I couldn't be more impressed with this shop. Took a chance having a Toyota Sienna serviced in a town I don't live in, and a shop I don't know from a road trip fail. These folks were so honest, compassionate, and showed grace. They have a couple signs in their office referring to faith. Sammy helped me. This man is a living example, through his actions, of the faith they publicly display. It's always disappointing to see people display Crosses, Bible verses, etc and seem to not attempt to live what they proclaim. This man blessed me and recharged my faith in mankind. Thank you Sam, you and I both know what you did for Vanessa, and I totally appreciate it!! Too bad I live 2.5 hours away otherwise I'd bring all my vehicles to you Sir.

One of the absolute best places to take your car for repair off of the 99 fwy. I agree w/ other reviewers, friendly, efficient & excellent servicing your car.Coming down 99, went thru 4-5 construction zones, well, just a bit S of Turlock, pylons / cones messed up, everywhere & one in the middle of the roadway, could not dodge it (cones on the left, gravel on the right), went over it, messing up the radiator. So, watch those F'ing cones!

Took my vehicle in because of an oil leak and was quoted $1000 because of having to remove transmission to get to rear main seal. Understandable and proceeded with the estimate. Once it was finished, looked like no oil leaks but now the low oil level sensor was damaged and was displaying on my instrument cluster. They said they'll replace the part but had to bring in the vehicle, AGAIN. A week later the part came in and they replaced the sensor. Picked up vehicle and about a week's time I've noticed drops of oil accumulating on my garage floor. I called and told the shop about it, so they said bring it in AGAIN so they can take a look at it. They were saying it was coming from top of intake manifold area and would need to be taken care of (i.e. trying to up-sale more parts/labor). I finally took it to the local dealership and they fixed the small oil leak coming from a bad gasket seal from the sensor that Turlock Auto Service replaced. I'm not happy I had to pay $1000 to take care of something that never got fixed. I will be going elsewhere for future repairs.Also, those times I tried and drop my vehicle off first thing in morning, because of my work schedule they are always late. Hours of operation say 8:30am but they never showed up until close to 9am. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!**UPDATE TO RESPONSE**Your response is not correct. I came in thinking my oil pan was leaking, which it was, and ask if you can replace it. I was then told the rear main seal was ALSO leaking so that's what you quoted me for parts and labor. I then replied to do what you have to do to stop the oil leaks and I was assured this will fix it. Let me know note that the first time I picked up the vehicle when gaskets were replaced, I had NO oil leaks. But since the oil level sensor still had to be done, it started to leak AFTER the sensor got replaced. I attached photos to clarify what I am describing.

I take all 3 of my cars there Sammy and his dad and brother are great. I took my Mercedes there and it needed a lot of work. Come to find out Sarge did a great job on my car and I have taken my other cars there for little things. Also, the whole staff is very friendly professional. Taking your car to a garage is never a fun experience. You hope to get in and out quickly, and at a reasonable price. AAA recommended and offered to have my vehicle towed here. They took my vehicle the same day, and got it back to me later that day. It's getting hard to find that. Nice people. Professional.Service: BatteryService: Battery

Had my brakes and rotors done here for my Honda Pilot. I was as helped by Sammy. They completed the job within 2 hours. Great service, decent price, and great workers.Paid about $500 something to get the brakes and rotors replaced. Brakes work well and I'm not getting any vibration when I'm braking on the freeway, so that tells me they replaced my rotors. I recommend this mechanic shop!

Sammy is one of the best mechanics I know, he is an honest person that really loves what he does. His dad is also very professional with everything they do. I ve taken my car for oil changes, brake changes, and he s found mistakes that a Honda dealership messed up on. I had been having issues with my vehicles breaks and tires after going to a few other places here in town only to be told it would cost 1400 to 1600 for what I needed done. I contacted Turlock auto services and they asked me to bring the car in so they could have look. At this point they had no idea of any other quote, but they were able to take care of my vehicle for a much more reasonable price. Quality to products and workmanship are top notch.

I usually don't rate anything but I loved this mechanic. I have a 2014 Scion Fr-s under full warranty and the dealership was blaming aftermarket parts for a shutdown I had on highway 99. My car kept shutting down and the dealer wanted 700$+ for the fix but I took it to this mechanic and they give me a real diagnostic and they even showed it to me for proof, and it turns out it was a dead battery. They were super friendly and actually fixed the real problem of my car ASAP. Definitely going here for all future services.

Took a 99 Honda in that was making some noise, at first they didn't find a problem, after we were able to recreate the noise they immediately noticed that the alternator was bad. The price was very reasonable and it was finished in about 3 days. When I picked up my car they noticed an oil leak so I will most definitely be back to take care of that. Thanks again Sam.

My battery and alternator went out when I went to visit my Aunt. I could have never asked for a better business to work on my car. Sammy was such a sweet man and his dad was wonderful, they had my car fixed within a few hours and they were so reasonable on their prices. If I lived close I would use them for all my cars, unfortunately I live in San Leandro. For anyone in the area I would highly recommend them.

Took in 200 Chrysler. Checked breaks, tune up. Reasonable price for type of vehicle. Will continue to bring my cars. Next day service. Love it. Thank you. Will recommend to friends and family

Bought my 2006 Dodge Charger from the owner. Great guy. Actually taking said car in for some maintenance today. If your looking for a good mechanic, with fair prices, you definitely need tk make this your first stop.

They helped me in a pinch, I was in town from Texas for a week and my clutch was slipping bad, couldn t get a part from anyone in town but they made phone call after phone call for me and got the part delivered next day and worked around the New Years holiday to get it done the day after that. They even didn t want me to have to spend too much on a flywheel that was overpriced so they got me out of doing that. I would send anyone here in a heartbeat, you ll be in good hands.

This is a very reliable mechanic shop. I've never had an issue with them. I love that they are very friendly and respectful towards their customers. Every time I go to their shop I always have an enjoyable conversation with the front office people.

We pulled into my in-law s place in Hilmar right as our Odyssey lost complete power on a Friday afternoon. I called the nearest dealer to help me troubleshoot and possibly set an appointment to repair, but due to Covid-19, their service department was on reduced hours and not open weekends. I called Turlock Auto and the owner, Sammy, narrowed down the problem over the phone (bad alternator) and made arrangements to receive it and get the repair done. We had the van at their shop that evening and they finished the diagnosis turned out they were completely right about the alternator. We had originally planned our trip to be just over the weekend and Turlock Auto ordered the part and made the repair the next day to keep us on our original vacation timeline. Brought three of my car's hear way overcharged mechanic spent total of 30mins on it , nothing completed,told to leave the car and maybe complete it next day, I couldn't do that so I decided to just pay them for the 30 minutes... are you ready for this ***200dollars***Times are tough but charging that much for a half-hour at most broken down 3-5mins at a time is far from Honest or Right absolutely nothing done on the car, when they realized I was not leaving the car there...hear comes this reduclus Bill . The repair anywhere you call is a two hour job . I got charged 200 for 30min of nothing car is in my driveway now still disassembled Can't feel right about taking people's hard earned money especially in the middle of a pandimic when nothing worth $200 was done just don't add up.

Absolutely nothing like a family owned mechanic shop!! They stand behind their work and im much appreciative of that. I took my silver 2014 Accord Sport and as something as simple as an oil change, the take care of it immediately. These people know how to run a business.

Hands down best auto repair shop in townWent to few different shops that were wanting to charge for a head gasket. So i figured let me try one more place. They got me in right away checked my car and called and said all it needed was a oil cooler that was bad causing the oil to mix with coolant making you think its a blown head gasket witch it wasn't thank you turlock auto service you are the best!
