Terrible service 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Monica and Issac are terrible managers at this location. They will quote you for one price that is low and charge you higher. I went in for an oil change and ended up having my rear rotators and break pads changed they charged me over $700 Monica kept insisting that my brakes were near discard. My brakes were just recently done and checked by manufacturer. They will take advantage of you and they ll scam you out of your money. When I didn t consent to my brakes being replaced and did so anyways and charged me for it. They had no proof that I consented to the change. they will lie straight to your face, Monica the store manager is very disrespectful and rude she yelled at my family and called security forces on us because I refused to pay for the amount when I DID NOT CONSENT TO ANY SORT OF CHANGE. For being on base you would think you would get a lower price. I recommend going elsewhere.

To anyone who is considering taking their vehicle to Firestone. DON T!!! They are scammers, liars, unprofessional and the store manager Monica is rude and a piece of work. My young son had taken his vehicle in for a simple oil change and they ended up doing more work on his vehicle without his consent and charged him over $600. When my son tried to fight it and refused to pay they held his car hostage. Monica and her employee Isaac swore up and down that my son gave them consent and when he asked for proof that he gave them consent they couldn t prove it and ended up calling security forces and told them all kinds of lies. My son had no choice, but to pay the money if he wanted his car back. We tried to reason with her and asked if she could meet him half ways, but she was so rude, very disrespectful and unreasonable. They take advantage of young people and miss quote their customers. Monica should be fired for how she treats her customers. How is this business helping our military community? If you can take your business elsewhere do it! AVOID FIRESTONE!!

I ve never been to a worse Firestone. The gas pumps barely work, needing to be constantly held or readjusted when filling up, it s been going on for years and they haven t even tried to fix them. The staff lies a lot, saying whatever they need to get your business. They put the wrong filter in my wife s car, causing a problem that cost $200 to repair, our section won t even take our vehicles to them anymore for tires and we work on base.

I was very thankful to the team because I just came off a 12 hr shift from the hospital and found out my tire had a nail in it, they were able to help me out right away so big kudos!

You might think this service being offered on base is beneficial to service members, but the reality I experienced is that you re paying a hefty premium for the convenience when you can get the same work done off base for far less money. Which is what I will be doing, unfortunately.I didn t actually get any work done because the price I was quoted for tires was so unreasonable it struck me as borderline predatory. I was told there was only one option for run-flat tires for my vehicle and that changing all four would cost $2400 before taxes. I found many perfectly good options online ranging from $1000-$1300. I asked if they could price match or if I could purchase the tires separately and ship them to the store to be installed, to which I was told no to both. The person working up front was friendly and professional, and tried working with me on the price to a degree but couldn t get anywhere close to what I considered reasonable. I could have gotten them changed at the dealership for less money. While I was there, I overheard them tell a customer that their coolant was low and it would cost $170 to flush the system and top off coolant when the actual fix was to buy a ~$20 bottle of coolant, assuming there s no leak (which a $170 flush wouldn t fix either).Bottom line, ensure you re being quoted competitive prices, or spend your money somewhere else.

I have been here a few times, ussualy takes 2-4hours for a basic oil change. I aways scheduled an appointment. One time I came in for a scheduled oil change and they didn't have an oil filter in stock. I tried multiple times, but service has always been worse and longer than others I've been to. Location wise, it's by far the nost convenient, however going 30 minutes out of way seems faster.

Really disappointed with services provided by this Firestone. They were inefficient, unorganized, and there was little attention to detail. We had scheduled an appointment in advance to drop our truck off at 9am for an oil change. We were notified that they require 3 hours per vehicle for services. Our second vehicle ended up getting a flat so we brought that in to have the tire replaced at 11am. When we arrived they had just finished servicing our truck and it was being parked on the side. We noticed the lights remained on after it had been parked, but didn t think too much of it. We checked in our second vehicle and were told they needed to complete the paperwork on our truck and we d have to wait. We proceeded to wait an hour and 15 minutes for the paper work to be completed. We were finally able to check out and pay by 1230. We walked out to our vehicle to find that it had been running on IDLE for the ENTIRE hour and a half that it was parked on the side. I had gone in to tell the employee working the front desk, and he replied with okay and just stared at me in silence.Later that day my husband returned to pick up our second car with the replaced tire. After getting the car, the tire pressure of the new tire was low and we had to go fill it with air.Overall just frustrating, and I would recommend taking your car elsewhere.

