HANDS DOWN BEST SERVICE I have ever had from an engine builder, Im sure you have all had the (I can do this and do that builder) never works out that way in the end. HOWEVER I got linked up with Steffan Owner of Ace Racing Engine 2 years back from a good buddy james taal. So when we decided to pull the trigger on making the switch to ls we looked no further than ACE RACING! this car has been out 5 events and had 2 wins 1 final semi appearance and a personal best weekend! The quality of work is unbelievable show room engine room when the product arrived I was speechless. IF you are looking for anything simple stock block 1000 hp combos up to 4000 hp big blocks they got you covered! Soon enough I will be going billet block myself. THE PROOFS ABOVE

I m building a high end show car and wanted to build a high end power plant and ended up chatting with Steph and when he was talking to me you can tell he was passionate about what he does..the amount of detail he spends on these monsters is second to non and that s what I was looking for we stayed in contact through the whole build and he even gave me advice on other things that are a part of the motor/turbo combo well after he dynoed the motor he blew my expectations out of the water his motor/build is a work of artThanks Steph and Laura .Ace racing engine fan for life

Can't say enough about Stef and Laura at Ace racing. These two are over the top amazing and talented at what they do. Stef built me one of the badess aircooled 2442 EFI turbos out there and I'm overwhelmed how well it turned out. It was definitely worth the wait. Stef is hands down ONE OF THE BEST ENGINES BUILDERS AROUND! Honestly don't hesitate to reach out and talk to Stef he more than willing to discuss all your engine needs!

I utilized ACE Racing Engines for a custom LC9 turbo engine build & had a fantastic experience. Stefan & Laura both went out of their way to communicate & provide regular updates along with full photo documentation as well as data documentation throughout the entire process of parts ordering, machining, assembly, & dyno testing. I cannot recommend their services highly enough. I will 100% be using their services again in the future should I need another engine built.

Stefan built a 2180cc air cooled customized engine for my 1964 restored VW bus. Stefan communicated with me during g the entire process and was transparent on any issue (mostly supply chain issues during Covid). In the end I could not be happier with the performance of my engine, Stefan s follow up and support. I highly recommend Ace-Engines. Chris S. Manhattan Beach

Steff went above and beyond. He rebuilt my 427 LS fast. Awesome communication. Pictures daily of progress. This isn't a 1,000hp build either...my LS pushes 2500hp and we beat on it hard. Thanks ACE RACING ENGINES Steff and Laura are truly stand up people!

At ACE Racing Engines, you're buying into a lasting relationship, not just getting a high performance, precision engine. Stef and Laura (Benny too!) have a fundamental interest in your program, not just your money.I started working with Stef mid-spring in 2022 to build a solution capable of some records our car is capable of now. I took this same approach with 4 other top-tier LS builders. Money was the last of our considerations. Having a capable platform was paramount. My first contact for each was exactly the same email, detailed and precise. It drew the immediate attention of two builders, but Stef is THE only one that resonated with me with more intelligent questions, not immediate canned solutions. This is by no means a comparison as to the other builders' proficiencies, because we don't run their product. What I do know is throughout the entire process, conception, build adjustments, wire transfer, timeline development, partnering with our Converter and Turbo Vendors, CA-FL delivery, through final billing, this was THE most "taken care of" I've ever felt. There just could not have been more transparency to the entire process!!Just like other builders, Stef faced uphill battles with product availability. However, while I watched other competitors struggle, Stef and Laura seemed to find what they needed in a timely manner, and were fully supported by their vendors as well. To me, that signified something larger than JUST being a good engine builder. That signified that EVERYONE supporting their business was interested in their success as well.Stef is like a kid on Christmas waiting for your results ... He's not only concerned about his product being up to the test, but he's constantly looking for feedback on how to make it better. I cannot overemphasize the fact that this feels like a bi-directional partnership. Now here's my caution. Don't go there looking for a Social Media discount as Stef enjoys competitive mindsets, not people looking for personal glory.My final testimony: I feel confident these guys will soon be in a place no other engine builder can compete with on process, precision, performance and price. I'm so confident that we're already looking to have a billet LS engine built for the 2024 future of The LawnDart�!! Take my MONEY!!

Stef and Laura are superb to deal with.Stef spec d and built a 427 twin turbo LS for us. His workmanship is superb, and keeps you updated all the time. The engine made good power on the dyno, as expected!We continue to speak regularly and he treats you more than a customer!

Stefan is a stand up guy very willing to spend time to talk about what works and will not work. Big props to ACE Racing Engines, had some initial problems with the heads and if it wasn t for his OCD with measuring everything it would not of been detected.

Ive just installed my awesome all new 2332cc turbo EFI motor, built by Stef at ACE. Stefs attention to detail, care and measuring of all clearances during the assembly of the long block is something that's rare to find these days. The advise given by Stef when choosing components really shows an expert in his field. If you want a hypo V8 or Flat4 built then give Stef a call. You wont be disappointed. Cheers Stef.

Steph and his team built my Gen IV Big Block, actually a Keith Black aluminum block, with Al Brodix heads. Calles crank and H beam rods, 496 cin. I was truly impressed by the detail and attention that went into the build, particularly as seen in the detailed build data package received with the engine. The engine was built with a Fuel Tech 550 sequential port injection and on the dyno run, I could see the large computer display detailing advance, air/fuel ratios throughout the entire rpm band. Great support throughout and after the build. Wish I had another engine to be built there!

Stef built me a LSnext 2 engine for my foxbody. The communication and attention to detail was second to none. I highly recommend everyone have an engine built by Ace.

I just recently received my 427ci Ls Next motor. It s like a piece of art. Steph s attention to detail is 2nd to none. Himself and Laura made the whole process very smooth and were tgere answer any questions I had along the way. I definitely recommend Ace Performance

Purchased a 2110cc from Stef and can wholeheartedly recommend him. All of his advice and experience show with every conversation from dealing with the initial spec to chatting about the install. The pictures from the build give me full confidence that I know what I have bought and it has been done right. Pulls like a train and finish is beautiful 10/10!

I came across this company on social media and was really impressed with their build process and attention to detail. So when I considered adding a turbo to my new VW bug, I new ACE was the place to go. This is my first VW, but not my first classic car. One thing I'm learning quickly about the vw aftermarket community is it's incredibly hard to get people to return calls, which can be really frustrating. ACE responded to my request immediately and answered all of my follow up questions quickly. Ultimately I may not go with the turbo, as my car may not warrant the investment, but if I ever need another motor for one of my other classics they will surely get a call.

Just collected my twin turbo lsx that ACE have built for my 71 nova.Really well put together, steff is very meticulous in he's work , really does know he's stuff !!Great communication through out the build process. Always updating you with photos and messages.Will definitely use ACE again for my next build !!

Stef built me 1915 long block for my Splitty. The engine pulls like a train. He was more than happy to provide advice, in fact he couldn't be more helpful. Having visited his engine room when he was based in the UK and seen his workmanship first hand, I have to say Stef is a true professional. Highly recommend.

Having had a previously terrible build on my 912 engine. ACE rebuilt it rectifying the mistakes of others as well as upgrading to better quality barrels while it was stripped.The difference is like night and day. I haven t had a chance to drive it as much as I would like to due to this year but got to drive 100 miles this week through the Surrey countryside. I cant wait to drive it more. Five stars for the work and the communication during the build. Many thanks.
