The most professionally run motorcycle dealership I have ever done business with, over the last 40 years. Never will you feel a sleezy moment, no matter which department you are dealing with. Solid professionals here. I have purchased 3 motorcycles from them over the last 5 years, and nary an issue. I can easily give them 2 thumbs-up!!

My experience with BMW of Ventura, especially following a previous unsatisfactory service at MotoClub Santa Monica, has been nothing short of exceptional. This dealership and service center, particularly thanks to the efforts of Red at the service desk, has reinstated my faith in professional motorcycle care.Red played a pivotal role in this positive experience. From the outset, she was incredibly communicative and took the time to help me understand the issues with my motorcycle in detail. Her approach to customer service is exemplary - she was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in ensuring that I was comfortable and informed throughout the process. The technical team performed flawlessly. They addressed and rectified the botched oil change and brake fluid replacement done by MotoClub Santa Monica with utmost precision and professionalism. The oil filter was secured correctly, and the brake lines were meticulously bled to remove the dangerous air pockets. Their attention to detail and commitment to safety was evident in every step. Moreover, the entire staff at BMW of Ventura, guided by Red's example, were friendly, approachable, and highly skilled. Their advice and insights on maintaining my BMW motorcycle were invaluable. It's rare to see such a harmonious blend of technical expertise and exceptional customer service. Thanks to BMW of Ventura, and notably excellent service coordination, my motorcycle is now in perfect condition. Their work not only fixed the immediate issues but also gave me a newfound confidence in its performance and safety.BMW of Ventura has earned my highest recommendation. They provide an unparalleled level of service, combining technical prowess with outstanding customer care. Any motorcycle enthusiast looking for trustworthy and skilled service need look no further than this exemplary team. If I can help it, ill never take my bike anywhere else again.

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. I have no idea why anyone would pay this guy to represent them or their brand. To start off, the sale's associate "finance manager" made up information about the bike I was looking at, as I had done research ahead of time. Then he acted as if I was beneath him and wasting his time while I was at the shop, barely answering any questions. He made sure to point out that they really only cater to LA elite who come in with people who just sign the paper work. To top it off when I started trying to negotiate a price, for a bike I would have bought, he started insulting me and telling me that I "de-valued the bike" by going for a test drive on a demo. He became totally unhinged and seemed as if he was on drugs. Then he told me if I buy it somewhere else he would never service it for me at their shop... don't worry I won't be coming back.

Doug and the staff at Ventura County BMW went out of their way to offer excellent service...literally. There was an issue with the battery in my new Royal Enfield so I called Doug to see if he had any suggestions. His response, "I'll be there in the morning." He drove 2 hours to my house to assess the bike and get it sorted out. Exceptional service. If you're considering a new bike and these guys carry it, I would HIGHLY recommend you make your purchase from Ventura County BMW.

Consistently high quality work from the always cordial and knowledgeable service department. I trust BMW Ventura with all of the maintenance work on my 2013 GS. They have kept it in tip top condition for 10 years and 86K miles.

I've come here a couple times to service my bike now. Doug at the service desk has taken his time with me both on the phone and in person to explain options, help me find the right tires for my needs, and ensure I had a full understanding of costs and processes. They're very kind and helpful. The dealership is clean and well setup. While I was waiting for service, sales reps weren't pushy and were nice and respectful. Overall a great vibe and they all seem like a great team. I'm glad they're my local dealership.

Researched a number of local BMW Motorrad dealers, looking for a smaller 2nd bike to roll around the neighborhood with, as my H-D VROD is not the quietest bike. Dagan Klipfel @ BMW Ventura was very responsive and accommodating to finding and acquiring the bike I was looking for. We exchanged a few emails and calls and the deal was done. Once the bike was located, a few days later the bike was delivered door-to-door. Dagan Klipfel and BMW Ventura, thanks for making my sales experience smooth and enjoyable. Cheers!

