The team at The Toy Shop have been working on my 2001 4Runner since 2003. They have provided excellent service at reasonable prices.The current team, Jeremiah, Rene and Jay are continuing the tradition of excellent customer service, dedication to their work and always trying to take care of the customer.

I wasn't expecting the detailed service inspection that they did. The inspection pointed out some non urgent maintenance items that would be needed soon without any pressure to have them done at the Toy Shop. The services that were performed required sophisticated guidance tools to identify exactly where there was an electrical fault affecting the front collision air bags. The Toy Shop identified the exact problem instantly. The previous visit to the dealership identified NO specific cause for this. All the dealership promised was to perform a T&M 'fishing expedition '. The final bill from the Toy Shop was about half that I would have expected at the dealership. Always a great experience at the Toy Shop!

I have been taking my cars to The Toy shop for years. I get excellent service and care every time. All of my car repairs are done here because they are honest and very reliable in all their work.

I am a first time customer with this shop and though I have a Ford Explorer, they were able to replace the catalytic converter for me.Chris was my mechanic and he was very helpful.I was able to document the entire process, which was great in assisting me with understanding how the converter is connected and how it works with the engine and fuel systems.It started-off a little rocky, but it ended well.I would recommend this shop.

Jeremiah and Rene always take care of my 2010 tundra and our 2020 rav4 hybrid. They communicate well after the issue is diagnosed and the price is fair and well explained. I have had many bad experiences over the years at different toyota dealerships. I am happy to bring my vehicles to the Toy Shop for any work they need.

Service done: Replace clutch assembly, replace inner tie rod, wheel alignment.If you're searching for a local shop near West LA that specializes in Toyotas, Toy Shop of Torrance is great from the start.When I submitted a service request on their website, I received an email from Rene within a day. From dropoff to pickup, I was completely satisfied with my experience with Toy Shop. Notably, my truck was stored safely in their parking lot for a few extra days after the job was done due to an extended work trip. And after driving around for a day and doing my own visual review, I am happy with the results and level of detail from the Toy Shop team. Plus, it felt good to see other Toyota trucks getting work done as I was picking up (further supporting my decision to choose Toy Shop).

Came in for a brake change and they did a great job! They were very professional and communicative. You definitely get the sense that they care about their customers. Their prices were very competitive compared to other shops and far better than dealer pricing. I would highly recommend to anyone in need of a good and trustworthy mechanic shop. I will be bringing all my car maintenance needs to them moving forward.

The staff are very professional and courteous. Provided very reasonable prices with quality work in an efficient time frame. If you are looking for an honest mechanic with amazing prices, I would definitely recommend the Toy Shop!Thank you for the amazing work guys!Edit: I have been back to the shop recently for more work on my car. Again the service was absolutely top notch and the pricing extremely reasonable. They even replaced and installed a warranty starter free of charge because the previous one they installed had very minor issues. This just goes to show the honesty and care that these guys have for their customers.Thank you again for the amazing work guys!

This is my go to for all car repairs. Jeremiah and Rene have always been so helpful and fair for all my automotive needs. From servicing my air conditioner to fixing my brake lights, they are so reasonable and always do a fantastic job. For instance, I went to a Nissan dealer just to replace a broken brake light and they charged me over 200.00. The Toy Shop did it for free! I mean you can 't beat that kind of service. I like that this shop is clean and there is also a small waiting area, but I usually walk home because it's right across from where I live. I'm so grateful to have found a trustworthy auto repair shop and highly recommend these guys.Services: Brakes, Air conditioning, Auto maintenance

September 2022.Rene and his team just made my 22 year old recently purchased Subaru Forester run like new. It was a rusted out mess that would scare off most mechanics. Amazing. Thank you Toy Shop!Update!They still have our trust.We had not serviced our 2007 Lexus in 6 years beyond tires and oil so I was nervous about telling The Toy Shop to do a comprehensive check out. Yep it needed several things. But it all made sense and we were given a comprehensive list in order of importance for safety not price. I trusted that and completed the first stage of filters, front brakes, brake fluid flush. I am so satisfied and confident in their work. Old fashioned integrity. After reading the wonderful Yelp reviews, I decided to try the Toy Shop for my Tacoma gear shifter repair. Well I'm sure glad I did. The Toy Shop staff were very professional, kept me informed, and they were spot on with the diagnosis of the problem and solution. Truck is working like a charm, and it was a VERY good price, too. Brought my Toyota Prius here for significant repair. I picked them based on their high ratings and significantly lower quote for the needed repair. The service was excellent. They delivered the vehicle on time. Now, the car runs great so I'm confident of the work they did, as well. I came to Toy Shop for an oil change. They re so nice and thorough. Jeremiah is really nice and took care of my car. I waited in the lobby of the office while they worked on it. It s very clean and while the shop is near other shops, it s surprisingly pretty quiet. I was able to read on my phone without any loud interruptions. I ll be coming here for my oil changes from now on.

Employees at the Toy Shop are always extremely professional, honest, and reliable. I trust them implicitly. They stand behind their work. They go above and beyond the call of duty and do extra small things for no charge. I couldn t be happier with the work they perform on both my cars. Great, honest service shop that I've been going to for 15+ years. Jeremiah services 5+ family cars and ALWAYS does a great job. Recently my son's check engine light came on and we dropped it off to get it checked out, an hour later we got a call that my son didn't securely close the gas cap which caused the check engine light to illuminate. Jeremiah ran the diagnostics test, spending his time and then didn't charge us a dime. You will not find a more honest shop in the South Bay!!!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes

I searched for a fair price to fix the broken electric power steering unit in a 2012 Hyundai. First I went to Pep Boys and they wanted $2,000 because they wanted to use a NEW power steering unit. But I wanted someone to fix my broken unit. Then I found Toy Shop and over the phone they understood what I was saying and they had experience with the repair on other Hyundais. The price was $243 and they did it in 3 hours. So there you go. Super deal and good timing. Very happy with The Toy Shop.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Electrical

This is now my go-to mechanic garage in my area. Until I found this place, I was usually going up to a place in Sherman Oaks for anything more than an oil change. But in early 2020 I had an issue with my wheel bearings that put my car out of commission near my house. So I had AAA tow it to the Toy Shop, based on the reviews I read. Long story short, I ve been to see them a few times since. Always quality work at a fare price. No BS.

Whenever I've made an appointment for service on my 2009 Camry or 2012 Tacoma I received excellent service and at costs I could afford being retired and on a fixed income. I would not hesitate to recommend The Toy Shop to family and friends. Alternator failed and they were able to take in my car the same day. Parts were ordered and services were performed quickly. Gave updates on the status of my car throughout the day and was able to pick it up the next day. Excellent service. A+

I had a variety of things that needed to be repaired on my 2008 Lexus ES350. These items were suggested on my last visit. I trust the judgement and advise from Jeremiah. Even though these were big ticket items, I know that the work was needed and done right.
