When I think of a car salesperson, the first words that come to mind don t usually include warm, considerate and lovely with bonus points for being professional, knowledgeable and having a wicked sense of humor but that was before we bought our gorgeous and fabulous 2021 Chevy Tahoe Premier from Gilberto L.We had only become serious about purchasing a road trip vehicle during the previous week. We hit a handful of dealerships near our home in Northern California, spent a silly amount of time internet comparison shopping and had a fairly good idea of what we wanted and what was out there on any given day. When we unexpectedly found ourselves in the LA area, we couldn t resist taking advantage of the expanded search area but when we arrived at Martin Chevrolet, it wasn t with the expectation of actually driving home in our dream truck.There are so many moving parts attached to a major purchase like this and having Gilberto calmly allowing each layer to unfold in turn definitely reduced the stress level to nearly nothing. At no point did he make us feel pressured or rushed or even that we were in a buying situation; he didn t try to sell the truck to us, he just let us look and think and learn. He patiently explained the function of the 2,349 bewildering buttons and icons and educated us on all that a Chevy Tahoe could be once you mastered the entire array. When we returned from the test drive, rather than just letting me pull into a parking spot, he saw an opportunity to show me that I could successfully back this behemoth into a 90 degree space with vehicles parked in the two adjacent spots. Such a smart and impressive moment and not one that every salesperson would think provide for their customers.We left the dealership armed with a plethora of new information, much to discuss and contemplate and, most considerately, driving directions from Gilberto on where to find the Pacific Ocean and nice restaurants so that we could debate in a chill spot with a view.We chilled, we debated .and then we went right back and bought the truck.I give full credit to Gilberto for allowing us the space to make this happen so quickly. We didn t have to maneuver our way around his agenda and we didn t have to use up bandwidth doing so, he let us have autonomy and I can t stress enough how valuable and rare that can be when purchasing a vehicle.Thank you, Gilberto, you are a gem. We would also like to thank Mario O. for having a very cool desktop monitor and for zipping through the paperwork so that we had time to return our rental car and avoid driving two vehicles back to San Francisco. The ride home was truly magnificent.

The customer service at Martin Chevrolet is top notch. Richard Cabrera has been taking care of my family & myself for years. He goes above & beyond. I have plenty of dealers closer to home but still drive to an hour to Martin Chevrolet. I know I m getting honesty, open communication & I don t have to worry when Richard is taking care of my Tahoe.

My experience with this dealership was not good.On Monday, April 8, 2024 9:45AM I drove my 2023 Camaro to the Service Department to have my vehicle serviced, there were a couple cars ahead of me so I patiently waited however after all the vehicles were taken care of no one came to assist me after about 15 minutes another vehicle pulled up and was immediately taken care of.Needless to say, I drove off without any assistance. This was my first time visiting this dealership and unfortunately my last. Just a side note, I'm African American and I couldn't help but noticed that all the drivers that was being helped were Caucasians. DO BETTER MARTIN CHEVROLET!!

They took 5days to call me back regarding the issue with my car. Well it turns out that they left my car windows down over the rainy weekend causing water damage to my seats. I took the car in on 3/29 and had to call for an update on 4/03. No one called me to update me in between that time. After paying almost $1900 for new battery and 4 tires on 4/5, I noticed that my black seats and the headrests were white from being wet. I immediately called and left a message with the service advisor. Yet agai, n I received no call back. Unacceptable service! I will not be back.Dr. Shawnte Beacham-Houston

The price charged for work needed was far too high. Was attempted to be sold things my car didn t need. For an oil change and to fix the problem the quote to fix and the hourly wage was so wildly inappropriate. I dropped my car off at 0830 and received a call at 1630 my car was done and needed to be picked up before closing in 30 minutes. Will not be coming back.

Scott was very easy to work with. Friendly, professional, and met my needs perfectly. I'm very happy with the Chevy Bolt EUV I purchased. Martin Chevrolet is not the closest dealership to me (I live in Brea, CA), but I will definitely consider them again in a year or two when my wife will be looking for a new car. This is my 3rd Chevy from Martin Chevrolet because they provide superior customer service. I ve worked with Miguel each time. He is always professional, courteous and customer oriented. Jeff in finance is great, friendly and cheerful. When it comes to service, Mario always takes care of my cars since 2019. Lewis made the buying process, easy, simple and is trustworthy. All are personable, professional and will treat you like family. I loved both my Equinox s but decided on the newly redesigned sporty Trax. I absolutely love it! I ll be back in 2-3 years for my next Chevy!

