Fast, and quick service especially for not having an appointment. I got a oil change on one vehicle right when they opened only waited, maybe 20 minutes. Then brought back another vehicle, and they got my smog and recharged my ac all within an hour. Everyone there was friendly! I'll be back for future car needs

My girlfriend recently had her car serviced here. The performed a front brake service oil change and a few other things. They also recommended a rear brake service to the tune of $600 as the pads were at 4 mm. Luckily she declined said service because because upon removal of the brake pads I found they were at 7mm and the rotors looked fine with there being no pulsation in the brake pedal at speed. The only conclusion is that this shop is using inexperienced techs or outright ripping people off for extremely easy unneeded services. Luckily it s not my car or bar would be getting involved.

Professional, courteous, ethical--just the type of service you want but unfortunately don't receive too often in today's society. Their pricing is fair and very competitive. They are thorough and don't take forever to get the job done. The employees are professionals and courteous. I'm so glad I found them. I highly recommend Balswick's on Golden State in Turlock.

I had an issue with the metal splash shield under the front of the car. I took it in and they replaced the screws and made sure it was secure. Great customer service. Repair was done in a timely manner. I ve had oil changes on my 2 cars. Again great service I would definitely return.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Always easy in and easy out. I have a fleet vehicle and the information is already on file. Nice people and you can tell they enjoy their job. The work always appears to be of quality.

My husband has been going to Balswicks for years taking multiple cars there for service. Oil change is speedy with added features of tire rotation, air check and fluid top off. We have always been satisfied with service and friendliness.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

An honest place, I thought I needed shocks replaced and was told that they were ok. They were heavy duty shocks which made my pickup ride a bit rougher since I wasn't hauling a cperbi used to own. I also had a radiator flush done. The price was very fair! I recommend this business

Estimate started at $750 to repair exhaust leak. Two days to get part. After two days they (Frank) called and told me they got the wrong part and now it was going to cost $1470 and three more days. After three more days they (Frank) called and said they got the wrong part AGAIN and it was going to cost more. $548 in car rental and still no repair! These guys (Frank) are absolutely incompetent. Stay away at all cost. Horrible place to take a vehicle! STAY AWAY!Service: Auto exhaust system repair

I had to update my previously posted 5 star review because now I unfortunately no longer feel the same. I always loved Balswicks and this business has been great to me over the years, but since new ownership, it's horrible. Brent the new owner refused to talk with me about my concern and then after I called multiple times to request to speak with anyone they refused to abide by my tires' warranty. I've gone here for at least 5 years for all of my car's needs but with unprofessional ownership now, I'll never go back.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto brake repair, Tire rotations, Auto tire replacement, Oil change

Not a single person in the offices was wearing a mask. There must have been 20 people in the room. The serviceman was very nice, professional and courteous as well as the cashier. I am new to the area and came here on recommendations from many coworkers. They finished my alignment fast and the price was reasonable. I noticed there isn t even a sign on the door requiring a mask.Service: Wheel alignment

They were great but couldn't fix our car. They didn't charge us for anything which was kind and they truly did try there best. They seemed like some pretty straight up folks over there. I'd bring my cars to them again.

I took my 2016 Toyota highlander in for an oil change like i have before and it was great i just love how nice everyone is. They are a great group of men and women who know how to run a business. I will forever take my cars there as long as they are honest. That is so hard to find with most mechanic shops.

I have gone there twice, first for a single new tire and then to buy 3 new tires. They will get your tires done ASAP. My parents have gone there before, many times also for minor and major work. Will be going back in the future.I had my vehicle worked on at another shop and they couldn't fix it, I brought it to Balswick's and they fixed it. They put a new engine in, the other guys couldn't figure it out.Nov 21, 2022 First come first serve, go early in the morning for faster service, or better yet make an appointment the day before. I need an alternator and I am sure my vehicle will be ready by 4pm.

Best in town. The professionalism of each associate is what shines here. You're treated with respect and will not be taken advantage of by use of shady marketing tactics like other maintenance shops. My family has used Balswick's for the past 10 years after finding them to be the most consistent/respectful shop around. We most recently had an old 08 Accord serviced by Balswick's; nothing special about this car, but the time was taken to throw in a complimentary car wash before I picked up the vehicle. Going above and beyond sets them apart. Give them a shot!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Brakes

Very friendly employees seems to do a great job on servicing my car. Had oil change 2 weeks before. If you do go to have your oil changed asked for CODY very polite, respectable young man.

