Had a great time camping and soaking here. The bathhouse has a separate side for men and woman. Unfortunately there were a few creepy dudes in the men's side. One large fellow had some sort of metal contraption on his balls and weiner that seemed very inappropriate for a shared space. If you don't mind ignoring a few creepers then this place is for you. Will be back

I made a camping reservation but the site didn t work for me. The facilities are older. I did use the pools. The water was pleasant. The women s pools are closed daily from 2-4pm.I am adding this: I have chronic pain. I felt really good after being in that water! Pain free for hours. Will definitely return!

Have been coming for over twenty years. The waters are magical but this past time the water was not very clean. They used to empty and clean the tubs daily. Based off the amount of skin and hair that was floating in the pools during a recent morning visit. I would say that is no longer the case. Really disappointing.

Historic, clean, quaint Hot Springs Bathhouse with showers: male and female separate sides, (no clothes allowed in the water to preserve cleanliness.) Temperature runs 98-103F with constant flow. Bring your own water or buy some there because you will get thirsty! Mineral water rich in 103 elements your body will love. (Google it.) Campground (across the street) is sensibly designed for tents without hookup or electric hookup for RVs. Pleasant staff. Generally, Very Quiet. Locals and businesses maintain a low profile and a specifically Quiet community, undisturbed by incessant barking, radios, engines, etc. Often, acoustic music happens in Steaks & Beer restaurant and adjacent small outdoor stage. No cell service. Customers of many establishments can access limited wifi. Many unique overnight accomodations to choose from. Amazing value! Especially for rare Peace and Quiet!

We went on February 1, 2019.My shoulder pain went away in the hot spring pool. It's been 5 days that we went and I feel great. The water felt so silky and warm at 104f. You can use the hot springs pools, it's included when you pay the campground fee. You have to go in nude. Kids 10 + only. There is the female pools on the left building. The men side is on the right building. Paint is chipping off in some areas but it's no big deal to me. For 10-- an hour, you can rent a private little hot spring pool that fits 8. Bring your own towels and flip-flops.We enjoyed the campgrounds here. They have grills, restrooms & a big sink to wash your dishes at. We slept in our tent and had no issues. The stars look so majestically beautiful at night. Our dog came along too because pets are welcome.Next time I go, I'm taking all kinds of fruit seeds to plant next to the stream. Why are they not planting fruit trees like apples, oranges, tangerines, limons, limes, guava, raspberries, blackberries, grapefruit, papaya, mangos, bananas, pears, pomegranate, peaches, nectarines, apricots, almonds, walnuts, avocados, dates, coconuts & pineapples?

The benefits of hot springs for health are endless, and the staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable. They do a very good job keeping it clean. They drain and scrub the tubs every night and make sure to keep it pure. Warning, it is nude only and sperated by men's and women's. However if you feel more comfortable or wish go be with the opposite, there is a private bath that is lovely for only $25 an hour. Not to mention hot showers and bathrooms! Definitely worth while.

Five stars for the price. Nothing fancy, but check-in was friendly and fast with the camp host. The motel room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The private baths were occupied the first time I tried, but became available quickly. The water is crystal clear and made my skin feel amazing. The bath facilities are by no means brand new, but they are clean and freshly painted.

Perfectly rustic. I feel as if I'm in a different country. It's a cool December yet with all the hiking places in the 5 days we've been here we've consumed 5 gals of drinking water between us 2 and our 20# puppie.Hook up to their wifi (5$ for 12 hours) and use Google maps to see the marked water kiosk a few miles away.

I camped so I can't rate the room. Check the power boxes before you set up, lots of broken equipment. I love this place to escape the city. No cell service. Everything is dusty and there are bugs. The bath house was recently refreshed with new paint and repairs. The water is hot and relaxing. The camp area needs repairs. There are picnic tables and some random fire pits. Enjoy the music ov the weekends. Check out thes local brews and food. It's not classy or glamorous out here. Full tank of gas, paper maps, extra water, sense of adventure... relax and enjoy.

Absolutely Beautiful place to go however it is not a safe place to stay if you are traveling alone. I was verbally threatened by one of the employees that works there. When I spoke with management it felt like because He was a family friend it didn't matter that I didn't feel safe. Outside of this incident I had a wonderful stay. However treatment of paying customers needs vast improvement!!!!

