I just want to say this is the best service I have received! From the time I step in the door they were help and friendly. They took great care of my car and made me feel like family. I will definitely be going back to them for all my auto needs and I will refer my family and friends to them as well!!

God sent this shop to me. Honestly, when everyone is out to rip you off, this is one shop that is honest and ethical. I was pulling out of a bank parking lot when the steering wheel if my car went into a free for all spinning 360 degrees and the tires did not move, it was scary. After an ordeal with the tow truck (it broke down after they put my car on the flatbed), I got my car here. They were amazing. My car was fixed before the end of my workday, and I was never happier. Thank you, Jason and Lauralynn. I've found my mechanic for life.

Service was top notch! My 4wd was not working J&L found an elec switch not working. Got it repaired in 1 day and back on the road.

Jason is an excellent honest and reliable mechanic that cares about his reputation and workmanship. I have a 2012 ford transit van and it was leaking quite a bit of fluid and i was also having problems with it slipping jason dug right into it and advised me what the problem was and fixed it quickly and it runs like it should now. Laralyn was so helpful and communicative as well this husband and wife team are honest and reliable dont take your car anywhere else but here they will take good care of you. This is where you take your car when you realize the dealership is a greedy overpriced vomitable example of corporate America. They shocked me with their quote, shocked me enough to start looking and I found J&L, I don't mind paying a fair price, this was very labor intensive and from the first quote Jason was a man of his word. He repaired my Cadillac and it actually runs as well as when I first bought it. I went from anxiety and shock to complete happiness and satisfaction. I found who will be working on my car from now on and I don't have to pay thousands for espresso machines and free car washes I prefer honesty, up front pricing and someone that truly knows what they are doing. Thank you Jason I feel so much better knowing I have someone dependable and honest working on my car.Service: Transmission

Took my tundra truck to Temecula Toyota they Said I needed a new transmission cost 8 to 9 thousand. Was referred by a friend to j and l fixed my truck like new for 900$. Celanoid was bad. These were great!!

Jason, the owner, is a great guy! He did everything he said he would and more! He diagnosed several problems with my gmc 2500hd diesel truck and handled them all, quickly and proficiently! This shop does much more than transmissions.....i would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for that go-to trustworthy resource who will give them great advice,, fix things the first time, deliver exactly as promised, on time. Jason and his shop are a real find in today's "retail" automotive repair environment. Jason was knowledgeable and professional in handling the repairs to my GMC Yukon. His diagnosis of problems was spot-on and repairs were completed on time. His pricing was beyond fair and I have a great warranty. Lauralyn was great in getting me a proper quote and getting parts asap. I highly recommend J & L Transmission! I can't recommend Jason's shop enough. I originally brought my truck to a different transmission shop and felt like i was about to be scammed. A friend recommended that i reach out to J & L and they were able to get me an appointment quickly. I told Jason what i thought my problem was and asked him to give my truck a good once over as i was about to move out of town to another state. Jason made my 19yr old truck run like a champ. He communicated what he found, his prices were ridiculously reasonable. The shop was just overall a great experience. If i still lived in Cali, this would be my go to.

Honest owned and doesn't price gouge like most places. I got two separate quotes for work to be done on my truck and took it to Jason and he told me he would price everything out and offer me different options on the parts that needed to be replaced if I wanted to save money in some areas or if I wanted to get higher end parts. He and his wife kept in constant communication with me throughout the process and did extra searching on things that didn't specifically have to do with my repair as well. I officially found my go to shop out here in Temecula for any work that needs to be done on my cars. If you're still unsure just give them a call and you'll see for yourself just how great they are.

J & L Trans and Auto Repair Shop replaced my alternator. After speaking with Jason, I felt I could trust him for price and services. My Honda works fine, now. He was recommended to me by a friend and I am happy I took my friend's advice. This is a family team that provides feedback and services in a hurry. I highly recommend their shop.

Outstanding service. Reasonable and very trustworthy, which is a hard combination to find. I highly recommend them. They did a lot of routine maintenance on my full size Chevrolet van. I was referred to Jason by 2 of my buddies who have been coming to him for service on their trucks. I needed my transmission rebuilt, but I needed to add some towing upgrades. Jason came in lower than quotes I received from other places, and he did not try to selling me some of the other items the other places were trying to get me on. We were having problems with the transmission on our 2015 Hyundai Elantra. We had our car towed to the local Hyundai dealer where we were charge $185.00 for them to tell us that we needed a new transmission.We where quoted an outrageous amount for parts and labor.Needless to say we were not happy. While looking for a mechanic on the internet, we came across J & L Trans and Auto Repair in Temecula. They had many excellent reviews and of course we now know why ....We decided to call J & L , we knew right away we made the right decision.This is a great family owned and operated business. 2012 Silverado 2500 work truck--195,000 miles on it. Jason & LauraLynn absolutely rock this family owned business. Jason has taken the time to discuss potential issues with various vehicles we have, talked about the best solutions. Jason talked me through a field repair on my linkage when we were camping with our trailer. As of 6 weeks ago, I have a new transmission; re-manufactured (new guts), and fully expect to easily see my truck eventually hit the 300,000 mile mark smoothly. I was referred out of town, by my local shop, to have Jason address my transmission issues. From the initial phone call to final pick up, we were treated like family and met with professional knowledge and care. Nobody wants to have mechanical issues- but it is unavoidable, so why not go to the best? Parts and labor even went over the quote I was given and Jason made certain to keep the final price under. It's hard to find fair, reliable and honest professional mechanics. J&L has earned my repeated business, even if I have to drive out of town to get it.Service: Transmission

I am so glad I finally found this place. Jason is very helpful and super honest and very reasonable. He won't try to sell you unnecessary services like other places do. Very high quality work and take pride in what they do, no question about it. If you want it done RIGHT, don't try to service the transmission yourself or waste your time and money at the dealer.I highly recommend this place to everyone.

I am beyond thankful to have found J&L! After being told by a dealership that my only option for my Jetta was a new transmission I thankfully found J&L (and I didn't need a new transmission!!) Jason was very helpful, knowledgeable and honest explaining everything to me! From my first phone call to them his wife was very sweet answering all my questions and helping me out! They got my car fixed as fast as they could and had great communication with me! I will recommend them to all my friends and take my cars there from now on! Thank you J&L for everything!!!!

J&L is awesome! My AC went out this summer and it was pure misery without it, Jason got it fixed so fast and used better parts. It blows ice cold now, better than before!They also fixed my brake system and parking brake, it was like trying to slow a locomotive before, now it s back to normal and then some!I ll definitely be bring my car back for any work needed!Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

I looked around for a long time. I called Jason and was extremely Surprised at how helpful and up front about everything. When I walked in and started to talk him. It felt like I was home and knew there would be a trust building experience with them. He was upfront about being busy, I gave him the time needed to take care of Dodge Ram transmission. I am extremely happy. Pricing was upfront and within the range we discussed. He delivered on his promise at doing everything he could to come in at the price. He exceeded my expectations on all accounts.When a man shakes your Hand and makes a deal. I am a firm believer that it is a deal. I am positive that in the future I will be shaking his hand a lot in the future. He is honest and family oriented. I recommend J&L to all. Be patient, when you find a company that is good at what they do word spreads fast. This is why he is busy. They are very good!RFred

I was having major car problems and needed someone immediately. I called a few other shops but all wanted me to make an appointment. I called Lauralyn at J&L and she told me to bring my car right in. Jason had my car up and running within just a few hours. I will recommend all my family and friends here. By far the best auto shop I have ever been to.
