DISASTROUS EXPERIENCE at the temecula car wash off of rancho california road. Took my truck to the local car wash only to have my valve stems ripped out of the tires on the passenger side. After dropping off a newly bought truck to a employee for vacuuming, the employee drove it into the car wash without properly lining up the tires with the machine resulting in $395 in damages and tow fees. The manager is refusing to reimburse me for damages. I was towed to Pep Boys and I was in luck I was dealing with a great and professional employees named joe and a mechanic named jason because of these employees I will be returning to this Pep Boys location for future work on all of my vehicle maintenance, these dudes really saved my day and I was able to go to work the next day

I've been to Pep Boys a few times now, my most recent being a visit for an alignment. Basically, one of the wheels was angled in a way, when driving, it was a struggle to keep the car going straight rather than left. The company has a great price for lifetime alignments on your vehicle for $199.99, and with coupon, $169.99. Pays for itself in just two visits. The staff is always kind, courteous, and professional, even on the phone. Was so happy to have been serviced Jason too, I feel he did the best job I could hope for.

I take my work van and all my personal vehicles to be serviced by Pep Boys whether its an oil change, new brakes, or any other needed repairs, they always do their best in trying to provide top quality service! Some of these guys know me from all the time I'm there rotating different vehicles in for maintenance, and know that if I think there is an issue, I will let them know right away! Yet every time I speak with them, its as though I'm communicating with friends. All that to say, they are friendly, respectful, and do what they can to take good care of my (or your) vehicles (I believe), as though its their own! Thank you guys for keeping my vehicles in good working order!

They are very nice to work with. We had 2 vehicles that needed to be repaired after a different national chain didn't do a good job. They did not align the front properly and it wore out are brand new tires in short order. Pep Boys fixed all of the plus new tires in a short time and took my car in right away when I dropped it off. Good service.

This location is usually good at giving me a time frame of when my car would be ready. Not this time. I got there before 8 for my appointment and didn't get an update till almost 10. They told me 2 hours on repairs so I waited in the area instead of leaving. I watched as my car sat in the parking area, with the hood up, for over three hours. When I finally went up, 4 hours after the initial assessment, the service tech that was helping me from before was gone and a new service tech was in his place. When he looked into the situation, he had to call in for the necessary parts to come in, something that should have been done after the initial assessment. It didn't take long after that but that was 6 hours I don't have anymore. They weren't even as busy as I would expect so it's a real disappointment after having two good experiences with this Pep Boys.

Purchased my tires here because they had the best price. On top of that, the offer free rotation AND balance, plus multi point inspection at no charge. Really adding tons of value under the new model.

I called them at last minute on a Sunday to see if I could get my SUV in to get back to Laguna Beach from Temecula just before closing bcuz of a flat tire and didn't want to drive back on that. They took their time to get me in with great courtesy to get me back on the road much quicker than expected though they were quite busy. Very thankful for their help!

Why I will never trust Pep Boys again. I ve been going to Pep Boys since 1984. In 2020 when the Pandemic started, my transmission in my Chrysler minivan went out. I use this van for my DJ company so I NEED IT. I call Pep Boys. They said they can do it for $1,600 plus labor but I d have to wait on part. I said fine, I have no choice. I made an appointment. Something told me to call the Chrysler dealer ship. They said $5,000 including labor and that Pep Boys just called them to get these parts. Pep Boys marked the parts up big time. I called Pep Boys to let them know that I m canceling my appointment and that I would never come back there again. I have 4 vehicles. I go everywhere but Pep Boys

Sunday! about 11 am I was coming off the hill from Idyllwild, traffic was slow- and I got the low tire pressure light front passenger @ 24psi. I pulled over at the first light after we got to 3 lanes, and it was flat and side wall gashed, so my slime injector wasn't going to work (no spare for this model), I called my friends who immediately got ahold of Pep Boys and within an hour I was towed to the service location, both front tires had zero thread. and just so happened they had a two-for promo, so within 4 hours I was on the road with 4 new all weather 64k mile tires, They were efficient, pleasant and I was very lucky

This Temecula location decided to replace all four spark plugs on my car that were only 1-year old with 10,000 miles on them. It is standard to replace these plugs after 100,000 miles of use. This was an unethical and predatory practice by mechanic Michael De La Cruz and I am unable to get the assistant manager Joe, or the manager Rich, to make this right. Please avoid this place if you are worried about being taken advantage of. They will find ways to do unnecessary work to your car and charge you hundreds more than is right.

We have been taking three of our cars to Pep Boys for oil changes for at least 5 years now. I am sad to say that their service has changed. I can no longer trust their mechanics with our vehicles. My daughter took her car in last week for an oil change. My younger daughter who is 17 drove her car home, not noticing that the air filter was not put back into place. She drove the car all the way home with the air filter on the dashboard. The check engine light was also on. When my daughter who owns the vehicle noticed, she put the air filter back into place and took the car back Pep boys. At this point the check engine and traction control systems were sending alerts. Pep Boys told her that these issues were not their problem, and that they would charge her for a diagnostic service. It has been one full week, and so far the cautionary alerts are still on, and her charging system is failing. It is unfortunate that we will no longer be able to trust Pep Boys with our vehicles. The picture I included shows the air filter that was left out by Pep Boys.

