Came to this shop because they have always done great work. Came in for a leak and was told it was from power steering system. $2k later, I still have a leak. They had my car for over 24 hours in addition to make repairs. Feeling upset and bamboozled.UPDATE: Returned to the shop. Dr J and his crew replaced the faulty rack and pinion. They also made sure no further leaks were coming from the power steering system. Changing my review to 5 stars Thank you Meineke Torrance

The service at Meineke is excellent. Easy to make an appointment, they see you promptly and get you an answer back super quick. Took car in at 8 and by 10:30 had diagnosed and changed an axle and done an oil change.! Highly recommend.

This Meineke branch is simply one of the very best places to get your oil changed. Justin (aka Dr.J) was fast, very friendly and informative. DJ was also highly efficient. Justin walked me through every step of the way so I knew what s happening and when he offered extra services it s only what s needed and never pushy like many other places. Best of all, the prices are very reasonable. Will definitely return. 2 Thumbs Wayyyyy Up!!!

This place has a terrible attitude towards customers and despicable business practices. Came in with a coupon they sent me for a free car battery check. Talked to the front desk guy/manager and he told me that the coupon doesn t apply to my battery and that it would cost a fee to check it. I asked why they wouldn t honor the coupon that after all THEY sent me and he just shrugged it off and mentioned some fine print or disclaimer. Basically letting me know they couldn t care less about my request. They also try to take advantage with repairs. Was here a year ago with a broken low beam light bulb. They gave me a quote for over 100 USD to replace it. Went to another garage and they replaced it for 20 bucks. You definitely can t trust this place and should compare prices at other garages. I definitely cannot recommend Meineke in Torrance (24005 Hawthorne Blvd)! Worst customer service I ever experienced!

Totally unprofessional. Worst customer service ever. They catch you with big outside advertisements for cheap oil changes. I was in a hurry and my car needed an oil change. The total price ended up being more than double of the advertised price. After that they try to hard sell you repairs you don t need. Said the spark plugs were bad (400 USD) and the rear shock absorbers were leaking and needed to replaced (1.600 USD). Very bad business practices. Went to another garage and was told spark plugs and shock absorbers were fine. Driving now for over 1 year without problems. Don t trust these guys or all those fake 5 star reviews (it s probably all from friends and family). They ll try to take advantage of you and hard sell stuff you don t need. I m not coming back. Customer satisfaction is the last of their priorities!!

They killed it on a Sat. I had known issues with front and rear brakes and shocks. From 8am - 9am they checked everything and showed me under the car what was needed. They had all the parts/kits for both rear drum brakes and front disc brakes in stock thank god. Also all my 4 shocks were wasted. They had new shocks in stock. Took care of it all by 2pm when they closed. I will not say it was the cheapest of prices, but I needed it done that day and they delivered. My 2014 Jeep Patriot Sport felt awesome when I left there. The brakes are perfect with no noises and the shocks performance was great. Rides smooth. The Torrance crew are good people. Thanks!.

One of the best repair centers here in the South Bay. Basic oil changes, brakes, engine diagnostics, engine and transmission replacement, AC services on both types of freons, these guys do it all and at a competitive price.

Very helpful, they worked with me on my financial ability and David was very gracious in my service and making sure everything got done. The young man that worked on my car was very polite, and I felt seen and heard, I don't know about other peoples common mechanic experiences, but to me this is the first *great* mechanic experience that I've had. Above and beyond service, for sure, God bless them!

Manager Dave Monarrez and his stellar team at your Torrance location never fail to satisfy. My husband and I have now been taking both of our cars to Meineke for over 12 yrs now, and Dave and his team have been consistently awesome!Their customer service is impeccable, their honest auto maintenance & repair assessments and their extreme attention to detail have saved us thousands of dollars over the years (and have saved us from a lot of stress and headaches) ever since we made the switch from having our cars serviced/repaired at our respective dealerships (Cadillac & Toyota).We recommend Dave and his team to anyone who ever asks us for an auto maintenance or repair referral. Keep up the good work!

Well it's the second time that I've taken my car to Meineke and got good value service it's hard to find a good mechanic shop. I would recommend Meineke to all my friends and family.... when you go there (ask for Dave) he'll take care of you and your car. Tell him Carl with the 1991 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am sent you.... thanks again Meineke.

Great service. Extremely competent and intelligent, these guys are quick to correctly diagnose and fix the problem. Extremely honest. I can't say enough about these guys. Dave and 'Docter T' run a great shop.

I have a classic muscle car that needed some work and I won't trust just anyone to work on it. After talking with Justin I knew I could trust him to do the work and he cared about my car. Went in for an oil change, writer (DBM) can't find a record of me when I remembered that the previous time I was there I was turned away. Probably because of my Groupon coupon, told me they don't have parts for my car. Excuse me, no oil and filter for a standard Camry sedan, just one of the most popular cars out there? So I never went back until last week as they seemed to be not busy after the pouring rain shower. Anyways, this time DBM wrote up a work order quickly; offered the advertised price on banner straightaway (no coupons), plus a $5 labor that's new but it could have been the same disposal fee other places add so nothing to fuss about. In the end I was in and out in less than 30 minutes and no hard sells. Quite pleasant. I will be back.

I've always used Meineke for my oil changes reasonable and fastHappen to be out of town in Reno and went to the Reno Meineke and he charged me twice the price of my regular guy 140 bucks!74 bucks with my local store....that guy should be shotStill feel like calling him and giving him an earfull

Service was slow. No time estimate. Left my oil leaking after change and said I could bring it back if you want . Not professional. Dishonest. Waste of time and money. Manager was argumentative.

I was really lucky to find this shop! I have a 1974 (46-year-old) Toyota FJ40. I stopped by and met Dave and they performed a free brake inspection, while I waited. My truck is so old it has drum brakes... I started by getting my parking brake cable and shoes replaced, old technology driveshaft brake. I went back for a complicated front disc brake conversion. They always kept me updated and provided excellent customer service. The whole team is outstanding Dave, Westley, Justin, Mike and the owner Paul. In short, great customer service, skilled technicians and very fair pricing. My old truck is way more fun to drive, now that it stops like a new one. I highly recommend this location for your automotive needs!Service: Brakes

This place LITERALLY saved my life. My car was very unsafe and they took me right away, fixed it same day (with little to no judgement) and helped me figure out the payment options. I would (and will) 100% visit again.
