I had an appointment on 10/4/2023 at 8:30am. I got there a little early but was seen right away. The advisor who helped me was Alisa. She was very sweet and informative. I was done in about an hour. I love going to this Nissan.

My service rep, Rick, greatly exceeded my expectations. I was very leery of taking my car into the dealership, like every woman worried about upselling. But that did not happen and Rick spent quite a bit of time explaining to me what maintenance would be needed in the future and also researched tires and suggested a brand with the best price and the best rating.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection

I had an11:30am appointment I wasn't seen tillAlmost 12. Chris said can I help you when I walked in I said I have an 11:30 appt! He said I'll be with you shortly, I waited, waited he never returned so I started to make my exit went back to my vehicle . Then Mark asked if I'd been helped I went on a rave he calmed me down. He was effiant, kind, knowledgeable and professional. I'll return for his service professionalism!

I had to come to this dealership to take care of a recall on my Nissan Rogue. I had called 2 other dealerships before that were closer to where I live and they both told me they will check and call me back and I never heard back. Anyway, with this dealership, I was able to make an appointment within a week of my first phone call, they were nice enough to reschedule the appointment once due to a conflict I had. On the day, Chris told me the remedy could take anywhere from 2-4hrs, most likely towards the 4hrs, but the car was ready in less than 3hrs. It was a Friday and Chris had left for the day by the time the car was ready but the other service advisors were kind and helpful in finding my paperwork and getting me out the door. My experience was definitely worth the drive and inconvenience of having to kill time nearby.

Made appt for brakes to be checked. Was told I needed 4 new brakes. Since I didn't have money for 4 I was told the rears could wait for a while. I elected to do just the front brakes thinking I would have the rears done next month. When all was done I discovered all 4 were done. The service writer told me I signed for all 4. He never explained anything about what I was singing for. I felt as though I was lied to and robbed.

Dropped my car off for repairs which cost $1800. Called 2 days later to find out when it would be finished.Was left on hold 4 times. Disconnected once. I finally got a hold of someone who promised to call me back with an answer but they never called back.Very disappointed.

I went in for an oil change special, but hadn't realized the other benefits of going into my dealer. My service advisor was kind enough to explain why the "oil change" took longer. It's because they do an all points check on critical areas. They issue a document detailing things needing attention now and a heads up on upcoming needs. Since I'll be needing tires soon, my advisor (Richard Burns) took the time to research and print a report for me with four brand options and even explained the the least expensive option actually had the best rating. Definitely changed my mind from "never coming again" to "continue loyalty."PS they washed my car too.

I have been a nissan customer for over 15 years. I am in the military and move often, but I can often rely on the quality service of a nissan dealership. However this experience did not go well. After driving in the rain for a long period of time the week prior, my vehicle wouldn t start. It wasn t the battery, so I took it to Nissan to see what the issue was. The original estimate was $250. They couldn t find the issue. So the next day the service advisor ask if I wanted a tune up & spark plug change. The total estimate of service was then $700. Once I received the call that my car was ready, I went over to retrieve my car. My service advisor wasn t present. The gentlemen that handed my invoice couldn t explain the pricing. It went from $250, to $700, to over $1300. The invoice showed the tune up being only the changeout of spark plugs ($600) and a gasket cover ($770) plus taxes. So in the end, the reason for my vehicle starting is still unknown. The cost went $1100 over estimate. I did not receive a multi point inspection report. And, days later, my check engine light came on.

Was WAY over quoted. Got a second opinion, the mechanical problem was not as extensive as Nissan told me. I was quoted $2900. Actual work needed ended up costing me $550. You all provide such dishonest service, not the first time.

Richard has been exceptional and patient when it comes to making sure my car is always properly maintenanced. I use this dealer for my regular services but also recently used them to repair my van after my catalytic converter was stolen. Richard went above and beyond to help me and make sure the process went as smooth as possible. Despite a few hiccups in the road dealing with the insurance, Richard always delivered superb customer service ultimately resulting in my continued service with this dealership. I also appreciate that he doesn t try to upsale me on services I don t need, his honesty and integrity remains solid and this can t be bought. After getting my brakes done here that resulted in all four wheels getting scratched I had taken extra precautions to keep my wheels from getting damaged again. Nissan of Torrance had repainted my wheels the first time they were scratched. This time when I got my brakes serviced again I had taped up my wheels and talked to the technician to be extra careful. To my disappointment when I got my car back I found that two wheels had been scratched again. My wheels were flawless after they were repainted and to see them getting damaged again is not what I was expecting. I am concerned each time I bring my car into this shop fearing what are they going to damage next?Service: Brakes

Service was average at best. I absolutely appreciated The Lyft service bringing me to, and from my home. It was, however difficult to reach individuals for the fact that phone number I was issued did not work. Besides being given the wrong number, the receptionist was very nice.

My air bag sensor under the seats went out, turns out it was more than just the sensor but also the control module and a few more parts. Chris ordered the parts and installed them under warranty. Excellent service - was not oversold anything. As someone who doesn t love using the dealer I would highly recommend this Nissan dealership for repairs when your regular mechanic cannot fix.Chris my contact was fantastic and I will go back here the next time there is a Nissan specific fix needed. I honestly was not going to go here because of some of the reviews. But I kept seeing 5 star reviews for someone named Manny. So I took a chance and pulled up to seek Manny out and only deal with him. As soon as I pulled up he was the first one to meet and greet me. He took care of all my needs and made sure I was comfortable during my wait. Not only me but the other couple of customers that he was helping as well. Manny & the service team at Torrance Nissan on Hawthorne are great. Very friendly & efficient with great communication & customer service. I get my oil changed regularly & appreciate how quickly they turn it over & even wash the outside of my car too. Manny & his team do a great job. I appreciate that all of my car s info is in their system so he always knows what I need. I also appreciate there is no sales push to get services done that are not strictly necessary or required at the moment but they explain all options clearly. Cesar was an attentive employee. He noticed I was waiting for almost 15mins by the waiting area with appointment line and asked if I was already being helped. I said no and he quickly attended to me. I was there for an oil change but showed me how bad my tires are. I was supposed to drive up North to visit family and advised not to or I would most likely get a flat or blown up tire.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

Not happy about my experience. Came in specifically for an oil change and the advisor attempted to sell me services for my car that aren t meant to be serviced until a certain mileage has been obtained, and it was only after he looked at my car for 5 minutes. Thankfully, I was able to contact someone who knew better and I informed Chris that those services were NOT needed at this time. He was clearly attempting to take advantage of me because I am a woman and felt that I didn t know any better. Shame on him! I plan to never come back to this location and will always share my experience to others (especially women). While I did continue with my oil change there, because I was already late for work and the service needed to be completed. But this a prime example as why people don t trust care dealerships.

Cris did a great job. I came in for a standard service and oil change and check why my rear windows weren't working, one of which was half opened. Cris quickly figured out that the security switch on the driver's window controller was in the wrong position. Ordered an exhaust tip for my Frontier and wanted to have it professionally installed. Alisa was great! She has excellent customer service which I really appreciated. My only gripe and the reason I gave 4 stars would be the price and time it took to clamp on the exhaust seemed a bit excessive but I suppose they have their reasons. I would just try to do it myself if I knew it was that simple. Other than that since it was my first time at this dealership I think it's pretty good. Best Regards!Service: Exhaust

I brought my car in for a recall check. And I mentioned my remote on the key wasn t working, he handled that for me as well. I left my car and Jimmy contacted me about my brakes, but I m not ready to change them out yet. He was really nice and made my experience smooth and worry free.
