I drive from Redondo to get my car serviced by Alex. He is one of the most fair and trustworthy mechanics I have come across. He truly wants his customers to just be safe and happy in their vehicles. He doesn't dig deep into pockets because he doesn't need to...The demand for business and the automotive expertise are there. L-Spec's receptionist, Haddy is always so friendly, honest and helpful- taking time to explain things even when it's not her job to. I will be taking all of my vehicles here with a strong sense of respect and peace of mind from L-Spec. Thank you greatly!

I m glad I found L-Spec when I moved down to Torrance a couple of years ago. The people here are honest, knowledgeable, and they really respect you and your car. They have 5 stars for a reason.

I contacted L-Spec over their website and was promptly provided a quote over the internet. I gave a call and scheduled an appointment and they were all so friendly. The work was done on time as promised and the car is not leaking all over the place so far. So far so good. I am happy with their service and would recommend them to anyone.Service: Transmission

Alex knows his stuff. I have a specialty car and can't imagine taking it anywhere else. He's fixed a lot of the work done by old shops and look forward to having my engine rebuilt by Alex because I know it'll be done right.

Great experience! Thenowner fired my issue that was cause by the previous shop getting it wrong. They are honest and have fair prices. I think they are not cheap but the knowledge of cars is fantastic.

Alex is the best and most trustworthy mechanic out there. I recently brought my car in for service engine light due to leak. He could not find the leak but spent hours trying to fix my car. The leak might be from a bad windshield install prior but he did not charge me for the work.Highly recommend him for his expertise and his honesty.

Had some work done here at L-Spec recently. Alex is extremely knowledgeable, not only on one vehicle or system but the industry as a whole.Typically I refuse to take any of my cars to a shop as I simply don't trust the overall quality or experience. Alex and his team though have my full faith after the work they have performed. Further, Alex had fair prices that I would argue were lower than they should be for the skill level and quality his shop puts out.10/10 will trust my cars to L-Spec again.

Alex is the most reliable guy. An asset. I wouldn t go anywhere else even if I was paid to.My car needed a cv axle fix, Alex asked for a reasonable price for parts and labor. When he double checked the mileage on my car, he voluntarily told me that due to the low mileage I might have a manufacturer warranty, and I should pay a visit to an official dealership. Turns out I really have a warranty - and he just saved me hundreds of dollars.

Alex is one of the most honest mechanics I have have had the pleasure of dealing with, he even went out of his way to share advice and some website links to help with my car issues. I would definitely recommend L-Spec to anyone in need of good mechanic

Love going here. You allways get treated with respect and are given full honestly. Alex does not b.s. you and is very knowledgeable about anything in the car scene. I would highly reccomend going here, every penny spent doesn't come with regret like some other shops.

I went there to get a simple oil change. The mechanic and front desk were both very professional and very time efficient. I went there for an oil change but believe I found my new mechanic. Could not recommend this place more.

Alex is the man. He pointed out an exhaust leak in my Fiat 500 (not his specialty which shows he knows his stuff) and guessed a potentially cracked exhaust manifold. Sure enough I take it in for warranty work calling that out to the dealer and it was exactly that! Coming back here for as long as I work in South Bay!
