Customer service was poor at Penske Cadillac!Trying to negotiate an online dealon a 2024 CT5; Was like pulling nails! Photos couldn't be provided as requested etc..I gave up on pursuing a deal.That was my experience.Best of luck Bob

Drove to Torrance to test drive an XT6 at advertised price of $34995. After test drive Daniel the sales rep. Says by the way Penske puts these extras on to protect the car, $2000 more. Otto the sales manager wasn't any better, suggesting maybe I should go back to Infiniti and buy a car there. Will do Otto, as long as I don't do business with this dealership.

I had a 7am appointment, arrived 15 minutes early, and was the first one to the service drive. I was immediately greeted by a proficient gentleman, but some of the cars behind me had requested this service advisor so he asked that I be passed to someone who did not have assigned clients. No problem, but ends up being a big mistake. I ONLY needed an oil change, and also heard that the car behind me was there only for the same thing.They took his car back immediately, mine sat on the service drive for 20 minutes while my service advisor tried to complete the paperwork. She seemed overwhelmed (even for just an oil change. The car behind me was actually in and out in about an hour. After 2 1/2 hours, my car was still not done! Went to the service drive, obviously forgotten about and told it would be out shortly. Didn t leave until almost 10am.My GM purchased oil change plan was not accepted in full, it was last time (and this advisor had the nerve of blaming the last person that took care of me for not doing it right, it that person took care of me as a customer and I came back. I was hoping to use this dealer for service, I could have been quoted for new tires, but I was not. I have even have been considering trading in my current 2016 Escalade for a newer model.I WILL NOT even consider Penske Cadillac for future service (no big deal) not the trade in and purchase of a new Escalade ESV.

This review is more of the sales person at Penske Cadillac that the dealership itself, but Penske is far and away on the best dealerships we have been to.Starting back in November of 2020, we went to Penske Cadillac and met with our sales person Phil Day. Phil was aware that although we were shopping for a new car for my wife, we were not in any rush as our current lease on our Lexus RX 350L was not final until March of 2021.Phil still took the time to engage with only us, not to be distracted by calls or anything else and let us view several different models of Cadillac before we finally decided on the XT6 and even that was not set in stone as we went off to look at Volvo, Hyundai, Genesis, Lincoln and Mercedes.He was always so positive and patient with us as we threw different numbers and makes and models that we were comparing the XT6 to the competition. He encouraged us to make sure we thoroughly researched and test drove every vehicle we were interested and offered at any point and time if we wanted to revisit his dealership and test drive the XT6 again.After 3 months, we decided on the XT6 and the specific color of the Dark Moon Blue which was difficult to find. Phil never deterred nor did he ever give us any less confidence as he not only found our exact make and model with the options we wanted, but an outstanding lease to go along with it.He even offered to deliver the car to our home so that we would not have to go to the dealership, especially with COVID still out there.I have to say that if it were not for Phil we would not have gotten our XT6. He made the sale experience not a "sales-pitching" experience. We enjoyed our experience so much so that when it is my turn to get a new car, I will go wherever Phil is first and last. Thank you Phil for the great car and the most comfortable and least challenging purchase of a car ever. Penske Cadillac, if you are reading this, make sure you reward that young man. Absolutely fantastic.

I had a wonderful experience at South Bay Cadillac. I was in and out within two hours, from looking at the car to finalizing purchase. Stacey did a great job in getting me the deal I wanted with all of the terms I asked for, and was very professional in explaining everything to me through the whole process. Even went over all of my new 2024 CT5 features before I left the lot. Very easy experience which I truly appreciated the whole staff. Thank you Stacey and team for a great experience, I will be back when the time comes

Penske outside of the body shop, something is missing! I called to speak with someone to find out if there has been any recalls and or compliants about the sd card. Instead of allowing me to speak with a expert, the secretary/ security guard would not forward me. She told me I have to make a appointment. A expert on the matter could tell me something that would not require a appointment or NOT but give the option. BUT the secretary/security guard told me I have to make a appointment. Outside of the body shop, something is missing. I sincerely pass them and go to Martin Chevrolet for everything GM related but I tried to give it a chance.

Very friendly staff work here. No add on, no hidden fees. They can negotiate little with you. Better than other dealers. Ask for Da-costa Vroom and Athor.They will work with you. Will give you good deal. You won t be disappointed.

