I m a new customer for Preferred Auto and having been with my prior shop for 18 years was a little nervous about working with and trusting a new shop but I m pleased to report that I had a great experience. The shop did a comprehensive inspection of my car and provided me with a detailed report that was easy to understand.I spoke with the owner Mark and his daughter Crista asking a lot of questions and they were both very helpful in helping me understand what needed to be done and why. Both excellent communicators.After having some work done on my car (new brakes and engine mounts) I drove the car away and was amazed at how smooth the ride is now. I trust the competency of this shop and will be bringing my car back in the future.Additional - I had another issue present with my car after getting the brakes replaced (an issue with the ABS sensor light). Mark and his office staff really went the extra mile to address the issue.Their customer service and professionalism are outstanding. I highly recommend this shop if you are looking for a new place to take your car.

Absolutely the best most professional and skilled shop in SoCal.Mark and his staff, especially Krista, kept me up to date on all work and estimates, which were very accurate.If the technician discovers that less work is needed, they will call you with a new lower estimate , validating their integrity.One of my cars has over 200k miles on it and will probably go another 100k, mostly because of Prefered Auto.I have total peace of mind because of this shop. Mark and his crew are very honest mechanics. My son's older model Lexus had some electrical issues with the battery. They corrected the issue and did a thorough exam of the vehicle. It certainly needs some additional work, due to the age of the car, but no pressure here. I am taking care of what I feel is best for the safety of my son, but I will definitely NOT hesitate to bring his car back for the other repairs. The ladies up front were super helpful too. Also, be sure to say "Hi" to Hank the office mascot.

As always, the service and staff are exceptional. We been taking cars to Preferred for 6+ years. Not a single complaint. We have never had an issue with our cars after leaving the shop. Friendly, courteous and fair.

I have been coming to Preferred Auto for over 25 years. Mark Miller and his crew are very knowledgeable, have high integrity, and are always looking out for my safety. I have a Honda Accord EX 2001 that he or Tony, or one of the other great mechanics, have been caring for all my 251,000 miles. I also love that he has his daughters working for him in the front reception area and they, too, are knowledgeable. Everyone there is committed to great service. It s great to have a mechanic you can trust!

Mom and Pop - Excellence-! Full service, very professional from start to finish. Gave a complete diagnostic overview of the work to be done and completed it on time and under budget. Can t go wrong doing business here. They even went as far as making a reservation for a local car rental!!!!! Now THAT s service.Highly recommend.

I highly recommend! I brought my Chrysler Pacifica in with some bad engine trouble and PAC was able to diagnose the problem quickly. Not only did they explain precisely what was wrong and what needed to be done, but they also told me that this appeared to be a design flaw with the engine and recommended I contact Chrysler which I did. I bring this up because they didn't have to tell me this. They could have just told me the issue and repaired it. My husband and I will be bringing our cars here from now on.

I have been using this shop for a few years now with two different vehicles. I really appreciate their straight forward approach, photos and explanation of what is important, what can be deferred and what they recommend. Best auto shop ever

Did the free AAA inspection with Preferred auto and they did a through job, indicating that I needed my brakes and tires replaced. I knew that I needed new brakes, but not tires. Because they offer a concierge service, which is very convenient, I decided to try Preferred Auto Center for the job. Mark was here promptly to pick up my car. They washed it before returning which was a nice touch. They also offer a AAA discount, which is very helpful with cost. Overall, I am pleased with their service. This was a great experience. Crista was the service advisor and kept me informed of the progress of my car s diagnosis. She went above and beyond to contact the manufacturer and find that the problem with the car was under warranty.

Preferred Auto is an excellent choice. They have great communication tools that keep you informed of your cars progress. After a recent repair of some leaks in our car had issues - they fixed it promptly a second time with no hesitation and no charge. I will go back for any additional work our cars need. Great service and extremely helpful and friendly. They knew I needed my car early afternoon and got it back to me. They kept me updated on the work all day and found work they previously quoted me on wasn't needed at this time. Fantastic experience. I had them inspect a used car before purchasing it. From the first phone call to make an appointment, it couldn't be a better experience. Very friendly and professional. On the day of the appointment, even a mechanic greeted me with a smile and I don't remember that ever happened at any other auto shops. Inside, the owner and Crista are friendly and professional. You won't be greeted by someone who would rather be somewhere else. After the inspection, they told me straight up to steer away from purchasing this particular car and explained to me why in simple terms. Overall, the best auto shop experience I have ever had.

This was my first visit and I was very impressed! They were highly recommended, so I thought I would give them a try. I called Wednesday, needing service (oil change, tire rotation) prior to the weekend. The receptionist let me know their soonest available was Monday, but would check to see if they could squeeze me in and would call me back Thursday. She called, as promised, and said if I could bring the car in 1st thing Friday and leave it, they could fit me in. They did a fabulous job and included a thorough 33 point inspection at no extra cost and had me ready to go by noon! The staff was super friendly and helpful too! BTW - I checked Valvoline and Jiffylube (in case Preferred couldn't take me) and found both to be more expensive for less service. I will be sticking with Preferred as their name really says it all!Services: Tire rotations, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

The best thing about this place is the sheer level of data and reporting they provide back to you. Getting an oil change also includes a really thorough inspection and you get a list of things to sort out ASAP, things that can be done in time and everything that is OK.They re easy to book online, have a data dashboard they give you post service and everyone are super nice and informative.

Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The feedback and updates were great. The list of service items and how the categories were listed helped me decide which items I should do now and which I could do the next service based on my future driving requirements. There never was any pressure to do any of the items.The Office staff were excellent as usual.

I was referred to this company by a friend. I have never had such good service! They offer a concierge service. The owner picked up my car from my work place and then returned it after they did the work on my car. They were kind, efficient, did good work and were timely. Their prices are competitive and better than most. I will be returning to them and referring people to them.

I had a really good experience here at Preferred Auto Centre. Crista was helpful and informative. They diagnosed the problem with my truck and recommended other services in their diagnostic. Mark and his crew are simply the most trustworthy, honest, skilled mechanics I've known. His front office (Krista and Charise - sorry about any spelling issues) are deep wells of knowledge and never leave you waiting on info about our vehicles. Our family has learned to frame our lives around this wonderful benefit - how we purchase vehicles, when we service ours, getting referrals for other work around town beyond their scope (tires, paint, etc), seeking advice on new cars and trucks, and it has paid off. I found Preferred Auto through a referral and was happy I did. It is always stressful when your car breaks down and needs to be repaired. They made the experience so stress free and also arranged for a rental car for me at a discount.