Waist of time!. Show up at 9:45am for my 10am alignment appointment. At 11:45am they haven t touch the car. They guaranteed competition at 11:45am. Spoke with Manager he stated they have to do catch up on other cars. APPOINTMENT????? If you value your time this place will waists it. I walked out..Will NOT be back.

It was easy to schedule my appointment and select what I needed online. However, when I arrived, it was unclear where to check in as no one was present to greet new customers. Still, the ease of checking in and getting my car fixed were smooth. The waiting area was also clean.

This place gave me super scammy vibes. My car was having trouble turning on, I set an appointment due to seeing that they have free battery testing on their website. Showed up at my appointment time and one of the workers tells me it s likely the alternator and that it will be $100 for them to do a diagnostic and that I need to leave my car overnight. I left and went to AutoZone in the next plaza over and the people at AutoZone did a free test on my battery, alternator and starter. Turns out I just needed a new battery, and the people at AutoZone helped me pick one and even installed it for me too. The people at this Pepboys don t seem to know what they re doing and in the process gave off a super scammy vibe - I almost had to pay $100 and leave my car overnight when all they could ve done was tested my battery really quick. If you just need something simple done, Beware!

Policy for profits not people.We are from San Diego and this occurred on a Sunday. My girlfriend and I blew a tire while camping in Idyllwild. Her car requires a fairly uncommon tire size for replacement, so we started calling around to try and find a tire. This Pep boys had the tires, but only four. We explained our situation. They informed us that it is policy that they do not hold tires for people, and we should get there as soon as possible.We went as fast as we could on our donut down to Temecula with the hopes that this place had a tire. When we arrived, they informed us that they had sold the tires. While we were informed that this was a possibility, this policy is disgusting. We were left to try and drive down to San Diego on a donut, find another shop, or stay in Temecula an extra night and miss work on Monday.The only reason this is a two star review is because the staff was very apologetic and understanding. They were just following a garbage policy, and it is not really their fault. Talking to other tire shops, they all would hold tires for up to 12 hours. Pep boys just wants to sell the most the fastest. Not take care of their customers.There are other tire shops in the same parking lot. I would recommend those.

Had an appt for 10:00am. I was on time, told them oil change, tire rotations and check my air and cabinet filter. They didn't take my car until 11:30am. Looking at the guy he just change my oil filter left my car was doing other things. Never rotated my tires nor check both air filters, back up my car like it was ready. Went to the guy at the front named Joe told him the situation. They took my car then finished it. Now another nightmare came as Joe was to update my address since they had a wrong one well I don't know what he did but he put Eleanor. I told him that was not my name. He couldn't fix it had to rewrite my order my time time it was 1:30pm. 3 1/2 hours later. Now all this time I was watching the guy with my car and he never put the reminder stickie on my windshield. I had to complain again. I spoke to the guy who was working on my car and come to find out this was his first day and I was his first car he worked on and didn't know the procedure. Nobody was supervising him. Don't blame the guy. I blame management on this. I would NOT go to this place never again.

Horrible service. I had to get work done on vehicle. An oil change and front brake pads needed to be done. They guaranteed several times that It would take less than 4 hours to do both. It took them 4 hours to do JUST the oil change. Then they took all the tires off and recommended that I do the front brakes, which I already told them needed to be done, and get all 4 new tires. Then they wanted me to wait another 4 hours for them to do it. I told him no that I wasn't able to do it because of how long it took them to do just an oil change. Then they tried to scare me into getting it replaced right then and there by repeatedly saying that the brake pads were too low to drive off, and there was an extremely high chamge that the brakes wouldnt last any longer as if I didn't see before they started working on it how low the brake pads were. I was able to take it someplace else, and it was completely fine. I voiced to them how upset I was with their service. The guy was not happy and then he barely put the hub caps back on the front tire and passenger rear tire. Disgustingly Horrible service. If you're looking for quality, do not go to any Pepboys.

I recently needed four new tires and after much research and price checking with different companies Pep Boys had the best prices. I was able to make an appointment and had four new tires and an alignment done in two hours.

So a little over a year ago I purchased 4 tires. Just recently I changed my breaks and while doing so I realized that one of the tires was different. They only gave me 3 new tires and I paid for 4 plus had other work done. If you get work done here I suggest looking over it so you don't get ripped off like I did. I want my money back for that 4th tire but it probably won't happen even though I paid for it and it is mine.

I mostly go here for my oil changes. Decently priced, and there s always a coupon online for you to use. I ve never really had a problem with their services and most of the time they do a good job. The past time I went though, they put on my free inspection report that they suggest I replace my cabin air filter. I replaced it myself 2 months ago. Not sure if they were trying to upsell or what.

Take your money elsewhere. Bad customer service and horrible craftsmanship. Took my car here today for a basic tire job and left extremely disappointment.-Tires not mounted correctly to wheels.-Balance weights not glued properly.-Wheels scratched.-Paid for new valve stems that were never installed (money was refunded).-Tire sensors not reprogramed.-One tire low once I got home. Probably a slow leak.Everything that could possibly go wrong did. Should have looked up their Yelp review before deciding to take my business here.

Overall ok experience. Store was not ready for my scheduled appointment and had to change my order to a different tire since the website was inaccurate on inventory. No follow up was made prior to my appointment to let me know tire was not available. The mechanic rushed the job and did not put my spare tire back in its place and instead threw in trunk, mechanic seemed to have a bad attitude. Advisor was great however no follow up on inspection of tires or any other stuff they normally tell you at end of service. Felt like they butchered the quality of their service