I had ordered Goodyear tires straight from the Goodyear website and chose Balswick's as my tire installer. Turned out to be a good choice since they were courteous and quick. The initial process of bringing my car in wasn't lengthy and full of upsells like it is at America's Tires, so that was a definite upside to trying a new installer. I was also able to wait in the waiting area with plenty of social distancing space and A/C which I really appreciated. Overall good experience and I recommend it to anyone who likes it straightforward & to the point without the worry that they are trying to upsell you on things you don't need.

I seriously have to say this place is amazing. I had went to Walmart to get an oil change and they denied me due to a Oversized oil plug damaged part and basically brush me off. I went to balswick to see if I can get the part fixed and they did! They were able to get it out place a new one and do my oil change for a decent price! I will be coming back again and I will be referring others to come here as well. I m highly satisfied and definitely appreciate all that they do.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Great customer service. Came here for a tire repair after I took my vehicle to another place across town that told me my tire was not repairable and topped it off with telling me I needed all new tires on a 2 year old vehicle. Balswicks was able to repair my tire, no problem! Was a pleasant experience being 9 weeks pregnant, grumpy and having 3 kids in tow. Thank you for your great service, I will definitely return for future needs.

I have been here several times to get auto repair and always left a happy camper. One time I went in about a horrible noise my car was making. It sounded like my engine was going to fall out. One of the mechanics said a motor mount was on upside down and he flipped it real quick. Charged me nothing! However, Some prices are a bit more compared to other shops. You get what you pay for.

I needed a wheel alignment for my truck. They said the steering wheel will be upsidedown and we can only align the toe at full price. TF! A wheel alignment requires the steering wheel to be straight adjust the camber, toe, and caster. Also too expensive $150 Jay's tires did it for $90 and did what balswicks couldn't or didn't know how to do

Have gone here for over 20 years. They've always been honest with and are willing to work with me when it's out of budget. They talk me through what needs to be done and let me decide. Great service great work.

Rudest customer service. Tried to charge for parts I know I didn't need. Got the job done for half the price of their estimate from a reputable company with a lifetime warranty. This is the second time we've gone to them. Last time they wanted $1100 for a job that I got done for $150. Will not recommend them, or go back to them again.

I've been getting my oil changed here for over a year now and I have always been treated well. They take care of my car and explain everything everytime. I drive 6 hours at least twice a month and my car still runs strong thanks to their honest service!

Make sure to get a second opinion before agreeing to have them do any repairs. According to balswicks I needed a $388.00 repair in order to achieve alignment, however I knew this couldn t be right since I had recently repaired what they said needed repairing. I took it to golden state tire and 45 minutes later my truck was aligned without having to do any repairs first. I m glad I took it elsewhere because I m much happier having spent $50.00 versus $388.00.

I would not wish such an unpleasant experience on anyone. When you walk in this place, these guys come off like you walked into unwelcomed territory. The tall bald guy in the office gives you a cold stare the second you walk through the front door, has a bad attitude and is argumentative when serving customers. This specific person is clearly not held accountable for his actions nor his poor service by anyone. They are certainly money hungry. Customer service IS NOT a priority here. If you don't know what your doing, they will talk you into unnecessary expenses. The environment at this shop is like they are this club of buddy's, and if you don't hit it off right with them they'll treat you like dirt. Balswick's Tire and Auto Service on Golden State is exactly what mechanic shops should not be.

Balswicks tire and automotive is Fantastic. I take my car there for everything as they are professional...fast and Reasonably priced. Like most people I'm not rich and it's so wonderful when you have a car problem to have a Great and Professional place to take it to. I'd give them more than 5 stars if it allowed me to.

We are considering buying a used car. I called to ask what it would cost to have it inspected. I found out the inspection is without cost. This is a family run business that takes diligent care of it's customers and great pride in their work. Like the olden days! Thank you Balswick's!!!PS They are the ONLY one's we trust our oil changes and smog checks to. Courteous, attentive, honest, and quick!
