Hiro Auto Service is the best auto shop in California. They are organized, hard working and HONEST as the day is long. Additionally they often go above and beyond and fix minor things that were not requested or top off fluids at no additional cost. I love this shop and will not take my car anywhere else.

When I lived in Torrance, this was my go to shop for myself and my family. They are honest and helpful people who are reliable. I never once felt like they were trying to sell me unnecessary services or parts which is more than I can say from some other places I've been to.Highly recommend, and I think their rating and other glowing reviews speak the same story.

Hiro came recommended and I am so glad my husband and I made the switch from the dealer to here. It s so refreshing to deal with honest people that aren t trying to upsell you on anything. In my first appointment, I felt taken care of and that they had my best interests in mind. We will both be back!

Hiro Auto Service is an honest mechanic and finding a mechanic I can trust is worth their weight in gold. I took my car here for a second opinion after the dealer suggested a multitude of things were wrong with my car that I was skeptical about. I came here from a friend s recommendation and they performed a thorough inspection and explained everything well and honestly. They definitely just became my go to mechanic for our family s cars

Such great service! Went in to get a second opinion and a quote, since the dealership found an issue, and the guys at Hiro said my car was just fine! I will definitely return for any future service and recommend them to all my friends!

Hiro is by far the best auto shop I have dealt with. They aren't the cheapest but the saying "you get what you pay for" holds true with servicing your vehicle. Honest and quality work is what you will get with them

First time service, basic oil change, for Audi. Made appointment. Service was about 50 minutes, smooth check in and out. Basic surveillance done and was told all good other then 2 front tires are 15% life left. Just recommended to change by few months. Very happy with their service and basic oil change with synthetic oil was way cheaper then Jiffy Lube we have been using. We plan to change rest of our family s car to here.

This review is long over due, but greatly deserved. My family and I have been coming here for the past 5 years or so and the service is always great. They never push you into buying or repairing things that don't need to be repaired. They're such honest people and the staff is phenomenal! Thank you Hiro's Auto for taking such good care of our cars!

Very reasonable price, trustworthy, and mechanics give great advice. Even though they maybe able to accommodate walk ins, you should not do that unless it is a true emergency. Otherwise walk ins just make everything difficult. Be sure to make an appointment to make it easier for everyone, yourself included. There is a small waiting area. It is really meant for cars to be dropped off and not for you to wait around, so plan accordingly and arrange for pick up / drop off rides when you schedule your appointment. It is not easy to find a mechanic who is good and honest these days but Hiro Auto Service is worth FIVE stars.

4/28/2023: My immediate & extended families are still taking our cars; What I said backnin 2020 still holds true today Whenever someone ask me to recommend a mechanic, I always tell them about Hiro. It's even in the little stuff they do like checking the maintenance light info for free.12/2/2020: Great service at great prices

Hiro was able to diagnose my problem very quickly, and the diagnostic itself was free. I even ended up fixing it myself, but I'm definitely going to be coming back to visit if I have any future issues that need more major repairsI went back again a year or so later for a different issue; while the issue didn't present itself while I was there (so they couldn't guarantee they fixed it), Hiro helped adjust my brakes (which he hypothesized might fix it), and didn't charge me.. again!Hiro has the most professional and kind-hearted service I've ever seen. Would recommend to friends, family, and be a lifelong customer myself!

Yep, just like Will said. These guys are great. They run an honorable business. My wife and I have come to these guys for about 5 years now with 4 different cars (including her parents' van). Today I'm visiting them at their new location by Western and Sepulveda. My old alternator went bad. They won't BS you, sell you unnecessary services, and it's the ONLY shop I trust to have my wife bring in our cars. Very reasonable prices. I know since I used to work on my own cars before moving to a small apartment. A couple times now, I've asked them to replace something and he said, nah you don't need it yet! And they were right of course. I tipped a guy for doing an inspection and he wouldn't take it! Even though we've moved farther away, we'll still be coming here. I've referred them to many friends and no disappointments yet! What a blessing to have them in the community. Thanks to honest Robert and his crew!

