This is the only place I will recommend and they do all the work on my cars. Being a SoCal native of 52+ years I have done the circuit of poser speed shops, big mouth promises and junk work. I think Steve had the same when starting OC because this is as legit as it gets. The OC crew truly delivers a full service garage with (what I can only guess is) over 200 years of combined automotive specialization and customization, and that's no joke. This also is the only place I have ever dropped my ride off without an estimate or talking price, they don't just do it right, they do it fair. You won't find pricing that is more right on point for the work being done, much less being done by a team that has been doing it for decades. Do they stop there? Nope, they sell hot rods and some of the nicest classic cars I have seen in SoCal. If I didn't know I would be in their way and slow them down I would so man crush this place and be a fat old guy mascot. Alas the wife knows each visit there typically results in the next epic phase for our 65 Comet, or a call from Steve to come and get me so they can get back to work, LoL.So straight from the hip, I can't recommend this place enough and if you're tired of getting the runaround and getting hosed over by all of these cheap imitation jack holes running around all over SoCal then head to OC Rods and Customs. Once you go OCRC you won't go anywhere else.

Everyone at OC Rods and Customs are amazing, talented, and friendly. They have a can do attitude and take the time to make sure you re happy and understand the work that has been done. They are kind and make sure you feel cared for and let you know to reach back out to them or swing by for any reason or future help. I ve had my 79 Cadillac Eldorado for two years and have had many people look at issues I ve wanted to address with usually less than optimistic responses. Start to Finish OC Rods made me feel confident things could be resolved, quickly identified the issues, knew how to fix them and followed through. Now my cadi is driving better than I ever thought it would and I can t express how thrilled i am. I feel very lucky I decided to call and take my car to them and am happy I now have them for support with my classic car.

Fantastic Dealership! Dealt with Danny the entire time from start to finish. I called him to ask some general questions on a vehicle I was I interested in and he took the time to FaceTime me the exact car and show me the vehicle inside and out. I had never bought a vehicle sight unseen, always seen the vehicle directly and transported it home myself. Danny talked me through the process (that they do often). He wrote up a bill of sale and we finalized the purchase. Afterwards I informed him of the shipper I had coming for the vehicle and he even stayed late that day to assist on the pickup. Great communication throughout the entire process from texting and phone calls with his personal number. Can't reccomend these guys enough!

I was looking to lower my 69 nova after replacing the front suspension with stock parts but the car sat too high so I found OC Rods and Customs online and took it in. Steve was willing to cut the springs for me but also suggested coil overs to be able to set the ride height without any guess work so I went with that idea. The car sits nice now and now I can adjust the height at any time and adjust the ride comfort. I'm very happy. Thanks Steve. I'll definitely be back for more work.

Had my Wilwood m/c installed on my 74 F100 and couldn t be happier. Steve and Kelly and the whole crew were super knowledgeable and friendly. Work was amazing. Will definitely be back for other work.

This shop is amazing. I purchased a vehicle as a gift for my wife and they went above and beyond to make sure she was going to be blown away with it. Communication was great throughout the entire process. Can t thank you enough.

Hey everyone,I wanted to leave this review because there seems to be some mixed information coming in. I worked with Danny at OC Rods and Customs to purchase a 1972 Chevelle. Danny was great to work with we agreed on a price, and he gave me a face time tour of the car. I decided to also have Lemonsquad go check it out, and Danny was awesome about helping to coordinate the inspection. I am not sure if it was completely required, but it made me a little more comfortable. There was also a problem with the stereo as it would not turn on during the facetime video, Danny had his team look at it and got it working, they also cleaned up the wiring underneath the dash both at no charge. Danny was very communicative throughout the buying process. Once I sent over my wire he overnighted the title, I didn't have any issues registering the car in Georgia. I would highly recommend Danny at OC Rods and Customs, I had a great experience and the car is awesome!

Buying a classic car over the internet is a risky move. But, I couldn't be happier doing just that from OC Rods and Customs. Danny has been great to work with, doing some live FaceTime walk arounds of the shop, introducing me to Steve and sending me videos and pictures of the truck that I ended up purchasing. We agreed on some paintwork and installation of an accessory before it was shipped, and he was able to prioritize the work so it could get on a truck and get shipped out. He made sure that the truck was exactly what I was expecting and continues to check in to make sure we are happy with our purchase. Great experience from beginning to end!

After several months the vehicle was returned with the alternator upside down, fuel filter backwards, tie rod frozen, missing bolts in suspension, pitman arm bolt left almost off and water hose clamps only hand tight. Clearly no skilled labor and no oversight or QC. OC Rods of Temecula is wonderful and made me feel very relaxed bringing my 70 Chevelle in for repairs, Steve is very professional and a car guy like me. Some mechanics and builders are really knowledgeable, some are fairly priced, some communicate well, and some are real partners in your classic hot rod experience. Very rarely do you find all these qualities in one place. Such is the case with Steve and Kelly Brigandi at OC Rods Customs & Classics.
