above and beyond to fix the issue he even came down to my job to look and troubleshoot the issue. I really enjoyed doing business with them they return calls within minutes and truly care about the customer. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a dashcam, or installation

Wow! Amazing service! Super friendly, they did everything with perfect service even took us to a shopping center to wait while our installation was getting done! Overall you won t find better! Super good customer service as well, if your looking for anything CarPlay related too, this is a great place to contact, but for anything you need done, they are definitely the ones for the job, even gave an awesome quick guide! My INFINITI Q50 got a better feature! Installation work was great and their service also good! I recommend this navigation system. I'd like to Carplay retrofit in here, too. They said it launching soon.

I once had a hit n run and realized how important having a dash cam is to prevent any further incidents. Therefore I got the dash cam from unavi by my friends recommendation and it is just as I wanted. I like how i can check recorded videos through my phone.

CarPlay installed in my 2017 Infiniti QX60 and Purchased from UNAVI , set my appointment ,I was a couple minutes early they started taking care of me right away , the device integrates perfectly and actually no lag while watching videos on my phone , automatically goes back and forth from my reverse camera , installation was done and amazing customer service , if I could give 10 stars I would , I recommend anyone to get this update to your QX60 from UNAVI

after buying a leftover 2020 QX60 i discovered that my KIA's were more technologically advanced than the brand new QX60 I purchased... SO...Searched for an answer to provide me with car-play capabilities in my new luxury ride.... (yeah this shouldn't be a thing but it is - Infinity is finally getting on the ball and onboard with the actual data assistants people use and want - ie they are finally putting car play in their vehicles (just not mine) So that left me with the Ol' interwebs and a trusty Google search... Found a few offerings but the Uni-Nav system stuck out as it maintains the look of the interior and functionality of the original system - as well as the ability to return to factory should you choose..... Uni-Nav customer service and responsiveness were 2nd to no one and they offered any help I may need to find an installer on the east coast. Turns out the tutorials and instructions are very comprehensive and installation was achieved with no problems - couldn't be happier unless it was included when I bought the car... Q/Q

Bought a monitor for my 2013 hyundai genesis coupe with almost 1500$ , poor quality over all... you hace to touch hard some times so the monitor responds, it was never easy 2 install and the software always hanging...recently my screen went off and i called them they say its out of the warranty...its not worth the price and you can do much better monitor with half of their price and much easier way to install