Spotless!! Great selection of bikes.Went in to compare 2 BMW models.Dagan, in sales, is one of those rare guys that knows EVERYTHING about the bikes and can explain it all in a simple way. Didn't feel like I was being talked down too. Will definitely be doing business there in the future.

Sales staff is nice and fair (But always do your research first and read the fine print; you never know!!).Parts department is small and they have to order may items but they are very knowledgeable.Their apparell department is very small. You'll probably be better served going online.I've only had to take my bike in one time for the initial service but the service department is fast.Over all, I a had a very positive experience purchasing my new bike from them.

Updated review after a follow up:I brought my GSA to Doug in preparation for a trip to Patagonia. He took the bike in on a short notice and done everything that was reasonably possible in one day. However, when I made it to Guatemala a couple of months later, I experienced Fuel Pump Controller failure after a heavy tropical rain. (BMW of Ventura techs replaced the fuel pump and they were the last people who touched it. When I took the FPC off, it looked like the gasket wasn t installed properly and water with dirt was able to get in, but this is a speculation as I cannot prove it that it was installed incorrectly by BMW of Ventura, although the coincidence is alarming) Was stranded in a small village with bike stalling so I called Doug while paying 3$ per minute with a plea for help to try and figure out what the issue could be. He s answer was an immediate and disinterested I have no clue I posted a question on ADVRider where I received multiple responses within 30 minutes directing me to FPC pump, which was swollen from water in it. There is an easy way to make a bypass with tools available in every village. The pump was promptly dried, another one ordered and trip continued.I find it very strange that Doug made exactly zero attempts to help out a stranded customer in distress and hung up when it seems to be a common knowledge about poorly designed placement of a FPC.My assumption is that BMW of Ventura is only interested in helping you when they your credit card in their hands, racking up the bill. If you need any help after you paid your bill and left, you would not get it at this placeThat and a suspicious failure of FPC after they touched it, makes me revise my original 5 star reviewFirst (and irrelevant review i left originally):Excellent customer service and reasonable price for the skilled labourThanks Doug!

This is a good motorcycle shop. I brought in a 19yo BMW that I had just bought with no service records for servicing and to repair the brakes due to deterioration from age. They put great high quality stainless steel brake lines in and did a full service and the bike now runs and rides great - the Brembo brakes have amazing feel and stopping power now. Doug and Cameron in service run a tight, ethical ship and they will be honest and truthful with you. This shop is a bit pricey but not out of line considering it is a genuine BMW shop with the highest quality standards. They do top line work - recommended.

I Drove three and a half hours to purchase two motorcycles, and these guys made sure everything was taken care of every step of the way. Tim and Dave had our paperwork ready to go, prepped both motorcycles by the time we arrived, and the staff was awesome. We got an amazing deal on two motorcycles, and they even helped us secure the bikes for transport since they were not being driven back home. They even gave us custom BMW shirts, keychains, and a nice leather owner s portfolio to go with the bikes. Overall, the guys here are great, and I will definitely be buying another motorcycle from them again in the future. It was definitely worth the drive!

It took me a years to write this review. I have been going to BMW motorcycles of Ventura for over a year now. I came to the realization of how expensive they are and how much they overcharge you for service. They are not truthful about their pricing upfront. They will give you a high estimate first and then they say the price will be much lower then the work is done. Which never happens. You end up paying the high estimate. There were instances when the work should only take literally 10 minutes for a tech, and Doug charged me $80. It s obscene what they are doing there. So watch out for over chargingFinally, the guy David at the parts is the most rude sales person you will deal with.

The worst service ever. This people don t care about customers. They perform oil change service, after run 400 milles the dash board shows that my motorcycle needs service. What they did? No idea. But for worst they didn t attend my request to see what was happening. They said: you deed to pay for the whole service again to let me know whats happening.

Returning costumer to buy a 2nd motorcycle here at this location. Total of 3 times at this dealership. Costumer service really bad as prior visits. More than 20 min walking around checking the inventory no one even said good morning. Or Welcome etc. last time trying to do business with this store.