Terrible service. I ve been trying to contact the commercial department for almost a week and they never answer the phone. The regular sales department always saves my number to call me back and I haven t received any email or call so far. It looks like they don t wanna get a commission selling a brand new car, that s crazy! Worst customer service ever!

Wow , what a terrible costumer service in the parts department. Today Wednesday January 24, 2024. I called to ask about some parts and the person who helped me was so incompetent, ignorant and rude . He couldn t give me the right information I needed about the parts , then I asked about the part number to look it up online to see if it was same as the one currently installed in the vehicle he said he couldn t give me the part number because I would go and buy somewhere else and hung up the phone . He didn t let me explain why I needed the part number for.Avoid these incompetent people at this dealer .

I live in San Diego, but took my car to Penske Cadillac South Bay because my dealer in San Diego gave me the run around. I have a protection plan I pay monthly for and Penske South Bay decided to honor it!They did a beautiful job! More importantly, they kept in constant contact with me throughout the process.Special thanks to Steve and Javier! Great guys, easy to work with and I would not hesitate to see them for regular services as well!Shawn

If you ever shop for a car, you know it can be a tough task. Working with Harout, Atto, and Phil was an absolute breeze! Extremely friendly, knowledgable, helpful, and all around great people. They made the purchase experience smooth and easy. One of the best experiences I've ever had. They are truly the best people to interact with when buying a car. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a true Cadillac shopping experience. Don't buy used or brand new vehicles from this dealership because you'll be paying more out of pocket and don't believe Jake vehicle manager and also Rey Gonzalez sales manager. They'll lie to give false information on there cars thats already broken when before you leave the lotI have all the information on the cars and workers that ll lie and not give you the right information on carsAlso they ask to talk, I sent a email and no response back. The lack of caring and lack of response to get feedback.

In purchasing a new Lyriq, I found Daniel to be incredibly easy and straightforward to work with. He understood what we were looking to accomplish and worked with us to achieve a good experience. Very happy indeed with the service provided to us and happy with our new Cadillac.

I had a below average experience at this dealership. I am in the process of looking for a new daily vehicle and shopping against M5. I ve had a car from essentially every brand and have never been to a dealership where effectively every single car on the floor had a dead battery. They were nice enough to manually open one of the cars so I can sit inside it but didn t want to be bothered jump starting it or accommodating a test drive. They told me they will work on it, so I headed to the Porsche dealer to give them some time. They even texted me telling me they will let me know me know when it s available. I followed up with a text but never received a response. In contrast, I was able to test drive a Porsche w/o any hassles and their vehicles were in good repair.I am trying to give American brands a fair chance but this was not a good experience and makes me apprehensive to drop six figures knowing that the service will be so inferior in the future.

Buying my pre-owned Mercedes from Penske Cadillac was a delightfully pleasant experience. Staci and Carinna were forthcoming with answers to all of our questions and showed genuine interest in making sure I was satisfied. My broker, who happens to also be my nephew, assured me that that I was given the best deal possible. He was thoroughly impressed with the level of professionalism on display during the transaction. If I ever have the need to purchase a car, I will apply to Penske Cadillac first.

Overall pretty decent dealership but to anyone looking for a car I would not recommend Synath (Stacy). She acted as if she was doing me a favor by selling me a car, rushing me in the process. You would think a car salesperson would be pretty decent, at least just for the sale lol.

bought a used CTS V sedan for pleasure since I have 2 vehicles and first day driving noticed reverse wasn't working properly then at all so let them know and they fixed transmission problem then when picking up vehicle air bag was on so they told me to come back and we'll get it fix ,it was really late so I didn't have a choice then I decided to stop at mechanic to scan vehicle for a diagnosed on transmission problem and any other problem there was 3 errors 1 on (P0033 is a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) for "Turbocharger or Supercharger Bypass Valve Control Circuit) and 1 on (The MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) illuminates the instrument cluster with P023A and associated codes when it monitors a condition outside of a specific range within the IC's coolant pump control circuit)as well as the air bag BUT NO TRANSMISSION ,MECHANIC ONLY DIAGNOSED WITH SCANNER -DID NOT WORK AT ALL !!!go back to dealer and let them know and they tell me there's nothing wrong with car mechanic was just trying to rip me off ,now I'm contacting bureau of automotive repair .... BE CAREFUL ALL THEY DO IS RESET VEHICLE COMPUTER SO YOU WON'T SEE PROBLEMS LIGHTS FOR AWHILE and buy vehicle then later you'll still dealing with the problem...

