We bought my daughter a used Lexus for her first car and Ken and his crew of heroes got it up and in running order in just a few days. He told me everything that she needed done to be safe and also what we should work on in the future to keep it running well. His quotes have been reasonable and he always does all he can to keep within our family's budget. We TRULY appreciate Ken and his team of pros and will be customers well into the future!Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair

I've been maintaining my cars here for 20 years now and Ken never disappoints! Ken is honest and will never try to do more work than is actually necessary, which I experienced before I met Ken. His pricing is fair and reasonable. He and his team work tirelessly every day to repair and maintain their clients' cars in a timely manner. I brought in my 2009 FJ Cruiser with a bad wobble while braking. Ken was friendly and helpful. They were able to get the issue diagnosed and repaired all in the same day. I got to speak with my mechanic Kory who was also friendly and knowledgeable. He gave me a thorough run down of the issue along with other little things going on with my vehicle and would eventually need repair down the road.The price was totally reasonable and they never tried to up-sale me or offer services that were not needed. I got the impression that the people I was working with were totally honest and dependable. I'm always suspicious of mechanics and feel that in this case I was in good hands. Unfortunately I don't live in the area or I would certainly bring my vehicle back to them for any future repairs. I fully recommend these guys!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have been with Ken for over 10 years now. Ken and his team are excellent mechanics and nice people. They treat customers with care and respect and yet have all the skills and knowledge of a service department at a dealership. Switching to Ken has been a very good decision.

We just moved to the area, and have been working on finding all the usual things - handyman, plumber, landscaper and, of course, a mechanic.When our car started making some funny sounds, we decided the mechanic was the one which couldn't wait any longer. We asked our neighbors for recommendations, and overwhelmingly the advice was to head down to Ken's on Thousand Oak's Boulevard.My wife called up and managed to get us in the very next morning: not only was Ken's team able to diagnose and fix the problem, but in the same day he was able to get the 5,000 mile service which we needed too.Ken was incredibly responsive, and patient with our many questions - I couldn't be happier! Ken and his staff continue to provide excellent service at a fair price. When I buy a car, I buy either a Toyota or Lexus knowing I will have reliable and reasonable priced service at Ken's. He and his staff treat my cars like they owned them, and while keeping the cars in reliable and safe conditions, don't push repairs before they are needed. When they tell me what needs to be maintained or repaired, I absolutely know it needs to be done. I would not take my car anywhere else.

I highly recommend Ken's. Honest technicians. I just wish they would service more models!4 years later: still using Ken's. Always very pleased.I've bought 2 cars in the past 4 years, and at least some motivation for getting Toyota's was knowing that was the only way I could have Ken as my mechanic.I hope Toyota dealers treat him nice because he certainly is strengthening their selling points...

My experience with Ken's is outstanding and without peer. His auto repair business is competent, timely and customer friendly. It's rare to find a customer friendly and sensitive business today. I have been using Ken's quality auto repair for about 10 years and after warranty repairs are completed, we always revert to Ken's

I am very happy with Kens service of my 2002 Lexus RX. He has been cooperative, reasonable pricing and gets the job done in the time frame promised. Ken and his team are superb - no matter what goes awry, their immediate assurance to "bring it in" and their follow-through on diagnosis is spot-on. Complex computer systems are no problem. They've had the skillsets to address any problems I've had with my several Lexus sedans. Second review but this one isn't for maintenance, it's for repair and Ken and team came through with shining colors for me. Last week I had a pretty exciting problem with my engine. I got a tow to Ken and he fixed the problem and got me back on the road the SAME DAY. He said I was lucky, and I must be, because his shop has always been the honest, reliable place I take my vehicles since 2004. Love these guys!

I have been going to Ken's Quality Auto Repair ever since the dealer I was going to lost my trust, which was just under three years or about 65,000 miles ago. The last straw was when I received an estimate from the dealer for $1,727 to replace two struts. The first time I brought my car to Ken I didn't say anything about the struts. He did his normal inspection and gave the struts a green check mark. It was not until 60,000 miles later that the struts needed to be replaced, and the cost, including the 175,000 mile check up was $328 less than the dealer's quote.At the 175,000 check up Ken told me that my battery would fail soon. Two month later that is exactly what happened. Fortunately, since Ken had warned me, I was sensitive to the warning signs. I stopped at a place to get the battery replaced and made an appointment for the next day. However, the car would not start when I tried to leave. So I ended up buying the battery and putting installing it myself. A much better alternative than having my batter die at work, which is not near an auto parts store.I'll be taking my car to Ken's for its 180,000 soon.

Ken is great. He was recommended to me by a friend. I now recommend him to all my friends. He is friendly, organized and professional and his people are always nice. He is done with the work when he says he will be which hasn't been my experience with many other Auto Repair places. He doesn't try to upsell me on anything but does warn me about upcoming problems my car might have - so far he has always been right. I have to say I always feel comfortable going to Ken's. As a woman you sometimes get a patronizing attitude from some mechanics - I haven't felt that at all at Ken's. I trust him with my car. I've been going to him for several years and have never felt the need to look elsewhere.

I ve been going to Ken for ten years. I m so happy that my brother told me about him.You get honest, excellent work, always delivered when promised, and at a fair price. Ken is a consummate professional and a joy to work with. There s no reason to take your Lexus anywhere else.

He s never taken advantage of us, is honest, reputable, friendly, & goes above & beyond what he needs to do in order to troubleshoot & fix a problem, all in a timely manner. The name says it all, they are QUALITY. Excellent customer service, reasonable pricing and quality auto repair. We have been going here for years, before that, when my new car was no longer under dealership warranty I asked everyone I could what mechanic to go to and the answer 99/100 was Ken's Quality Auto. It is a local small business worthy of greatness. They take care of their clientele and care about honoring the relationship by taking great care of the cars they repair. They bring dignity to the auto repair business by creating a mutually respected relationship between the business, the client and the car.

Ken's Quality are good honest people. They do a very good job at reasonable prices. I had an issue with my Lexus where by oil was leaking all over the engine compartment. I had the car towed to Ken's for repairs. He quickly assessed the problem and told me it was a warranty defect and I should have the dealer tow the car to their shop and have them do the work. I took his suggestion and the dealer covered the entire job under warranty including steam cleaning my engine. Total cost? $0. His honesty saved me a bundle of money and Ken didn't even ask me for anything to diagnose the problem (even though I offered). That's why he does all the maintenance work on my 2 cars.
