Crown City Automotive/ Penske Truck rentals is the best place to get a smoking deal for truck rentals! We fortunately had Ignacio as our go-to-guy when we rented a truck to go from LA to Maryland. He went above and beyond to meet our needs and was very attentive and cared about what we wanted. He followed up promptly and made sure we were good to go - matter fact, we were running late but he made sure somebody was there to release the truck to us. It was very critical that we have the truck that day back in February and he made sure to the point where he had somebody wait for us while I was late to pick up. Let's just say he pulled out all the stops and cut the red tape and gave us the green light to go! Thank you so much for all you did for us! The truck was worthy of the trip with no drama! Super thank you, you superstar!!

Very informative. Showed me exactly what was wrong before handling vehicle. Had an oil change done knowing I may need other repairs, I asked if they could take a look for me. They went over and beyond to take the time to show and explain everything to me. Great oil change prices. Will be back for repairs soon. Was kind enough to give me prices so I could come back to have the work done when I'm able to and made sure to identify what needs to be cared for more importantly first and the time sensitivity of the matter . Very grateful especially being a women going into a maintenance shop can be intimidating and some places aren't as informative or can be very misleading or even rushing you to get it done right now even if you can't afford it yet. So very thankful for this place and definitely recommend it. Will update after repairs get done. But I feel like there won't be any negative reviews here. Just more positivity I'm sure to add.

I have my oil change right here and the people are fast professional and they use quality oil in my vehicle I am very pleased with the level of service I received. This place is local where the old Kmart used to be. I believe we should all support local business because we're all in this together.

Went for an oil change that I purchased on Groupon was still charged 11 oil disposal fee.. and advised only ONE Groupon accepted per customer ever. But will honor price for next visit

This place is not very big but it does have good customer service. I had a groupon that was honored but of course, like most mechanic places you go to, I was recommended to get more things done. The mechanic didn't seem to charge me too much so overall the experience was pretty good. It also didn't take that long to have my car done, even with a few extra things I agreed to that were unexpected.

I went in with a Groupon for an oil change. They charged me an extra $7 (cash only) and told me I need hundreds of dollars of unnecessary work. They will try to upsell all sorts of things, in my case "collapsed ball joints" which is not a real thing, and several air filters.They're very nice in person and it's cheap for an oil change but be prepared for them to lie to you.

This place is awesome, Harry and his team of mechanics took care of my van and went the extra mile to show me what was wrong with my van. I had 4 engine codes. My van is running great I will definitely be returning to this auto shop if I need to in the future. I highly recommend this auto shop.Thank you Harry!!

I found them on Groupon. I saw a oil change coupon for $16. So I called in to verify if it applies on 0w20. They guy over the phone was rude. And wanted to tell me a story. Geez. I can not a anywhere more straight forward than this. Just answer if it applies yes or no straight answer. Sigh... thats why I call in before making the purchase. Need to be more professional.

Typical bait and switch scam. When driving up I thought there might be trouble when I saw it was located in a Kmart store.I had bought a Groupon for an oil change. They would not honor it. Said the car took more than 5 quarts. I said fine---put in 5 quarts, I'll fill it with the rest, which I had in my car. Nope.I had even called ahead. So wasted 1 1/2 hours of time driving there and back.The bad reviews you see are here for a reason. There are plenty of friendly, honest car repair places. This isn't one of them.

So we had a Groupon for a basic synthetic oil change around and went in around 1:30 PM on a Saturday. The attendant(or owner maybe) told us to cancel the Groupon and pay an additional fee in cash. When we hesitated he said the shop would close in 30 minutes and we needed to make a decision, the hours listed were that the shop was open until 4:00 PM so that was a fib. We decided to drive away and go to the Valvoline across the street.We always try to support smaller businesses, but this person was sketchy and I really suggest you look elsewhere.

Went because I had a Groupon for a smog check. First attempt to go, their smog machine was out of commission. Was told to come back later. Came back 2 weeks later. Smog check went fine but then the guy tried to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need, saying I needed my spark plugs, and like 4 other things replaced and he'd do it for a discount ... It would only be a few hundred dollars... But I'd just been to my (very reliable) mechanic the week before and everything was fine, so I knew I didn't actually need any of that stuff he was claiming needed replacement. I double checked with my real mechanic a week later just to be sure and he confirmed my car was fine.These guys give steep discounts to get you in the door but I wouldn't trust them to touch my car again.

Got an alignment here on my golf gti after struggling to find a place to fix my steering wheel that lead towards the left.The guys at the shop did an absolute perfect job. The car feels new and the align is on center. Definitely will be back for more work!Service: Wheel alignment

Crown City is MY garage. I don t possess a working knowledge of vehicular mechanics. Frankly I felt vulnerable when it came to auto repair because I know I d been ripped off before. Harry and the guys have repeatedly gone out of their way to save me money while always being as time conscience as possible. They are my dudes. I trust them.

Easy in, easy out. Time given for smog check was 45 minutes, but was done in 30. Price was quoted ($40) right up front, no surprises. Be sure to bring your renewal form, it has all the information they need.

They don t log their repairs on CARFAX and I believe the tech did the brake fluid replacement incorrectly and got air into my brake system, because after I replaced with new pads the car is hard to stop and pedal is spongy. The brakes are worst after they touched it! The manager get super crazy and aggressive after he smokes.Update: I asked him to check the brakes and he said there was nothing wrong with them. But when you have your brother, sister, and girlfriend test drive the car and they all say the brake pedal requires more effort than before to stop the car. There is probably something wrong. I would of been ok, but he asked me to sign something before he inspected the car and didn t give me a copy of it. Instead he typed a new invoice and asked me to sign it after the work was done, to get a copy of a different paper. Make sure you take a picture of every paper you are asked to sign, because he will type a new one and ask you to sign for something different, it s really shady.Below is what I think is wrong, the tech installed the brake pads wrong. You can see wear the pad touches the disk, it is uneven. I changed the fluid twice and the brakes are spongy halfway. Maybe it s missing brake hardware. What did he do wrong?This shop is not cooperate and the owner is here everyday. Basically if doesn t want to help you. You can t ask the person above him to help you out. Just watch out when he takes out his smokes!

I should have seen all these reviews before going into the trap! I was overbilled and manipulated for the things which are not required and u know what they charged unbelievable labor fee. Final word better to stay away from this trap! Save ur time and money folks.

My mother bought a Groupon for this place and it was a mess. Not only did they want to charge her more, but they didnt change the oil they just overfilled it, the oil was dirty and leaking in the driveway.

They stripped the screw to the oil bolt during the last oil change. It s been a hassle to get to say the least. Save your time+money and go to another shop.

Do not go here. They try to upsell and when they over filled my oil after using a groupon would not reset the check engine light.The guy who manages the place is a hot head.

This is my go to place fur an oil change. It's close to home so it's convenient and it's usually a quick and easy service. I honestly have never had any major work done here.

Theyre up front and offer good oil change. It's a full synthetic. Theyre friendly and helpful. I've been twice and will go back for my next oil change.

Do not recommend. They are very careless about your car. Spilled oil when they did a oil change and my car started smoking after I left. They did nothing to help when I went back.

No worked done today, I checked them out for future alignment, management and staff were helpful and nice.