Jim Galley at Penske Cadillac South Bay gave me the best car buying experience I've had yet! This was my 3rd time looking for a new car and had already leased within the GM family. I was preparing to return my 2016 Buick Encore as the end of term was approaching, and I was ready to move into the Cadillac family. Jim rewarded me for my loyalty, took care of my Buick a few months early, and got me into a 2019 Cadillac XT5. We test drove a used SRX (my dream car for some time), but once we got in the XT5 I was blown away by the updated technology and luxury feel of the crossover. He was super knowledgable, professional, patient, and friendly. Between the test drives and all the paperwork, we were at the dealership for a few hours, but Jim took care of everything along the way. The most important of all was that he was a family man, and he treated me like family from the second I walked in the door. I could not be more happy with my experience with Jim at Penske and my brand new car!

Tyler C. is the greatest car salesperson I have ever dealt with. I was in the market for a top trim Pilot, and my brother wanted me to check out some comparable Cadillacs and GMCs before buying. He was nice and patient, showed us several cars, answered any questions we had and then didn't pressure me at all. This is how all salespeople should be. Thank you, Tyler. Really appreciated your time. Seriously, the best experience I've had and I didn't even buy.

I had a bad experience at this dealership a few weeks ago, but Ray called me up and made a very good recovery. I am now happy and looking forward to having the Lyriq I ordered arrive, hopefully in this calendar year. Things don't always go well, I believe how a business responds when there are issues is a good way to judge them.

Loved the ease of dropping off and picking up my vehicle. The staff is very friendly. Brought in my car for an oil change and brakes. Of course the dealer finds more repairs with the complimentary car inspection, but having bought my car used, it was appreciated of the other suggested maintenance which I decided to do. Also, I thought I needed shocks and was actually told they were fine. So I appreciated their honesty! I will definitely go back. The only reason for 4 stars is I had to initiate the call to follow up on status of vehicle. I had dropped it off the night before and then called at 2pm the next day.

I ve been a Long time customer Penske sold me a 2014 Yukon for my 17 year old son. Transmission went out with 6 weeks of purchase. They wanted to charge me $8,900 on a transmission..I am a loyal customer with excellent credit and they made me feel like a sub prime borrower. I ve been involved with buying or leasing 5 trucks since 2020 from Penske and they really dropped the ball on this one . I have all of my trucks coming due on their leases this year and needless to say I won t be coming back to Penske. So upset with this experience.

I have come to this dealership for service a few times, I am amazed by their customer service and by their excellence. I drove 80 miles to be here. I have been to several places in the past but there is nobody like Penske. My service advisor was Reggie, it is always a pleasure to do business with him. He is extremely knowledgeable and careful and he knew exactly what my vehicle needed as soon as I pulled forward. They are all very nice and give you the right attention. The service was amazing and they made my routine maintenance worth it, car runs even smoother and great! They really care about the vehicles and they know exactly what to perform on them. Reggie was very apprehensive of my needs and made sure I was satisfied with the service. This dealership is the best, they never fail to amaze me by their outstanding skills. Great job on my vehicle and excellent price as well! I can't see myself servicing myself anywhere but here, at Penske Cadillac. You are the real Mark of Excellence.

Penske Cadillac of Southbay service advisor Robert Wright was very friendly and professional. He listen to my concerns and was helpful my screen was glitzzing with the staff together they were able to find the problem in a timely manner their suggestion and replacement was great so we negotiated a good deal and was greatly satisfied. Penske provided top quality service for my ATS. Keep up the outstanding customer service !!

I have posted about this dealership before. See all reviews. Came at 8 for oil change its 10:21 they still don't have it ready. Alot of ppl just walking around talking. Don't buy from this dealership until you like 3 to 4 hours for a oil change. Just riduclous

Awesome service, personable staff, and fair pricing. I found a very low mileage, used vehicle and traded in my car for a fair value. Arman made the entire process easy. The GM, finance, and porter were all helpful and friendly, going out of their way to make us comfortable. I was able to get a contract with option to go through my credit union within a specific time period, which I did to take advantage of a better rate. Everything was easy, no pressure. All of my questions were answered, and even the loan officer at my credit union was impressed with how fair the price was. I highly recommend seeing Arman.
