I brought a car that I was test driving to be inspected last week. They were able to take me in right away and get it done foe me, which I am very grateful. They didn't charge very much either. He gave my a car a pretty good report. He noted a few potential future maintenance issues. Pointed out a couple filters that need replacing. He also told me that the oil was good and that the tires and brakes were new. This is the point where I kind of knock off a couple stars though. I had brake problems almost immediately on my drive home. They weren't constant -- they were intermittent over the next couple days, but I could feel metal grinding against metal. I took it to a mechanic near my work who, after a quick visual inspection, said the front brake pads needed replacing. I paid him feeling like I might be getting lied to (I didn't tell him the brakes were new), and since then my car has been running perfectly.I like car. I'm really glad I bought it. I'm very appreciative that he was able to get my inspection done right away, without which I wouldn't have bought it. But it is odd to me that he pointed out specifically that my brakes were new when they clearly needed replacing. Maybe they were new but weren't installed right? I don't know. I'm inclined to believe the second guy though because my brakes work now and they were sometimes grinding before.In any case, it's a minor issue for buying a used car. I'm very happy with my purchase and I'm thankful to So Cal Auto Clinic for their part in helping me purchase it. I kind of wish they had found the problem with my brakes when doing the inspection though. I can't really give them five stars when another mechanic had to diagnose and fix what they had told me was good.

Would not recommend. Their repair philosophy it to just start repalcing things till something fixes the problem. Their business practices are not very fair either.I brought my camry in a couple months ago to diagnose some low engine power I was experiencing. When I came in, the mechanic said it would be $60 for a diagnotic which I agreed to. He spent about 5 mintues and reading the engine codes and then recommended cleaning the throttle body and replacing the MAF for for $250. I asked how he knew that was the problem, and he said it was one of a many possible problems with the car. I sensed their philosophy is to just replacing things until something works which is not a very cost effective method. I decided not to proceed with the repairs becasue I didn't trust this mechanic. Worked on the car myself and discovered it was actually a clogged catalytic converter; good thing I ignored their advice.I asked if he could waive or reduce the $60 diagnotic charge since he simply spent 5 min reading computer codes (which I already had done myself) and didn't actually give a diagnostic. He refused, but did not have good explanation as to why. I paid and left, but will never return.

I purchased a synthetic oil change from groupon and called to make an appointment. They got me scheduled at the perfect time for me. When i got there it was very fast took maybe 15 minutes unlike the dealer that always takes 2-3hour just to change my oil. They even fully inspected my car and told me what i would need soon. I would definitely return here again for any service i need done on any of my cars

Hands down the best, and most honest, service I ve ever gotten from a mechanic/body shop. Shant provides personalized, caring, service to each of his customers. I called him from Florida for my 65yo mom s car and after ONE phone call he took over the A-Z of insuring my mom didn t have to do anything. I ve never experienced this kind of service before. I wish I could clone him and have someone like that here in Florida.

The best of the best! Shant is always accommodating, professional and will let you know what really needs to be completed. He will work within your budget and handle your car with respect. He works hard, is honest and is not afraid to get his hands dirty, something a former blue collar worker can appreciate.

So cal has a great team ready to take care of you. I have a bmw e39 and recently did a swap for a 70k motor. Shant was honest and very trustworthy guy. He did jobs that aren t so easy and took care of my car. Didn t have to go back with other Issues leaving the shop. Prices are good, not like other shops with sky rocket prices. Small or big jobs stop by you ll be satisfied !

Shant was awesome!! He attended me as soon as I got to his body shop. I came in for an oil change that only took 30 minutes to complete. He also have me some recommendations for my vehicle.. which I appreciate. Thank you for the great customer service Shant!!

Came across So Cal Motor co. years ago when my 92 E30 needed heavy engine work. He made the impossible happen and got the old thing back on the road in no time. I have been coming here ever since. Bringing my mother car, my sisters car, and my friends cars all with me. Shant, the head mechanic and owner, is a stand up guy. Lays everything out and doesnt surprise you with random "repairs" hes true to his word and makes sure he takes care of. You can tell he takes pride in what he does and he works hard for you. His service is quick and very reliable. No headache, no hassle, no problems. Straight to the point. Always gets the job done above expectations. Thanks SoCal!

My car would crank but no start. So we took the car to him. He came up with the conclusion that the cluster was the problem. He said more specifically my immobilizer was the problem. So we purchased a new cluster and replaced my old one. car started up. Week later we take out the new cluster and put my old one back in and the car starts up perfectly fine. So he lied to us about the problem and charged us for that. Honesty might not be this owners strong suite.We later learned from numerous other shops my car can run without the cluster and does not have an immobilizer.

Big thank you to Shant at SoCal Motors! These guys are awesome, I had some problems with my Corolla and Prius, I brought them both over to them. They were honest and took care of both vehicles. I highly recommend them!!

I wen t to So Cal to do AC service. The price was supper great and they did service really fast. Shawn and his team professionals and did job fast and efficiently. I will definitely come back to change my oil here.

Professional and reliable service, friendly atmosphere, great attitude, patient and honest staff members, affordable prices. What else can I add? I think if I say that I simply drive almost two hours just to bring ALL of my cars to this shop, this should be enough.

I came into see Shant because my 135i was having an issue. Every time I would try to start it give me an error screen and jump into limp mode. I have taken it to other places before him and no one could figure it out. I dropped it off in the morning and he had everything working perfectly for me by the end of the day. It's rare running into someone who knows as much about cars as him. Thank you for everything Shant!

Iv been to this shop for a while now, the owner can pretty much take on what ever job you throw his way and his prices are really low for the job he does. This is the only shop I'll go to in all of the valley area.
