I only gave one star because I'm upset with there performance and communication on my last visit. My third brake light was out on the cab of my truck and they replaced the bulb. When they removed the whole light housing from the cab of the truck, either they damaged the seal or neglected to tell me that the seal was bad. I left out of town for a week. During this time, it had rained. When I entered my truck, the headliner was soaking wet at where the third brake light sat on the cab. I notified them of this right away. When I got back in town, I called to see if they could look at it. Once I got there, I showed them the headliner, and the manager said that it could be coming from anywhere, possibly my sunroof. I disagree with him being that the water damage indicated its coming from the opposite side of cab light. He removed it and said there was nothing wrong. So I asked if I can inspected it right there with him and he got irritated. The seal around the light housing had a rip in it like the tried prying housing from cab. I brought this to his attention and he got loud with me. There was chipped paint on outside of cab where 3rd brake light is located. He said looks like you had damage previously there. Right then I knew he is trying to avoid trying to help me out with the problems his location has caused me. I asked him what can he do to make it right. He said "I'll give you owners business card" you can contact her. I said ok, I appreciate it. He then comes back with a business card with only a phone number to the Turlock location. There was a email address that says turlockspeedelube and a name that said owner. So I questioned him on this and he said that he will take down my name and number and have her contact me. So I sent a email that was provided to me. I have had nobody contact me or no reply to the email. I had to replace light on cab due to more rain, which is around $150. Also, my headliner is still stained with water spots and discoloration. Not to mention the paint on my cab around light housing. I took pictures of everything on-site with the manager present. Since I've replaced light, no more damage has occurred to headliner. If there was any problem during installing a $10 light, I would have told them to replace it. But they failed to notify me and damaged my paint on cab and headliner of my vehicle. I feel they should be responsible for this. That's why we have them do the work. After noticing this, I checked to see if they change my oil filter when changing the oil. What I'm saying is if they are making mistakes and doing shortcut on stuff you can see, what about the stuff you can't see. I will try to attempt to contact them again on this situation. But unfortunately, they just might be bad to do business with from here on out.

I don t normally write reviews but I had such great customer service I had to share. Needed an oil change and radiator flush. Staff was helpful, friendly and very speedy. In and out in less than 40 minutes. I will definitely be back. So nice to find a trustworthy mechanic finally.

Great service. Quick and felt like they communicated with me about other services for my 70k miles SUV. I'm always nervous oil places will try to upcharge, but not here! The staff was attentive and shared necessary details to help me choose which services were worth it- given my car age amd mileage.I'll definitely be back

Great care replacement of water pump. But when I left and drove around 5 miles I had a major problem with the engine. I drove cautiously and the manager said he knew exactly what the problem was. He said the mechanic didn't run it long enough after the repair. He was absolutely correct. Haven't had another problem.

I have two cars, both 2007, one is a Ford Escape that I bought new and the other is a Chrysler PT Cruiser that I bought from my Dad in 2018. I've been taking both to SpeeDee for oil changes, etc. for several years and never had an issue.I keep all my old records, and when I had my PT oil changed on 8/25/23 (98K miles) at the Ceres location, they recommended a change of transmission and power steering fluids, so I approved that. But when I put that receipt in my records, I noticed that the oil change on 2/23/23 (95K miles) at the Turlock location, they changed the transmission fluid.So...3000 miles between transmission fluid change? This was not just adding fluid, but a flush at about $80...each time.Silly me, I took the PT to the Turlock location 11/14/23 (103K) for an oil change, and they recommended a power steering flush and change...I trusted them and didn't question it, so now I've had the power steering flush 3 months and 5000 miles apart.I know it's my responsibility to keep track of those things, but I won't be going back to SpeeDee...I can never trust their recommendations again, since I've been scammed twice by them now. I don't know if maybe there was a change in management or something, this didn't happen prior to 2023.

Had a great experience there! Brought in my 2006 F150 for an Oil change and a problem with my AC! Nick was amazing and SUPER knowledgeable.Dawn at the cashiers office was full of helpful information. My truck has never ran better!! I can thank the team enough for helping a woman who doesn t understand cars.The pricing was good, I called around other shops and these guys were less than everyone around! I WILL be back!!Services: A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Was told an hour for a smog. Waited 55 mins while other cars were in and out. My truck still wasn't touched. Went to asked how much longer and was told about 35 mins with no other explination. Grabbed my keys and left.

