The dispatcher was easy to reach and communicate with - we had been waiting 3 days for a tow of our new van that had been blocking the road after the brakes failed and were relieved to finally find someone to take the job. STEVE was OUTSTANDING - he made quick work of helping to finish clearing the berm (we had done our best to keep it clear through an epic storm). His confident, competent and warm demeanor was refreshing and so appreciated, thank you Steve!!! Wanted to shower him with coffee and cookies, but he only accepted gratitude. Highly recommend Cal-Nevada Towing.

Steve was great! Awesome really. We broke down just outside of Truckee on one of the hottest days this summer. We only waited 30 minutes, Steve showed up had us wait in his air conditioned cab while he quickly hooked up our car. We spent the next hour chatting with him as he got us back home to Auburn. Steve was very friendly and professional. Great experience in a not so great circumstance.Service: Car towing

Our Volvo had a mechanical failure on the I-80 Freeway near Emigrant Gap (everybody was safe). First, we tried going through our insurance company to find a tow truck but they couldn't find anybody "in network". We called Cal-Nevada Towing and they showed up 30min later. Steve was calm, cool and collected. He towed our car down the Reno and had great follow up. We're really thankful for the team at Cal-Nevada Towing!Service: Car towing

Steve, the tow truck driver, was professional in how he did his work and showed his honesty and restored my faith in humanity. I tipped him after the job and he reluctantly accepted it. 5 minutes after leaving he called me to tell me I made a mistake and accidentally gave him too much. He drove back and gave me back two hundred dollar bills I accidentally gave him when I intended to tip $40. He didn't have to do that and showed his honesty. I would recommend Steve and Cal Nevada for anyone else that needs their services.

Brandon with truck 72 was a huge relief and help with towing my 1976 MCI 8. I lost track of the challenges that Brandon faced from start to the very end. Especially the end! He was always calm cool professional and constantly had the safety of ALL parties in mind at all time. I lack proper command of the English language to say how impressed I was with the entire experience. After today he needs a bonus for sure. Branden literally came to the rescue after my roadside assistance bailed on me. He got here super quick, I should of called them before hand! Very nice and polite! He managed to get the job done in less than 10 minutes!! Super grateful that he showed up cause I had no idea what to do!

Branden was my tow truck driver.I say the most that He took a stressful situation that went south in my pocket book and mood and turned it around completely. He dove right in. Efficient, professional, and extremely courtious.Branden is absolutely a asset to your company. I hope there are many doors open for him when it comes to growth and leadership. He pays attention to the details, care , and upkeep of his companies and customers equipment.Branden's equipment is all accounted for and he is well prepared for the service and task at hand.Branden's driving skills are in my opinion up to DOT and Cal-Nevada towing standards. I felt at ease with his driving. The manager, Joe Kirsch, helped me a lot. I had a bad accident and he was really attentive, giving solutions for each problem that I had. Brandon was great, extremely friendly and professional. Very thorough hooking up and safe driving. Went well above and beyond for us. Took us and the truck to the shop, waited around and drove us to a motel and even waited until he made sure they had a room for us. It's nice to know that there are still people like this out there. I wish I ran into them more often. Thanks again Brandon.

These guys were amazing! I called several companies and no one was able to tow my truck and travel trailer and these guys could! And they were there in 20 minutes! The driver was great and offered me cold water and made me feel comfortable. He even put my trailer in the spot at the rv park! The ladies in the office were very nice and helpful too. Brandon truck 72.Was very helpful and friendly, he was on time and was very polite. He made me feel right at ease and got to work right away. Outstanding service! Our car broke down in Truckee on a Sunday evening. AAA told us we would have to wait 3 1/2 hours for their truck to pick us up. When no one showed up, we called AAA again & they told us that it would be another 3 hours. She suggested we hire a tow truck driver directly. We contacted Cal-Nevada Towing. I first spoke with Keith who was so positive & helpful. Within minutes he arranged for one of his drivers, Steve, to pick us up. Keith texted me to let me know Steve was on the way. Steve was also really friendly & helpful. He took our cell phone numbers in case we lost each other. I only wish we would have called them first. I ve never been glad to have been towed before... that s how good my experience was. The response time was better than I anticipated. Brandon was awesome! Professional, motivated, safe and just a great person to interact with. He was very careful to make sure that everything was done right, but in a timely manner, and for once I don t feel like I was overcharged for towing. If you drive trucks long enough, you ll need to be towed, if your lucky, you ll breakdown somewhere where these guys are available!

If you are in need of a lovely, safe and economical company to use in the always interesting tow situations, look no further than this company!! Steve and Sierra were both wonderful and took care getting me off the side of i80 safely and quickly and even dealt with my insurance company calling them for the roadside assistance claim. Semi broke down on the interstate. Branden arrived pretty quick. He was very personable and professional. He even gave me a ride to my hotel. My tow truck driver, Brandon, was fantastic. He was professional, punctual, calm, and clearly experienced in heavy duty hauling. Nothing but class from top to bottom! Joe the regional manager was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with an over the phone diagnostic that turned out to be 100% accurate. His drivers are also very professional.We are driving a Class C RV on a lifted 4x4 kit. We had a blown spark plug and requested a tow. When the original tow driver showed he was unfamiliar with towing such a vehicle so he did the professional thing of calling someone more experienced to help him out. The communication amongst themselves and with us was very respectful. They helped each other out and were transparent through the entire process.They got the vehicle to the mechanic without any major incident. However, a minor issue occurred because of the design of our 4x4 kit. The front springs are not secured at the bottom (which we were not aware of) so when the RV was set down the spring on the passenger side missed where its supposed sit. Mistakes happen and this is a minor one, the frustrating part is the mechanic let us drive off like that on a Wednesday night. We followed up with both the mechanic and Cal-Nevada that night becuase the alignment felt off. We were told to wait until the next morning to speak with Joe the regional manager. We were able to get ahold of Joe in a timely manner the next morning. We explained the issue and he diagnosed it quickly on the phone and came to check it out in person. Within minutes he found us a solution and took care of the problem within a total 30 minutes and got us safely back on the road.At the end of the day it doesn't bother us that the spring popped out on the original tow because had we been aware of the design we would have told the driver to keep an eye out for it. What was frustrating was that the mechanic let us drive away after doing a diagnostic and a test drive after they fixed the spark plug. The only helpful party in this situation was Joe and his team. They really took care of us.Absolutely excellent service! I highly recommend Cal-Nevada. Keith and Brandon went above and beyond and rescued me from the the Sierras, Donner Lake area after my truck broke down. They were very professional, kind and funny. I definitely knew I was in good hands!! I would definitely recommend Cal- Nev Towing if you ever need a tow.Both Keith and Brandon are my heros!!

Our tow truck driver, Brandon went above and beyond the call of duty. He made us feel very safe and comfortable during a pretty dire situation when we were not in the most safe place to be broke down, even going as far as to make sure we had water and something to eat because we were stuck in very hot weather, though he was friendly enough that I'd go out on a limb and say he'd probably make sure we were just as taken care of during perfect weather. Would highly recommend using this company and specifically this driver. They seem to care an awful lot about taking care of people and not just treating you like a number. The service we received was barnone and customer service this good is darn near impossible to come by. Thank you for making a bad situation bearable.
