Took my truck to get fixed, been 2 month evertime I call they taking care of other Cara first instead of mine even after I paid up front.... nothing is funny when it comes to my money believe that

Called Eric after long thanksgiving weekend. Had a really bad transmission fluid leak due to a few pan bolts being stripped. He got me in and out that same day, within two hours, even though he had a full shop. I can't say how thankful I am. This vehicle is my home on wheels and Eric went out of his way to help me! Also, I felt the price was fair. Thanks again! Highly recommend this shop!Service: Transmission

Eric and his team were able to properly diagnose the problem with my 2018 Silverado 1500 transmission and had it repaired and ready. I went with this shop because the other places I visited wanted to install a heat exchanger on my transmission instead of performing proper diagnostics to determine the root cause of the issue. Happy I went to this shop. Worked out well!Service: Transmission

I've been coming to Eric for over three years now he has done custom as well as maintenance work on my truck. I can trust Eric and his team of AAA mechanics to do the job right the first time every time. His rates are very reasonable. Eric is very understanding when I make my appointments I always have to wait for my truck and Eric is fine with that most places frown on that they don't want you to see what they are doing or not doing. Eric is trustworthy I never question his workmanship on my truck he dose the things most mechanics won't do the little things he takes care of with no charge. Do yourself a favor bring your vehicle to Torrance Transmission and see Eric, you will not be disappointed.

Finally a shop I can trust!!! Eric is VERY honest! He worked on both of my cars and I was very happy with ALL his work. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone who needs engine work or transmission repair.

I own a vintage truck that Eric and the crew at Torrance Transmission do work on. I have had all kinds of repairs including a completely redone700 R transmission, 12 bolt rear end, also a new radiator. After their repairs, the truck is always in incredible condition and is a top notch drive. With an antique or vintage vehicle, it's hard to find mechanics that understand just what to do. Eric and his mechanics know what they are doing

Dishonest and did a poor job rebuilding my transmission. We had agreed on a cash price to do the job. When I went to pick up the vehicle, the price was over 400.00 more than we had agreed on. Then he offers me a 14 dollar discount if I pay cash. What do you do? Let him hold the vehicle for ransom?So pay the jerk, take my vehicle and the next day the trans starts slipping, shaking, and literally banging so hard the whole van felt like it was going to blow up. I bring it back,And he says the trans cooler is leaking and bad. The van didn't leak a drop. Still doesn't.Anyway he charges me another 400.00.The vehicle still slips and shakes on hills.When its all said and done, for 200 bucks more than what I ended up paying the shiester, I could have had a brand new transmission with a 7 year 60k mile warranty put in from a Ford Dealer. Do not go to this guy. As a local business owner myself, it makes me sick to know that people like this are allowed to do business at all. Don't waste your time and money at Torrance Transmission.

Used Eric s service twice now. Both times I was very satisfied. He is quite knowledgeable. If it s not too bad, he ll tell you that, not gouge you. If it s bad he ll tell you everything you need to decide what you want to do. He uses good parts, has fair prices, and gets the job done in a timely manner. I wouldn t consider going anywhere else

RIP OFF!!! I went in with concerns regarding the safety of my family with my car. Told Eric, that when I "Broke" the car would shake violently and I was afraid it wouldn't stop or parts would fall off. After 3 days, they felt the only problem was the steering rods and an alignment. WRONG WRONG WRONG. those 2 pieces had nothing to do with the shaking yet was responsible for payment. Since problem wasn't fixed i was forced to seek a second opinion and had to pay more money to get it fixed correctly. (back brakes were the issue). Rip Off Artist. Eric answer was "Sorry". Never again will I be treated like that.

One of the few what I consider "mom n pop shops" around. Brought my truck in and they started right away and charged me a fair price. Waited an hour or so, no problem.

There are so many alleged "professional" transmission service companies here in the South Bay including those franchised, uneducated ones that many of my clients refuse to have any transmission work done due to the dishonesty of these overpriced establishments. Pretty good shop.Installed a transmission in my 04 Armada.Cost was a bit high.It's now been 5 months the transmission slips once in a while.

Horrible horrible horrible do not take your car here I took my 81 Camaro here to get the transmission rebuilt two-and-a-half years ago and I've been having issues ever since they've never offered to fix it when I've asked them and now I'm calling them trying to figure out what they did to it so I can pay another mechanic to fix it the guy I spoke with on the phone seemed like he could care less stay away from this place please!!!