How does this dealer have a 4.1 rating? This dealership is awful. Slow service pushy sales people. Most expensive vehicles in the county. Weak deals and poor selection of vehicles. I recommend another dealership. It's to bad that us south bay residents don't have a better option. Management is awful too.

It was a pleasure working with Chris Acevedo.We reached a purchased agreement in ~15min on email, then another 45 min in his office to get the car.I used to own a Bolt and thought I knew everything, but Christ still had me to test drive, during which he showed me the updated features and additional features -- really helpful and wonderful salesmanship and top-notch customer service!It will definitely my place for all my future Chevy vehicles!

I really want to thank this dealership for allowing me to get an Ally extended warranty on my 2024 Chevy 2500 ZR2 when Tracy Chevrolet where I got my truck from, would not offer it one bit when they can. Jeff was great, professional, and definitely dealing with him again in the future as he got this done. Even my mom bought her 2021 Z71 Tahoe from here and the buying experience with your staff is very professional. Wish more dealerships were like this!

I had a great experience at Martin Chevrolet purchasing my 2023 Bolt EUV. Louie, the salesperson that helped me was super supportive in managing and explaining the process. He was also very knowledgeable about the car itself and offered helpful details and user information. I had not found that level of knowledge and customer service during my search at other dealerships. Louie even did follow up texts after my purchase to make sure I was happy with the car. Really appreciate the customer service and expertise at this dealership.

Let me start by saying that the service department overall (service rep to the mechanic) were absolutely amazing! They are the saving grace and the only reason there is even a 1-star rating. Having said that there is a representative in this office by the name of Monika who has an office that is near the restroom. I was on my phone in a work meeting which was something I was told I can do by the Service Rep. I was on my AirPods and apparently was too loud for this employee who was in her office with the door open. Rather than coming to address me directly (had she done that I would have been happy to move away and be more quiet if that was bothering her) she decided to berate my spouse and I who could clearly hear her with her door open. My spouse heard everything she was saying as she didn't make it hidden her frustration. My spouse decided to confront her so he wallked into her office and told her that he could hear everything she was saying. She never apologized and instead decided to get louder with my spouse. The pertinent thing to do would have been to apologize seeing as that her behavior was highly unprofessional and address us respectfully. Regrettably that is not what happened and I want you to be aware that this is highly disrespectful behavior and something I Think you should consider addressing.

Louie my salesman was amazing from start to finish.Louie made my car buying experience very hospitable, friendly, and very professional. From start to fishing he kept me updated where the location of the truck was, as I bought it in transit; Till the very end of when the truck arrived. If I could give Scott Lomax 100 stars I would. I had been to three other dealers looking for the car I wanted. I can understand low inventory and I was willing to wait just do not appreciate the dishonesty that came from the other dealers. I spoke to Scott on a Tuesday told him what I wanted placed a deposit and that Friday I was driving home in my new Trax. The process was so simple and easy thanks to Scott.

Went to dealership to have my car diagnosed and felt like I received a lazy diagnosis. I already knew the transmission was bad (which is why I brought it in), but I was looking for something more detailed besides it needs replacing . Like, what specifically is wrong with it that requires replacement. Lady over the phone said the price of diagnosis would be $99, however when I showed up it turned out to be $225 instead.

Nestor welcomed us to the dealership and answered all our questions. We visited other Chevy dealers, but non welcomed nor acknowledged us like Nestor. He helped us make our decision without us feeling pressured. Nestor talked us through the steps and made us feel heard and validated. He understood our needs and helped us find the car we wanted. We were not prepared to purchase a vehicle that day, but he allowed us to think it over and we are glad we made the choice to purchase a bolt. His friendly demeanor made the experience less daunting and more fun. I will be recommending Martin Chevrolet and Nestor to all my family and friends. My husband is over the moon with his new bolt.
