Absolutely recommend this shop!!! Took my 2017 Volvo XC90. Al had an estimate within the hour. Fixed prob before noon on same day!! Very honest. Very reliable. Very reasonable. Great customer service.

Took my1979 Chevy C-10 for a smog and I gotta say AL was friendly and quick while I sat in the waiting room the receptionist was also friendly and had a good conversation I definitely will keep them in mind for future business, also will be spreading the word of how courteous and friendly this shop is

Al is a really good mechanic. He communicated well with me about the problems my car was having. He fixed the problem and was very honest about it. I recommend Tulare Automative Repair, as a woman I don't want to feel like Im being taken advantage of when it comes to my car. Immediately, he assured me he wasn't going to charge me for something that was beyond repairable. He was going to make sure it was worth it to fix it first. Great customer service and gets the job done.

Was referred to Tulare automotive to replace my valve cover and gasket on my bmw and they didn t disappoint normally never take my car too any shop but bmw. I ve called plenty of shops and checked them out on google but never took my car due to me not having full trust or confidence in those shops but these guys just gained a new customer. They had my car done in a day and even upgraded my valve cover from plastic to aluminum cover the staff were excellent in helping me feel comfortable and confident in them and the pricing was by far the best. So thank you Tulare Automotive this will be my go to shop from now on.

SOME OF THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED!!! I brought my 2013 Ford Flex in from Nevada to switch over to California tags and plates. I needed a smog check and some catalytic converters installed. I was able to get 2/3 installed no problem. The last one had to be hunted down, Brent did some outstanding searching for that last part and found it. I went to pick it up and they had it finished in a day.I don't think they have a formal "MILITARY DISCOUNT" but since it racked up so quickly the owner was cool and gave me a bit of a break. All together this place is a top notch shop and should definetly be considered for your auto needs. I plan on going back in the future to have some after market exhaust put on as well.Service: Exhaust

Took a used car here to have them do a pre-purchase check. Price was very reasonable for all that they tested. The dealership had detailed the car like new and it test drove nicely. We were almost ready to buy.However, Tulare Auto found a potentially significant issue in the diagnostic code history. Also found the rear shocks were shot, valve cover leak, and serpentine belt needed replacing. The dealership wouldn't make any accomodations so we didn't buy the car.Thanks to Brent for saving us potentially major issues and expenses.

My first time being there. The service was professional and thorough...... took the time to answer questions and explain what I didn't understand. I would definitely refer them and go back when needed. I appreciate the honesty. Oh .. and my car got smogged as soon as I drove up. Fast service!!

I visited this shop on 8/10/2022. I just moved to California and needed to have a smog test completed on my vehicle. I arrived at 9:10am on a Wednesday morning. I left 10am. Price was reasonable ($55; labor & certificate) and time to complete work was wonderful! Great experience with Brent. Would recommend to all!

I have a little white Sonoma pickup..needed a smog test...did not pass on Friday...appt made to bring on Monday...estimate about $240...nothing on Monday, nor Tuesday, checked, Wednesday finish...smog passed, "check engine light" went away($415) charged to fix all. 5 days later, light came back on, called, told to bring in to check light...appt to be made if work was needed, no mention made of any warranty, afraid that I might be charged another $400...hmmm.

Excellent, qualified, knowledgeable, friendly service. They took good care of me, did an excellent job on my BMW and repaired what three others could not, plus, they hooked me up with my smog check. They were fair with their pricing, didn't try to gouge me as a female and explained anything I wasn't sure of. Great service, friendly, good prices, and on time. We came in with faulty brakes on a late Saturday morning (with them closing at 12:30 pm that day I believe), and they gladly took the car in to fix even if it went past their regularly closed time. Since we were visiting from out of town, they offered to pick us up from our hotel once the car was done so we wouldn't have to walk in the summer heat. Definitely recommend their services!

I was visiting my mother who lives down the street and saw the sign. I always see cars being serviced here but never really paid attention thinking they only did breaks and muffler services. I called and was thrilled they have oil change service. I was a walk in and told it would be a while but I wasn t in a rush. Mr Brent helped me upon my 12pmish arrival but I didn t catch the names of the gentleman who helped me about 4pm and one of the other mechanics. We walked in a a gentleman was on the phone so we had to wait for him to acknowledge us and others when he was ready and after about 5 min or so, then the mechanic assisted me with my payment and gave me some helpful info. Then the gentleman was off the phone and he was friendly and re explained some things but otherwise told me that my vehicle was in good condition. Thankfully, I my mom lives near and we could see that my car was sitting outside in a different area so I knew it was done, but nobody called me, so we walked over. I usually get my synthetic oil change in San Diego from Ford because I have a coupon for $49 so with all the fees it s about $65, but since I been visiting the past month here I fished out about $89 and can t really complain because I got what I needed and had a good experience. Just wished they rotate the for that price.I feel as if the staffs are honest, professional and helpful. Told my sister to bring her cars here along with my mom.Also gave them 5 stars on Yelp and had to put them on the map. On Yelp they are still an unclaimed business.To all the staffs, thank you for all that you do and continue to be safe. God bless.Service: Oil change

First experience with them was Great business. Once working on my truck, job was done sooner than I expected. Definitely professional and the owner Alfonso took care of me on my transmission issues. I was told if I brought my truck in for smog check it may take 30 minutes after it went in. Checked in with ease and friendly service member. In and out in 20 minutes. Awesome service thanks