Just bought myself a BMW (not from the dealer) and had some questions about the bike and wanted to buy some matching gear(from the dealer). The guy in the service department was positive and outgoing, gave me lots of info with the electronics of the bike, but that's when this other guy came and scolded HIM to make ME wear a mask (cause Corona) while we are OUTDOORS and are standing 6' apart. I get it, the pandemic is a serious, real thing, but c'mon.Later, I put a mask on the go inside, and sanitized my hands to be clean because they provide it at the door (thank you BMW) I went to try on some jackets because my paycheck was burning a hole in my pocket and wanted to drop some cash on a heavy leather jacket. But as I was looking at the jackets, the same guy who was scolding people outside to wear a masks, came over and scolded me in a very frustrated tone just under yelling that we can't try on or touch the gear. His explanation was if we didn't buy the gear, he would have to store it for 3 days and put it back out (cause Corona). Which I get, but if you took a second to take that massive stick out, you'd realize that you can't SELL the merch, if people can't TRY IT ON. Which made me feel like he basically looked at me and made the determination that I wasn't a buying customer. So I immediately went from "Take my money" mode to "f*** this guy, I ain't buying sh**" mode.Last, I went to the front desk to ask another gentlemen about final drive lubricants and maintenance questions, he was nice and answered questions to the best of his ability with the lack if knowledge I had to ask the proper questions, only to be interrupted by the SAME guy who had to chime in on his vast knowledge because knowing each bike and what it does, makes a big difference, when in the end for my question, it didn't, I just wanted to know what kind of gear oil to use.Boiled down, it's like this, this super clean, generally friendly and outgoing staff, rad bikes and cool geared up shop was overshadowed by this ONE employee made my entire experience at BMW motorcycles of Ventura feel strange, borderline hostile and finally the feeling of your kind isn't wanted here. But even with all that greatness that the shop provided, I rode away with my head jaded by this one guy who tainted my first experience at the shop. But thank you to everyone at BMW who was kind and helpful.

Doug, in service, answered my questions and walked me through a specific operation on my bike over the phone. Huge help and handled it professionally unlike bmw Long Beach. Thank you Doug!

If you re considering a BMW or Suzuki do yourself a favor and choose these guys. Dagan, Doug and the GM are some of the most kind and real people you ll find at a dealer. If you value a simple, friendly and low stress experience - you owe it to yourself to give em a call. In the midst of global shipping and logistics delays, they did everything in their power to make my dreams a reality.

I really can't say enough about this place to do it justice.BMW Motorcycles of Ventura County is not your typical dealership. It is a place where one goes to visit have fun and learn. If you are into motorcycles, of any brand, I would suggest you come spend a Saturday morning visiting and talking to the stream of other customers that are coming and going all day. Just about everyone has a story they are willing share.Although the staff is pretty darn busy on Saturdays, they are always ready to talk shop and answer questions in the full capacity of their respective Jobs. The real magic, however happens when they find themselves free to mingle with their customers (any day not just on Saturdays). They just visit and tell stories like they were just another customer. It is a wonderful way to learn about motorcycling for the newby or the veteran. The point here is... there does not seem to be any real salespeople at this this shop. I was never approached nor have I seen anyone else be greeted with a stiff May I help you find something today or a What are you looking for nope nothing like that just a smile and hi or hello. You might actually see them walk away and carry on with what they were doing if your response did not seem say 'stop and help me now'. You won t get attacked by a salesperson here. Everyone who works at BMW Ventura County is just a motorcycle lover nothing more. They know there stuff and seem to sell only by showing their excitement when 'you' decide to ask questions.

Came in today to buy a part and look at accessories. Had a chance to chat with the parts manager and the service manager, both were very friendly and knowledgeable and generous with their time. I'll post another review if and when I have service done on my BMW there.

Nice dealership with plenty of opfionsto choose from no matter what your riding style is. Dagan is the man, he knows everything about every bike they carry and loves talking about motorcycles. If you're in the market for a new bike you should definitely check them out!
