My car broke down on 80 last night and in the morning we had it towed to Truckee Automotive, I have taken my car to Jerry and his team a few times and they are wonderful. I would recommend them always. Thank you so much for your help.

I came here when I was living paycheck to paycheck. I sold everything I owned to get a gopro to make videos. The woman working the front desk went through my car and stole my GoPro. When I confronted them at the end of the oil change, she said they never went through my middle console and she had to leave when I talked about calling the police. Places like this make me sick. I support local, but not this place

I highly recommended this business. After getting 3 quotes from other auto shops and being told they couldn t do it, I brought it to Jerry and Matt at Truckee Automotive. Not only could they do what needed to be done, they were very professional and did the work for a fair price. We will be using them for future work. They re the best in Reno / Truckee area.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine tuning, Wheel alignment

Jerry is absolutely the best! Last Friday 8/31 he was able to squeeze in a last minute oil change that I needed before the weekend. He provided prompt and thorough service in which he not only changed the oil in my vehicle, but also took the extra time to notice (and bring to my attention) that I should probably replace the front brakes on my vehicle as well. Great customer service, and very detailed oriented!Thanks so much for all your help Jerry! I'll definitely be back!

It s a shame in a mountain town these shops refuse service on older model vehicles. But the do good work on newer cars

Jerry and his team are the best! Honest, reasonable and extremely nice. Jerry was able to give me an estimate over the phone for the cost of the maintenance I needed, and the final cost was actually $40 less. One of the staff members even gave me a ride home when I dropped my car off! Thank you Truckee Automotive!

Jerry was honest and efficient when my Jeep broke down after camping in the area. I had it towed to him after talking w a friend who is a local real estate agent and knows Everyone. Truckee Automotive is a trusted business and we all know how sometimes things don't go well with mechanics! Not these guys. Great customer service, no BS.

I would give zero stars if there was that option. I called to schedule an oil change the guy that answered said they didn't have anything until next week. I asked what days were available and he hung up. If that was their service in such a short phone call can't imagine a service on a car. RUDE!

I've had some parts in my car, that needed to go on my car, but couldn't find the time or space; I live in a motorhome and have two jobs, in Truckee. I called Jerry yesterday, and he was able to fit me in this morning.He confirmed that many other things need to be fixed, and will be fine with doing it a bit at a time.I look forward to doing business at Truckee Automotive, and getting my vehicle in good shape.

Got my truck in in a pinch, got the work done in a timely manner and at a fair price. Only part I wasn't too happy with was after I picked up my truck noticed someone decided to go through my stuff in my glove box and holder attached to my sun visor. I already know not to leave valuables in a vehicle while at a shop. Didn't notice anything missing, if their is is nothing important. Just bummed to have it happen at a shop I trust. Not sure if I'll be getting work done here in the future........

Jerry and the team are great guys. I take my Landcruiser to them for routine maintenance. They are next to a really cool optical shop called Arcade Optix.

I was on my way home from California to Idaho when my truck overheated while towing my travel trailer. They changed the fan clutch as that was the suspected culprit. $333.00 later I hooked up the trailer and it heated up before I got to highway 80. So I called him and he said they couldn t mimic the symptoms. After I got home I requested an email of the receipt but he never sent it so I could take the fan clutch back to oreillys.

There's a reason they've been in business 40+ years and counting. Best shop in Tahoe area by a long shot! Honest and reliable mechanics not trying to rip you off like everyone else!
