I went to get a new headlight bulb, Chris was very helpful and waiting to assist me the minute I walked in. I then proceeded to drop the cover down into the wheel well. When I asked for help, Matt jumped at the opportunity to come assist me. Working to locate the part and fish it out at no additional cost. Excellent customer service.

I ve been here several times and I m always sincerely helped by their staff. They provide the most competent and respectful service of any auto parts store I ve been to and are by far the best in Truckee or the Tahoe basin. Jeff recently went above and beyond to help me get the correct part fitted for my vehicle.

We came in not knowing our exact issue. Jeff was able to talk with us through the error reading that we received. He really was there for us, offering tools and anything else we needed while we remedied our issue.If every O Reilly had one Jeff, the world would be a better place.

I have always had great customer service at this location. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable and this last visit was no exception. In particular Cody went above and beyond and even lent me some of his own personal tools to get me back on the road again! Oriely s specialty tool loan program, parts in stock, and Cody s knowledge and resources saved my bacon! I made it home 250 miles away without further issues. I cannot thank them enough for always stepping up to the plate and taking care of the customers and community! Cody and staff, you rock! Thank you!!

I m not that into cars, but when I go to O Reillys, they have such a dazzling array of parts that I start to get excited, imagining a different version of myself who is really into Cars and loves upgrading his car and I imagine how fun that could be, and my whole body feels scintillated, and it is really quite fantastic.

I got stuck in Truckee this past weekend due to a cylinder misfire, which seemed to be due to a faulty spark plug or coil. I've never changed spark plugs in my life and would've rather had a pro do it (especially since they're very hard to access on my Subaru), but this was a Saturday night and we weren't having any luck finding an emergency mechanic. I ended up pulling over at this O'Reilly and doing the job myself, but I probably would have given up and paid for a very expensive tow without the help from two of the employees here, Cody and Taylor (90% sure that was her name). I had to pop in and out of the store a bunch of times looking for the right tools to work inside a really tight space, and they patiently helped me find what I needed every time (plugs, weird socket adapters, ignition coil thingy), even when I wasn't sure what it was called. Haven't written a review in a while, but wanted to call these two out for going the extra mile. Thanks guys!

First of all I would like to thank Jeff, the associate working the night I visited the store. I was driving for Amazon and my international truck broke down in Donner pass. I was barely able to make it to this store. If you are not familiar with this area it is very difficult to be in especially when it s snow and ice outside. This guy Jeff made a horrible experience for me turn into one of those moments that you say God put me here for a reason. If I would have went anywhere else at that time of night no one would have helped us like Jeff did. This is a great store do to his patience and willingness to help. I would highly recommend this store. Great associates work here and he is a saint. Thank you Jeff and O Reillys.

Great costumer service. Needed some straps and an adapter for a trailer. Found what I needed and they helped me remove the anti-theft security on the straps as I didn t have the tools with me.

Jeff was a champ, helping me out for hours to get me running when I got towed in. If he isn't already, make him store manager give him his own store, heck give him O'Reilly the company. If it weren't for him my truck would not have driven out under its own power today. 10/10

The absolute best visit to an auto parts store ever. Ok, maybe a slight exaggeration but these people were super helpful. These are the kinds of guys you want on your team. I might have bought the perfect tire chains. Then again, time will tell. On a cold dark winters night the place was warm and friendly and helpful. Not sure if it was a fluke or if it s always like this. Maybe I got lucky with the dream team at the parts counter. I work on my own cars and have been going to parts stores for 30 years. They are hit and miss. When you find one that works, you hang on to those guys. My Oreilys at home is not one to write about.Update, The tire chains I got here are serving very well. Pretty pricey at 250$ or so. Never paid so much anywhere but.... Maybe I got ripped off? Made of actual chain in a net like pattern. Used them for an epic drive during one of these 2023 storms. Lots of people stuck and crashing and I just kept rolling along in my 2WD tacoma.

Operating hours are convenient, a d it is reasonably well stocked. I come here regurlarly. The staff never seems to have any sense of urgency, but they are polite. It just means you need to spend an extra 10 minutes waiting in line when you go here.

We were on the last leg of our 3 day road trip when we were told we needed chains for our tires. Had to turn back and made it to O'Reilly's. The guys there were so nice and helped us out. Made sure we had the right size and talked us through how to put them on. Made a frustrating delay not the worst by being so friendly.

Amazing service!! Absolutely outstanding. Snapped serpentine belt and a seized a.c. compressor clutch. Guy lent us his personal tools and even helped us Jimmy the belts to bypass the pulley and they gave us a jump to get us in our way. Have not had great service like that if ever. Would recommend these guys to everyone. 860 miles from home...they saved our family vacation.

Thank you Fritz! I was a bit intimidated to go in and sort out my need to replace a headlight but Fritz helped me find the right bulb, the best 2pack price, and he even changed the bulb for me. Usually O'Reilly's has what I need for both my older and newer vehicles. If they don't they can usually have it available the same afternoon or next day.

I highly recommend: extremely fast, detailed analysis of parts required, absolutely made sure I had the right parts for all parts purchased, great database to zero in - all with impressive automotive knowledge; especially want to thank Nate for his over the top service and knowledge!

I would recommend this place over and over again. Every time I go in...I get fast service, courteous employees and a piece of mind knowing that I will get the right part. I will keep doing business with O'Reilly's of Truckee as long as I live in Truckee!

Ordered a radiator hose for a 93 cadillac, overnight service. Although I slept in the car, it was there at opening time 7:30am as the guy said. One night, back on the road.Great customer service - the guy who helped me, sure wish I took his name down, was quick to try an help, come up with ideas on a fix or hose that could be used without ordering. But, in the end a new hose was best. Quick service, happy employee, excellent experience aside from car troubles lol

Our motor home blew a couple cooling system parts coming up Donners Pass from Sacramento. We kept it at a friends place while we went ahead to home (Utah). I ordered a new radiator online, but for all the incidental parts I relied on O Reilly. Normally I don t much care for the knowledge or selection of most O Reilly stores, but this location was fantastic. Ted and Matthew in particular went out of their way to really help me figure some redneck fixes to accommodate a slightly not stock radiator. I ll be very appreciative of their help every time I think back on this ordeal, as long as I live. Great job guys, I ll even be giving the O Reilly store I don t like at home another go because of y all!

Battery died and I took it in and was out in less than 10 minutes with a new battery and back on the road in no time. Clean store very friendly customer service. Ill be back again for sure