My son is in the military and he is on special duty at Travis Air Force Base. His Jeep Wrangler was running rough and had to have it towed to base. The guys at Firestone got it in, did a diagnostic on it and came up with 1800.00 work of repairs. None of which would have made the Jeep run better. They said it was throwing two different codes (P0171 map sensor and P02096 O2 sensor) but they coldn't fix that which they didn't let my son know until asked. I then called to try and get some detailed information regarding what they were doing and they said the Jeep needed new shocks, had a PH imbalance in the coolant system 6.5 instead of 7.0 ( so they said). needed and oil change (just changed a week ago) and there was a drip of oil underneath that they would have to run a dye test on. When my son called and asked them to not fix the shocks the estimate went from 1800 to 428 which included an oil change, coolant change and dye. I asked if they could actually fix what my son brought it in for and they said no. I asked for some more detail about the work order and the guy, bothered that I'm asking, abruptly puts me on hold. I called back and another guy answered. He put me on hold. I was professional and was simply asking for details to help my son who is 2800 miles from home. Honest people don't mind explaining their work. Honest people don't put you on hold abruptly without letting you know. These guys saw my son, from Ohio, and tried to take advantage of him. Military folks. You work hard and sacrifice too much to get your money taken from you by a shop that's dishonest. Stay away! My next email will be to the Air Force, after that the Attorney General. They tried to steal from the wrong guy. Check out all the 1 star reviews if you need more reason to stay away!

I purchased a 1996 Mercedes Benz S320 and needed some help figuring out what needed to be done. Darrell was amazing, friendly, and helpful. He quoted me for pricing and gave me much needed advice. I definitely plan on coming back here for further service! FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thank you!

Prior to my appointment, I called over a week in advanced to confirm that the Travis AFB location had the tires I requested via the app. I gave the technician my vehicle information and he could not determine my tire size from the information given to him. He put me on hold and after about 10 minutes waiting, I hung up. I waited a few days after that exchange to call the store again. A different person answered and was more competent than the last guy. I asked the technician if they had the tires I requested on the app. Since they did not, I went with another brand as my second option. I got scheduled and was told the tires were already on hand. Six days later, I had my appointment which was scheduled for 0900. I arrived 15 minutes prior to drop off my car and requested an early afternoon pickup. I called at almost 2 p.m. and my care was not ready. I was told that they were waiting on a tire from an off-base location and they would call back in 1 hour. The hour came and went with zero calls for updates. I waited until about 4:30 p.m. to head to the store. Once I arrived, my car was still in the bay, raised up with no work being done. I asked the technician once I got inside for updates and they were still waiting on tires to be delivered. My car was not the only vehicle awaiting tires. I sat in Firestone for another hour before my car was even done. There were no vouchers or discounts given for the inconvenience caused by the lack of preparation on the employees part. This is not the first time where the workers at Travis AFB Firestone have been mediocre. This will be my last time visiting this location. I understand that this location is convenient for those that work on Travis, however, the poor work ethic from the entire team is troublesome.Service: Tires

My husband works at the base and needed to get his flat tire switched out. He dropped off his car in the morning before he went to work, around 9am today, and he was told AND was given confirmation that they ll be get it done before he gets off. 4:30pm he heads back there and they literally tell him they forgot about it. He then proceeded to wait an hour after being told that. Mind you, my husband lives an hour away and we just had a newborn, so he got home really late. All that, and he still paid regular price, didn t even give customer satisfaction or compensation. Didn t even say sorry! I ve had the same issue with a different firestone branch but was given compensation for waiting so long, but the workers in this one? It s like they shouldn t even be in customer service.Service: Tires

I've had very bad experience at this place a few months ago and the painful part is the disrespectful behavior of some staff members especially the huge man that works at the front desk. I brought in my car for oil change and ended up having my tire loosened and they wouldn't fix it when i noticed it could not drive it with the amount of noise it was making. I ended up taking it off base and the mechanic only simply had to fix the tire back by tightening it back and told me it was at the verge of coming off had I driven it any further. It looks like they intentionally cause a problem in your car so that you can come back there again. Same thing happened to my hubby's car about 2 days ago and I had to come and leave this review. Has anyone had similar challenge?Service: Oil change

Firestone is really going to need to read these reviews. I didn t even get my car serviced there. Like many others, I booked my appointment online. Then I began reading the reviews on both Yelp and Google. That got me really concerned what everyone has to say. So I called this morning to confirm my appointment. Unfortunately I am glad I called and my assumption was confirmed. Like many other complaints that I read, there was no record of my appointment request. The guy that answered the phone said the app really doesn t work and that they are fully booked. He said I could drop off my car for the day and they might be able to get to it in the afternoon. So what sense does it make to schedule an appointment???? What I didn t tell him was that I didn t use the app, I scheduled the appointment on Firestones website. After reading so many unfavorable reviews about the app last night I didn t want to waste the time to download it.I guess it really didn t matter anyways. I am just glad I called ahead of time to avoid a days worth of frustration. I ve read a bunch of horror stories and now I just avoided being part of them too!Save yourselves the frustration!!!

