Last weekend, I drove down to LA for my son's tournament. I noticed my SUV started having high pitch noise whenever I pressed acceleration pad when I arrived LA late night on Friday. On Saturday night the issue still there and even worse, and I started to worry whether can drive back safely on Sunday. I googled auto repair shops and found George's Auto Care still open on Sunday and has very good customer review. So I decided to try my luck the next day. On Sunday morning, I went to the shop and told George my issue and I want drive back to San Jose on the same day. George is so nice and considerable, he told me he would work on my car right away and will have it ready the same day! To find out the issue, he had test drive with me immediately and I showed him the problems. He also noticed overheat issue on my SUV which I missed earlier. Then he did more diagnosis on my car and told me all possible causes and fixes needed, and ensure me again that I can have my car drive back to San Jose by end of the day. Since my car needs multiple repairs (thermostat/coolant temp sensor/transmission service), he even generously gave me discount based on original reasonable price. Later afternoon before 4pm (the store close time), I went back to pick up the SUV. He had one more test drive with me and found there still slight noise after all the repairs. He then recommended some more fixes to solve the issue. After more than 1 hour work, already passed shop close time, he handed over me my SUV and I drove back to San Jose without any issue! I strongly recommend this auto repair shop. Not only its convenient working schedule (open on Sundays), also George and his staff's dedication, honesty, considerable and reliability. This will be my No 1 auto repair place in LA area!

On Saturday, my Jeep started to overheat. Luckily I found that George's Auto-repair was open and willing to take a look at my car immediately, same day! I had several projects to complete in town and also needed my car early Monday morning. George went to work on my car right away graciously allowing me to borrow a vehicle to finish my errands. So very generous! Finding the problem with the over heating issue George took care of the fix professionally and reasonably priced with care and great communication. I highly recommend this business repair service for George's trustworthiness, knowledge, communication and dedication to provide honest auto repair. I found someone who cares as much about my van as I do! My previous mechanic retired and I was left in horror! It's difficult to find repair shops that know what they're doing. George knows cars period. He began the assessment of my van just by the sounds of me driving it into the garage. By the way, the garage can fit I think 10 foot or taller vans/trucks so George's auto care of Torrance is definitely van-life friendly. He fixed the brakes, engine seal, and steering parts; he fixed everything it needed. George is the type of mechanic that will see a bolt lose or replace a 5-dollar piece and won't charge you to fix it. He is like my old mechanic. I blindly recommend this repair shop. He had a BMW, a Mercedes, a dodge truck, and Hyundai. He said he can work on anything and I believe it!

Most trust worthy mechanic in town. Been going to him for years. Always gets the problem fixed and always surprises me with how fast he gets the work done. Most cases in one day!I highly recommend this place. Family owned and ran! I think they do 20% off for new customers

Deep scratches on car, & brakes failing! Left my 85 Cadillac in his care for electrical issues, brake job (caliper & brake pad replacement) and oil change. I return almost 3 weeks later to pick it up and it is scratched to hell! Certain parts from the interior were also damaged & stripped!!! Also the brakes delay when braking and a month later they gave out on me! $1300+ gone to waste, wouldn't recommendServices: Electrical, Brake service & repair, Oil change

George went out of his way on July 4th to help me and my family diagnose and then repair our Ford Explorer. Bad Water pump leaking Coolant.His repairs were spot on and he had me going in 2 days with repairs I was able to test, driving 330 miles to get home. No issues at all.Super nice person and helped when my family and I were super stressed during our holiday trip.Thanks so much George. You made a very bad day into a comfortable one by taking care of our vehicle.

My 2020 Tuscon kept blinking the engine check light even after getting it fixed just two months ago from another shop. When i went into this shop they fixed it immediately and also checked my tire pressure. Everything was done quickly and accurately. Im impressed. This is a great repair shop for car emergencies. George has never turned me away and his priced are better than other mechanics I have seen. He also knows cars and trucks better than other shops I have taken my car.

My 08 BMW 528i wouldn't start. The owner diagnosed the problem promptly and accurately, which was the starter and replaced it with a top of the line Bosch starter. I'm very happy with my service, wasa little apprehensive at first because other places I went were not confident about the diagnosis.