An oil change and smog check place! Unlike the nearby jiffy lube they actually do smog checks. The also have the free coffee like jiffy lube used to do before the pandemic. Also a free charging station for your phone with apple and Samsung cords! 2 thumbs up! My new oil change place!

I hate to have to leave this review but I feel it's important the public is aware of an issue as serious as this one I faced :A few months ago I had my back brakes replaced by the shop, but recently started to hear strange sounds when braking, as well as over extension in the brake pad.Due to limited time and distanceI had to take my car to another shop for an inspection, as my car was struggling to brake completely.It was brought to my attention that one of the back brakes had been installed incorrectly and part pieces had come undone to where the brake was scraping against the drum and causing gradual damage. It was a danger to my life and to others to be on the road with the brakes in this state, which is an extreme shock.Although I should of reached out to the shop regarding a warranty period, I spoke with the office manager regarding this issue and felt the severity of the situation was completely disregarded, just because I had to have another shop take a second look at it.I did not have a way to have the car towed to this location (I live an hour away), let alone why would I trust a place who severely failed the first time to try to fix it again.Sadly I do not feel comfortable to have work done on my car here again, never had any issues with numerous oil changes and to put my trust into something as serious as a brake repair and have my life and others put in jeopardy is not acceptable.

This was my first time here using this company and this location. As an Executive Officer of a business, it is refreshing to see the employees step up and take pride in their business. I want to especially mention Thomas. Thomas was professional, thoughtful and most of all is proud of his work. Prices are high, and when they recommended additional service which I agreed with ND asked them to complete, they said our car would have to go to the back of the line and start the wait all over again!!!!

Will never go back called ahead and they said it would be the baisic fee they charged me 260$ for a f%king oil change and I called ahead of time for a quote of 60 sum sdollers I even informed them if like I needed to bring in extra oil oil what it would be for my vehicle and spoke to a manage before hand. Don't waste your money here. Ignorant people working that can't give an accurate estimate over the phone and then they will tell you that they can drain the oil and you can tow it home if you try and argue prices !Service: Oil change

I waited 2 hours while the employees chatted with each other and took their time. Once I complained it took them 15 minutes top to do my oil change.I won't return.

Bad customer service and rude. Also lied about prices. Have 2 quotes, weird, and their story changed 2x about why they had to change my original quote. Ended up doing the work myself over the weekend and that's when I learned they lied. They just wanted more money of course. And yes, this was the west Monte Vista one next to kfc and a&wEdit: it has been almost a year since coming here. The original problem they said I had and needed to fix was definitely incorrect. I haven't had any of the problems that they said I was about to have. Do not go here!!

I'm consistently impressed by the professionalism exhibited by the crew and staff here. I bought a used vehicle with 89k miles on it and found it was running a little rough accelerating from a stop. I took it to them to ask about the 100k mile service and they honestly told me that the vehicle I had purchased was reliable and did not need the service until 100k miles, and they refused to do it early or take my money. It's hard to find a business willing to do the right thing and turn away business when it isn't needed, particularly in the post-covid world. You earned my loyalty.

They typically do a good job. I've been going here for my oil changes for a few years now and haven't really had any issues. The only bad experience I had was when they changed a belt on my car, it got shredded like 3 days later and I had to take the car to a mechanic shop to be fixed. But the oil change game is a good turnaround and the price is similar to other shops.

I usually go there for an oil change service....I always get an excellent service....at this places thank you guys .also, they do provide other services, and they told me about other issues on my vehicle on they 17 point of inspection process they have. I feel safe to know i have my vehicles on their hands for the services they provide .

Been going here for over 10+ years! I take all my cars here. They are Friendly, Professional and very knowledgeable. Manager is usually out helping too. I have came in to have my fluids checked before road trips and they inspect car, check and fill fluids as a courtesy. Thank you Speedy!

Had an issue with my Battery and or alternator and as busy as they were and it was getting late in the afternoon too but they went out their way to test everything and solve the issue. Thank you very much! Excellent service is rare in today's world. Definitely earned my business.

The staff is almost creepily friendly and attentive. The fact that that trips my sensors probably says something about me...Anyway-- professional and knowledgeable group working here. Nice guys who seem to genuinely want to help your car work properly. They don't seem to upcharge the way I've seen some other places do lately.Overall, a very pleasant experience (for having to fork out money to keep my car running).
