These guys were great. Brought my car in at 10:30 and they had my brakes checked, replaced Rotors/Pads, and had my oil changed by 1:30.I must say their full synthetic oil change is probably the best priced in Tracy.

I've been a Brake Master customer for over 20yrs for all of my oil change. But today was different, I needed my belt replaced. Had. 8:30 appointment and was out of there by 9am but it just wasn't myself, 2:other customers were also out by 9am. I was happy to have made it to work on time. These guys are a new crew but are great just like every Brake Masters I've visited in over 20yrs which is why I will always be a returning customer. They're honest with great customer service.

I drive over an hour to get here Everytime something is wrong with my car or my mom's truck and I have the best experience here. They are fast and always try to save you money. This place is officially the place to come to when something is wrong under the hood. Thank you Jordan for helping me with everything and explaining/showing things English unlike other places I have been at. And thank you for the guys who finds everything that is wrong with the car/truck. You guys are awesome.

This was the second time bringing my car to Brake Masters to have brakes replaced. I appreciate their honesty and communication every time I bring my car to them. Everything that needed to be done, was done very quickly! Everyone I spoke with or saw was very friendly. Always a positive experience. Thank you!

1 start to 4 starUpdate: The corporate customer service manager, district manager, and store manager all got ahold of me. They listened to recorded call and honored what was said on the original phone call. They made it right with minimal drama on their end. The day I got it done was stressful and extremely busy for me without trying to get work done to my vehicle. They didn't take it personally and were good to me.Lost all trust and faith in this location. Called one day to get a quote for all brake rotors and all pads to be replaced. Got the quote for both they buy and do everything. Also, I got a quote for if I bring everything and they do labor. I was driving on handsfree in my truck, so multiple people in vechile heard conversation, and this came into play to ensure I was crazy later. Both were honestly good quotes, and a week later, I made the appointment. After dropping off the car and they call after inspection, they now quote double the prices for the exact same things. In just over a week, everything priced wise has doubled. So, to ensure I wasn't wrong, I had to get off phones with the shop and talk to the other who heard a quote over the phone. They heard what I heard no questions. I would understand some increase/decrease after the see the actual car but not doubling everything. Very dishonest sales team and comes across to say anything to get you in the door and car apart to start work prior to updating your new price.

With my recent visit, I felt the Service experience was fine, however they are not good at customer service. The manager who was at the reception didn't sound pleasing. They could be more customer friendly with a smile on their face. I could probably rate 4/5 stars for their vehicle service but 2 star for their customer service.

I recently had a troubling experience with Brake master, where the manager was directly involved in a highly disappointing and unprofessional incident. I had brought my car in for a brake master cylinder repair, and the situation took a deeply troubling turn.During the repair process, it became apparent that the brake master cylinder had been deliberately damaged, causing an unexpected and prolonged repair time. What was even more concerning is that the manager, who was overseeing the work, was directly responsible for this damage. This deliberate act of damage to my vehicle was unacceptable and unethical.To make matters worse, the manager showed no willingness to take responsibility for their actions, nor did they offer any resolution for the damage they caused. This left me in a frustrating and inconvenient situation, where I had to rent a car at my own expense due to the extended repair time.The situation escalated when the manager failed to show up for work the next day, compounding my problems and leaving me without a reliable vehicle.My experience with Brake master was marred by unprofessional behavior, intentional damage to my vehicle, and a complete lack of accountability on the part of the manager. I would strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution and consider alternative options for car repairs.This review is based on my personal experience, and I believe it is essential to share it with others to ensure they are aware of the risks involved in dealing with this mechanic shop, especially when the manager is directly involved in such troubling actions.

I recently had to replace brakes on two vehicles I started with my Toyota Camry at Brake Masters they did a great job and quickly. The second car was my son's and he chose to take his car to Amigo tires and Brakes. After having the car for 24 hours to inspect it he got a call that they would do both front and rear brakes for 1,200. I decided to get a second opinion at Brake Masters and the manager himself Jordan I believe his name was inspected the vehicle and within 30 minutes called me back I assured me the rear tires were still doing fine and the front brakes are what needed to be replaced and he could do the job for $470. A whopping $700 difference from the place I took it previously. It was done within 2 hours and drives like a champ and brakes like a champ now. I'm very grateful for their honesty and I definitely will be sending anybody I know who needs breaks to see Jordan at Brake Masters.

Incredibly professional team - they provided a free inspection, helped me understand the issues with my car and which needed immediate fixing. They were clear and informative. When I left and then had another question, I turned around and came back; they were just as kind to me the second time around, and invited me back at any time should I have questions about anything amiss with my vehicle again. I will continue to go to this facility for any of my vehicle needs!

So, my power steering belt broke on our way back from vacation midway.These guys had us in and out in about 30 minutes at a great price at that.Friendly, knowledgeable and very very helpful. Used to be great, I used them for many years and they were honest about the work needed to be done and the quality of work was very good. However, it seems there is a new sales guy at the front desk and he will try to sell you on services you don't need. I do most of my own services and I know my car very well. This guy tried to rip me off for $400+ for something I didn't need. I would not recommend Brake Masters anymore. I go to Advanced Auto in Tracy now and they have been very honest and technicians are certified.Service: Brakes

These guys are my complete go to place for brakes and service it is what they say brake masters very easy to do pricing is fair enough lol what more can I say I've trusted them with my life they did my brakes they are pros and again they took care of me this week

They only charged me $43 for my stud replacement but they will quote $175 at first. I will definitely go back if I have future problems.

Garbage service , disrespectful staff towards people ( specifically the older man) no one should deal with someone like that , I m making sure everyone knows to not go here. If the costumer service is horrible just imagine what they do to the cars .

My caliper mounting bolt was not torqued down all the way , it popped off somehow and the person who I talked to said that it is because my car has 160k miles on it, no bolt period should come loose after being torqued down, I m just glad this did not happen with my children in the car. If I can put 0 stars I would . This happens with lazy workers and poor quality.Service: Brake service & repair

Great customer service. I came in seeking a second opinion and competitive bid on a caliper replacement estimate I got from another shop. Derek assured me that they would verify the other shop's recommendation and estimate based on their evaluation. The inspection was free of charge and very thorough. Free inspection (including computer code check) is crucial for my financial position.In the end it was determined that the calipers were not requiring replacement, but they discovered severe rear drum/shoe issues. Derek provided a thorough estimate to repair this issue at a very reasonable price. I plan to move forward with these repairs ASAP with Brake Masters.

I took my car in for mainly an oil change, but I also wanted the brakes looked at because of a squeaking noise. They did a great job with everything! They applied a coupon for me without me having to do anything, rotated the tires and checked out the car at no additional fee. I've been coming here for a while now. Let me just say this is a very honest shop. They don't charge you extra for things you don't need like other shady shops. They may take longer than other places would to do similar jobs but I don't mind becuase I know the job is getting done correctly. Henry is great and always finds a way to save you money. Definitely found my go to shop! Thanks Henry and all the guys at the shop!

Danny, and the mechanic were the best!!! I walked in from purchasing some stuff at O'Reilly's and voice my concerns needed for my 2015 Murano.Danny gave me an estimate and agreed to get it fixed. He calls back later saying it's going be little more and respect the honesty.Car was repaired in few hours and running perfect!
