Today, I noticed a strange noise from my car's engine, so I started looking around for help and ended up here. Since I don't know much about cars and am a woman, I was worried that I might end up spending unnecessary money at such places. Despite not having an appointment today, they were willing to do a test drive for me, who needs to leave for Utah tomorrow, and managed to find and fix the problem. I wanted to tip them for their exceptional service, but they refused, saying that it's against company policy to accept tips. They were genuinely dedicated, kind, and honest with their service, leaving a great impression on me. I highly recommend this place to many women who are worried about car issues.

Little pricey (e.g. $160 diagnostics), but very good service with friendly staff. They even give you a video showing you around what they've found on your car.

My car was signaling a low pressure tire, I came in to the shop next door but the wait was over 4 hours. I came in here and they said 15 mins so I was hooked. Everyone was nice and polite. They even checked out other stuff in the car when all I needed was a tire repair!! My first visit here was a great one. I will be coming back if I ever need to.

Rudy is very knowledgeable and helpful. Had work done here before and they detail the repairs needed and send a video of the problems.

On my first visit to Irvine Auto Care they seem to really care about customer trust. Before I was charged for anything I was sent not only an itemized work authorization request form which detailed the work needed to be done, it s urgency, and cost, but I was also sent a video about the state of my vehicle which detailed what is working and what isn t. I will be back for future auto work as long as this kind of service remains the status quo.

Went to just tires for a tire repair. Waited 2 hours, didnt even look at my car yet. Went next door to Irvine Auto Care. Took care of everything in 15 mins. Friendly kind courteous and quick.

Best mechanic we have been to!! They are kind, honest & priced fairly.They sent you a video of your car, very detailed telling you each thing, & showing you everything that needs attention. Then you check off what you want done. They almost always get it done same day!! Always service with a smile!!

Service is good and fast. I had my car engine oil change and brake service. The staff was patient to explain detail to me. Price is reasonable.

I've had many great experiences here! They treat you well and give you a video walkthrough of your vehicle to allow for informed choice when approving additional cost. They have been unable to help only once (tires) and didn't charge me despite putting my car in the lift.

I can t say enough good things about Irvine Auto Care! We had an out-of-town visitor from Utah with a bad alternator, and they got us up and running quickly and really saved the day! They even made sure that the tires were properly filled and the fluids topped off so that our young visitor could make it home safely.THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

Thoroughly pleased with this team and their work! Prompt, professional and communicative throughout the process, my car has run beautifully since IAC worked on it a few months ago. I had to, due to an emergency, drop it off after hours with a note and hope for the best. Yelp reviews were all I had to go on, and I am so grateful. When the time comes, we will definitely be returning to patronize this trustworthy business. Thank you Irvine Auto Care!

These guys were great, I was a little concerned going to a shop alone as a young woman but they made me feel very comfortable! I had a noise I wanted checked out, the guys got me in very quickly and diagnosed the sound. I had a great experience at this auto shop. John provided great customer service. They were extremely fast at delivering the service. In less than an hour they changed my battery and did the oil change. And they don't overcharge! Extremely happy with this place. Will definitely use it again if needed.

Awesome customer care and honest repair shop. John and his staff were courteous and took the time to explain diagnoses and fixes clearly. My recent Infiniti rear brake job and Toyota Avalon wiring damage from rats and oil leak were all completed quickly with high repair quality at very reasonable costs. I'm extremely happy to have found this place.

I went to Irvine Auto Care based on their good reviews, and they lived up to their reputation. John was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful. They had me take a test drive with their technician, Rudy. He listened and asked questions to pinpoint what the problem could be. Both Rudy and John were very professional and assured me that safety is their number one priority. After a thorough check, they determined nothing was wrong with my car As someone that knows little about cars, this impressed me the most. I'm always afraid of being taken advantage of and being scared into work that my car really doesn't need. My car is an older model and I would have believed it if they told me it needed work done. I'm so glad I found a place that has integrity and spared me unnecessary expense. I will use them again.

Look no further! These guys are AWESOME!When we first moved to SoCal from North Cali, we needed an honest mechanic like we had in North Cali for years.John with Irvine Auto Care is it! They are honest and know what they are doing. Very professional and give their honest opinion on what they would do if it was their vehicle. We are raving fans of Irvine Auto Care and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to family and friends (which we already do).

Went to get my oil changed Saturday, 2/28. Drove my car home, found that I was having an issue with the steering. I called them, they came to my office, got the keys to my car, went to my home & got my car, took it to their shop, found the "minor issue", they fixed it (with no charge), brought my car back to me at my office & were extremely polite & professional. I love Irvine Auto Care. They didn't want me to have to take a day off of work. I recommend them to everyone.

Having to admit I screwed up when I installed the rear wheel hub assembly, I found IRVINE AUTO CARE, explained my situation, and with in minutes, the team had my van in the air and quickly found my mistake and just as quickly fixed and had me on my way within 1 hour. If I'm ever in the area, I will definitely use IAC. I would of payed 3x's what they charged me, just for the simple fact of, their quickness to address the problem, but seriously the price was more then INCREADBLY FAIR & REASONABLE.THANK YOU GUYS!

Am updating my review upwards to 3 stars. This is because the owner reached out to me twice and explained some of the services that were done.One of these clarifications was that the fuel system cleaning was more than a flush (induction/ throttle body clean). I understand it a little better now but am still unsure if it was really required.My car has been running fine since the visit and I have no complaints against the workmanship.--------------------1 Star:This place recommended 'several' unnecessary maintenance items on my 12 year Accord that was running just fine. A fuel system 'flush' was done where infact a fuel system 'cleaning' was described. I realize now that both these items are anyway a waste of money especially when nothing is wrong with your car.A tuneup - spark plug change, air conditioning filters and windshield wipers were also recommended. All I went in for is an oil change/ rotation and some of these additional parts were replaced at the appropriate schedules already.Another example of how these guys are just out to over-charge you is currently displayed on my window: the next recommended oil change per these guys is 3000 miles. That is simply unnecessary for most modern vehicles, please review your owners manual ( my 05' Accord for example has a 5000 to 10,000 mile interval).And finally at the risk of sounding petty, they did not call me when the car was ready to be picked up and when I showed up Mr.Front Desk acted like he was seeing me for the first time.They may not be the only establishment with these practices, but please carefully scrutinize all the extras that are being tacked on. John and Jeff irvine auto care john are the best. Their team is friendly ,nice, well skill and reasonably priced.. They've been in this area for over 20 years and if you aren't using them for your car services you should be..

Honest service. Had an issue with smoke coming out from the hood. John took a quick look and immediately identified the problem. He determined I'd be able to keep driving, but would need to eventually replace the part. Thank you.

Great service and honest work performed. Have referred many friends here.This company and their employees bend over backwards to meet the needs of their clients. They do everything they can to work with the needs and time frame of their customers. They also go out of their way to make sure that their customers are happy with their service.

Found these guys through Internet searches. Moved back to CA and needed to have them look over my Crown Vic for charging issues. Jeff (Geoff?) was very knowledgable and friendly, and even aired up my tires for me. Great guy and will definitely go back!

I've always got a good service. Great communication with John, and all of members are kind as well as relatively cheaper than others. Tips,, the shop is always busy so that an appointment is necessary!

Honest and super friendly! They have been taking care of our cars for 10+ years and I have recommended them to family and friends. Very trustworthy and never try to over sell.