Since we have been on travis base we has not have one single great experience with them. The dude and disrespectful. They were very rude to us the last time. I changed my oil and i picked up my car with a loosen stud hanging. I complain and ask why it was like that they tell me it was like that prior they working on my car. Haven't been able to drive my car since now i have to to tow it to a different mechanic to get it check. And the painful part is this is not the first time it has happen this way. This will be out last time there.

Oil change that normally costs $80 in Vacaville dealership costs $168 dollars at this location. Do not go here they are ripping off veterans and their families. It also took 2 hrs for them to do a simple oil change with an appointment

The people are nice and are always able to get me out the same day as my appointment. It does take a little longer, but that's ok because I never have anything that I have to do. Would suggest this location if you have base access.

I set an appointment for early morning and a pick up at 4 in the afternoon for my car for a simple oil change and tire rotation. I came to pick up my car and I noticed that they didn't rotate the tires at all because my rim has a dent and I made it as my marker. I told Ryan (one of the mechanics) and he said he'll take care of it before closing time. Tire rotations should only take about 30 minutes but it took them the whole day to do what I requested. I have a doubt on all their work as of now. If you want to bring your car here, stay at Popeyes and watch them so they do a good job.

I set up an appointment for this morning. The tires that I told them I wanted last week, no one ordered. Typical military base operation.Afterwards, after I received a call that my tires were in, I came back. In Michigan I usually get a new set of tires and an alignment in an hour or an hour and a half. I had to wait three hours. But, the customer service representative, realizing that my appointment for the morning was screwed up, and that I had to wait so long, knocked off about $100 from the quoted price of the tires. I feel that they did their best.

The staff are always professional, friendly, and always running behind. Don't expect same day service, but you can usually get in an appointment a couple days out. Prices on tires are ok and oil changes are on the high side. Labor for checking out an issue is $140 an hour. I recommend this location if you can't do the work yourself as they do a good job.

Look at what I found. Had rotors and brakes changed...found a month later by another shop while getting a tire repaired. Won't go back.

Good, quick service. I had an issue with a miss diagnosis on my car (it worked sometimes but would stop working randomly) They paid for the tow and credited the difference in the cost of repairs back and it has been working great ever since. I also had all four tires, break pads, and rotors replaced in half a day from a walk in.

Customer service on of the worst! I went to ask for two new tires for my travel trailer on Wednesday September 22nd at 13:00. The sales representative Mike advice me that they didn't have that type of tires in stock. I ask him if he can order them for us since I was going to stay at the base for 5 more days and he told me that the tires were going to show up the following Monday September 27th. At this day, October 2nd I still waiting for him to contact me. I won't recommend this place. I had never got this kind of service from Firestone Complete Auto Care center. Normally they go above and beyond to get a customer going specially when you are stranded.

Took a couple hrs longer than I expected but pricing was good and love the new tires. **** UPDATE 4/16/21 ****. The previous review was a year ago. Today's experience was in NO WAY like my earlier experience. I made an appointment for 12PM. I was running late so I called to let them know. I arrived at 12:15 and had planned for the quoted two hour wait while the four tires were installed on my car. I booked the appointment last Friday. They knew I was coming.....the 1PM appointment received his vehicle before I did. They didn't even roll my car into the garage until I returned from lunch and a 7 mile bike ride. WTH. I know it doesn't take four hours to install four tires. My vehicle wasn't ready until 4:15PM! Then they wanted to upsell me. If it is going to take four hours, please TELL ME it's going to take 4 hours. Don't tell me two and then double it and try to upsell me after wasting 2 hours of my time. Please at least PRETEND your customers are valuable to you. Have phone chargers and wireless internet available if you're going to make people cool their heels twice the quoted time, so they don't run out of charge trying to do the best they can to work while they wait. I missed an important webinar. I was expecting to be home by 2:30 at the latest. I didn't get home until 4:45. Time IS money for everyone.....not just Firestone

Had a flat, so I swapped out with the spare. Took the flat to these guys at 9am, was informed it would be repaired by 1pm. Came back at 1:30 and was told to wait. By 2 pm the repair was done and I reinstalled the repaired tire, checked the air pressure and everything was fine. After work I got a flat tire code on my dash. Checked the air pressure and it was at 12 psi on the repaired tire. Came back at 4pm and was informed I would either have to leave the car for 2-3 hours or take the tire off myself and leave it there for the same amount of time. So I proceeded to swap tires in the parking lot. A mechanic came by and immediately apologized and assisted me. The mechanic took the tire, found the leak, and repaired it within 30 minutes and reinstalled it himself. This place has good mechanics but terrible customer service in the front of the house. The girl with red hair is rude and incompetent.

I scheduled an appointment for an oil change a week in advance. I got to my appointment ten minutes early. The oil change didn t even START until 1 hour and ten minutes AFTER the appointment time, and they only started then because I complained. I was rudely told that an appointment means you can walk in at the appointment time, then you get in line. In the real world, this is not the meaning of appointment. Worst customer service I ve ever experienced for a simple oil change.