After changing jobs over a year ago, I had to find a new mechanic that was closer to my home. I searched for a few weeks before settling on Hiro Auto Service. The great reviews and close proximity made it an easy choice. I am so happy with my decision. They have always been honest and up front with me.A little history: after the numerous oil changes they notified me that my brakes were wearing down and I should replace them.I was a little nervous since this was my first big job outside of my old mechanic. They put my worries to rest. They finished hours before their estimation and they charged exactly what was on the estimate. I was comfortable knowing my car was in good hands with them.Fast forward a year and I am planning on a going on a road trip. Needed an oil change and I wanted to make sure the car was all set. The manager tells me things look good EXCEPT for the brakes. One side was down to 50% but the other was down to 5% due to a caliper getting stuck. I brought the car in at 4:20 for an appointment and I'll be out the door before 6pm.What makes it even better was that since I had gotten my brakes done a year ago, they decided to only charge me for the parts and not charge labor. This amazing customer service is what will keep me a happy and satisfied customer for years. Thank you!

Hiro Auto is hands-down the very best mechanic I've ever had! We've been going with Hiro for 8 years, and I doubt I would ever go anywhere else. Professional in every sense, super clean shop, excellent customer service (Saul's the best), very reasonable rates, and they're always up front and transparent with what work you may need, never pushing anything you don't actually need. Lastly, and best of all, they finish the work when they say they're going to finish the work. Arigato-gozaimasu Hiro-san and to his whole crew!

Amazing place to have my car serviced, Saul is very nice,always help me to set up my appointment,, anyone can trust this guys ,they always check breaks and tire life, air pressure, signal lights,,just amazing work highly recommend this shop,thank u guys for ur great service

The prices are very good. They are fast and efficient in repairs. Friendly service. We have been going here for many years now. They work on Hondas and maybe other Japanese cars. And they have free coffee. Pretty good I say.

Hiro Auto had been our go-to mechanic for years. They have always been adorable and professional. Now that they are back open again, they are continuing to do great auto work. This guy is very happy they are still going

Hiro Auto is by far the most trustworthy auto service shop I've ever been to. The work they do is of the highest quality and extremely affordabe.I've been coming here for 3 years now (I come quite often because my 2000 BMW z3 has a bunch of issues) and I would highly recommend bringing your vehicle here.

Even though we got here at 11:40ish and had to wait a whole hour because they were on their lunch break. When they got back, this very nice japanese guy inspected our car (which was making a chirping/squeaking noise). Which turned out radiator belt needed to be replaced sometime in the future but not right away. He lubricated the chains and the sound went away. He assured us that there wasn't any danger but in the future to get the belt replaced which would cost around $80.Which was really cheap compared to what other shady mechanics claimed it would cost ( around $600-$800) depending on model.The overall process took less than 10 min and he didn't charge us. Would totally recommend coming here again!Just don't come around their lunch break because no one would be on duty to help you. I would of given 5 stars but just based on the fact that we had to wait an hour because no one was there to accommodate us I gave a 4.

Took the car in for a check before heading on a cross country road trip. They had us change oil and put in new spark plugs... 2 days later, we're broken down in the middle of nowhere in Arizona. Been a long time customer here for years, but sadly no longer and will never recommend this place. We called to see if they had any ideas what the problem would be, but they were clueless.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!love Hiro'sI have been bringing my 96 Camry, 01 Highlander, 11 VW Beetle, and even my 77 Corvette and these guys never disappoint are inexpensive and very speedy.My favorite story is where my Beetle had an engine service light on it that I couldn't diagnose and knew that the dealership would charge me at least $50 to just read the codes. I brought the car to Hiro and one of the mechanics just walked into the parking lot and scanned it right then and there! No Charge!!! Of course the car needed some work on it which we let them take care of but it was an awesome experience!!I'll forever take my cars here.

Great auto shop. Took a used car there one time and told them to find things that need to get fixed and all they did was an oil change and an airfilter change and it ran perfectly. Cant recommend them highly enough.

Great service. They may not do a 15 minute oil change but they check out your whole car and will not run up the bill for things you don't need.

Great place, Hero spent time on my vehicle to identify the problem, even though they were pretty occupied with other appointments.Hero even even didn t charge me anything,very generous!!! Thank you

I highly recommend this place If you have any repair problems take it there they are very helpful and vey honest. If you have car problem, don t take to the dealer. Don t waste your money!!!
