I can't say enough about Jason and his crew. I trust them. That says it all with regard to auto body shops. And they are kind. My scheduled repair work was at the same time as an out of town trip. I could drop my rental car off at the airport in Reno on my way out of town but then would have no way to get home when I returned. Jason drove it to long term parking at the airport in Reno (45 minutes!) for me when he was done with it and sent me photos of where it was parked. He even anticipated a snow storm and my arriving late at night, and parked it in the indoor long-term area for me. Amazing.

Shepherds is an honest, professional auto body shop we have used to repair a number of vehicles over the years. Jason and his team will go above and beyond to make sure the job is done right and correct any issues immediately. Thank you Shepherds!

AMAZING!!My truck with over 100k miles on it was sideswiped a couple weeks ago. The entire right side and front end were destroyed. I got some quotes from Shepherds and other Auto Body shops. Shepherds gave the best price coupled with great service. The competition just looking at it and gave me a number. Art (the owner) took his time to look it over explain things and a good quote himself.When I got my truck back it looked like new. The paint had been rejuvenated, even where the truck wasn't hit. They even detailed the inside along with wheels and tires. I cannot recommend them enough. Id give them six stars if i could.Jon

BEWARE: This company is a scam. They rip off locals! I wanted to go somewhere in Truckee to keep business local. My car took them two hours to look at and they held it for four days. I was charged $600 just to look at the car. It was picked up two hours after I received the quote back. No compassion only a company trying to go after profits over anything else. Save your money and go to somewhere that has respect for their clients.

I've used Shepherd's Auto Body a couple of times for minor auto body repairs after a very bad experience with the body shop down the street. Art (the owner) is so thoughtful, agreeable and thorough to work with. His customer service is a 10 on my list! He and his team make my car look like new each time and surprise me by doing little extras, including washing the car inside and out before returning it to me!If you want your car repaired right and appreciate top notch customer service, don't bother with any other shop. Go straight to Shepherd's Auto Body. You'll be glad you did!

The work was excellent, friendly and kind. Even brought my car to my house in a snow storm. Really goes the extra mile. Worked hand in glove with the insurance company so I had no worries. Thanks to everyone at Shepards

Have had consistently good experience with these folks. They have worked on our cars multiple times over the years and always had a great experience. Good work, dependable, honest. Glad they are in Truckee.

Had my Cadillac backed into and decided to call them for an estimate. They told it to bring it by so I did. They said it would take 6-10 days for an estimate.... never heard from them for about a month. I finally called them and they said something along the lines of oh yeah we are still looking for parts. I took it to auto body and frame shop a few hundred feet down the road and they got it done in a week.

We traveled from Maine (kids live here) and needed a little body work done, Jason made the effort to explore my priorities (simple repair to full like new finish), gave us an estimate. Took the truck right in and completed the job in less than half the estimated time, a most pleasant surprise to our travel budget The cab fare to/from where we were staying was almost as much as the repair. These guys are AWSOME. Price, service, and most of all ATTITUDE!! Go to these guys!!!

I can't say enough positive about Shepherd's Auto Body in Truckee. They picked up my car from my office and returned it the same day! I thought they couldn't do the work they were so fast, but they did an excellent job removing a dark mark across two doors - you'd never know anything was there! AND there was no charge! Who does that these days? Shepherd's Auto Body does! I will be back when I need more serious repairs in the future and if you need auto body work - try Shepherd's - It's worth it. :-)

Told us 6-8 days, 30 days later they delivered us an unfinished car.....(they delivered it to TC because we were told it would be ready to pick up, and it wasn t, so they brought it to us, which was nice, but the car wasn t finished. Now weeks later, no contact and still an unfinished car.......

We were on a trip and got sheet metal damage on our trailer. They were friendly, very knowledgeable and very helpful with the problem and got us up and running in no time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!

Friendly staffs, but service was pretty slow as they got a lot of cars in to get done, i love how mechanic and the lady at front countee treat customers

Do not take your car here!! Dropped off my damaged vehicle in February, they said they needed 3-4 weeks with it. It is now June and I still do not have my vehicle!

I had an emergency when my car seat got stuck and was not driveable and they stayed open late to help me and fixed it. Awesome place.