So I called them and spoke to Mike on 9/26/20. He was super friendly over the phone and gave me pricing and took my reservation for private couples hot spring room for 9/27/20. My friend and I had been there several times before, but never met or encountered Mike. When we met Mike in person he was awful. Extremely forceful about wearing masks even though we both had a medical condition and waivers. Dismissed our medical conditions and Even tried to force us to wear masks while we were at least 10 feet away from his office by saying that The masks work better when they re on. I told him I was nowhere near him or inside his building yet so I did not need to wear one. I actually came with a face shield and he said it was unacceptable. And then he argued with me about the pricing that he did tell me over the phone that the private room was $30. In my recollection all I recall was that he said it s $9 per person. He said the prices went up because they have to use a lot more chemicals to clean the Hot Springs. But to be honest since my friend and I had been there several times before the facility now seemed delapated and dirty. And the price wasn t a concern ....it s that he was condescending and adamant that he told me pricing of private room over the phone and then when I told him that I remembered speaking to him about directions he condescendingly said see you did talk to me I did tell you the pricing. He was just a jerk. My other friends met up with us at the Date farm and ended up going to Delights hot springs instead . None of us will ever go to this facility again. Pleasantness is part of Customer Service that goes a long way especially when Covid has impacted a lot of businesses and they need more clients.

Men and women bathe seperate. No swimming suits allowed, there is no sign stating this but the multitude of naked women informed me this is the case. The toxins from the suit's material and detergents are destructive and the water goes directly to a wetland so washing before hand is a must as well. The water was clean (thanks to everyone bathing first;) no sulfur smell just hot mineral water. It was very refreshing. The clerks were very friendly with lots of advice on directions and hiking trails.

Natural selenium hot springs (no off-putting sulphuric smell!). Men's and women's springs are separate enclosures. Very clean, not many people, inexpensive, good shower pressure. Aging facility, but that's part of the charm.

Best hot springs which I have ever visited. Great springs water, peaceful and calm campground places, lots of stars in the sky, 24 hrs open for hot springs and lot of attractions near here.Point is that pollution-free wild area which one is not developed under natural conditions.

We only stopped for one night. Go in expecting to be staying in the desert type environment, with no drinking water. Electric hook up is great. Staff were friendly. Hotspring pools were fine. Water was hot. Weather was hot.

I've been going to Tecopa for over 12 years off and on, since I was in my late 20s. It's truly a GEM in the desert, I love it. When I first checked it out it was free, (ran by CLM: California Land Management) hardly anyone there and a little rough around the edges. Years later, it was managed by another outfit that left the property in shambles and it would have closed down by the county if Ryan & Lara hadn't stepped in. They are longtime residents of the area and invested a ton of time, money and love into the pools, bathhouses, campground, restaurant/Bistro and more. That was about 3 or so years ago and it really shows. The pools have always been clean, no smells, and most importantly...hot & healing!! A little background for myself first before I go on: I've been to over 2 dozen hot springs... from rustic to remote to luxury to nasty to amazing, I own several hot springs guides, I'm a professional bodyworker of 18+ years, and I go to hot springs for the amazing healing properties, interesting (and yes sometimes weird and unwelcome) people, not to mention that the best hot water tends to be in out of the way places you have to "work" for. The Tecopa water is reallllly good...I'm in bliss as my muscles relax and unwind in just a few minutes, there is something special about this place for sure!! I also love that the "cool pool" is available and perfect when you are done soaking in the hot hot pool. The nudity doesn't bother me, but I can see how some guys might be uncomfortable. My advice: get over it, try something different, it's not that big of a deal. Sure I've had other guys gawking at me but I've never felt uncomfortable, it's like a locker room situation, we all have the same parts...it's a sign of maturity and self confidence to drop your guard and focus on allowing your body/mind to melt into one...yes that probably sounds hookey but believe me the experience is awesome..just like the hot water. I've seen the employees clean drain & scrub da tubs in the morning, so yes they are plenty clean. The paint is a different story, it's chipping in places but that does not take away from the overall. The new manager has done the following improvements: updated the showers (seriously, they are worth the price of admission...super strong, nice and warm and it's "source" water...same water they use in the pools), installed new handrails, new pumps, new mats, front kiosk, artwork, music stage for traveling artists to perform on some weekends and for they're annual Tecopa Takeover Festival, cleaned up the campground, general store with great selection of goods...and more.Cheers to the staff, they have put in a ton of love and hard work into this place. In fact, we are going there for a few days tomorrow morning!! Can't wait!!

Great spot for camping (tent or RV) overlooking the dry lake in Tecopa.Friendly staff, shared pools separated buildings for male and females.Only spot in Tecopa with both Hot and Warm pools, so if you cant handle the heat this is the best option. Also one private pool available at an hourly rate but no shower in the room.Open 24/7/365General store available onsite in case you forgot any sundries or want a snack.Located in the center of this one horse town - easy walking distance to any of the local services.

Seemed like an ok place to park for a couple days. Charging extra for WiFi that only works when it wants to? Not very cool. Didn't bother using the hot springs because #1 - there were none that were "wife/husband friendly"...and #2 it seems kinda gay to me to sit with a bunch of naked dudes. You'd think they'd keep one tub open for men/women even if it's for only a couple hours in the middle of the night so campers can enjoy with their spouse, but nope. Other than that, not a whole lot to do in the area. Little bars and restaurants were cool to see, but unless you like paying double for everything compared to elsewhere you won't actually eat at any. But one place had live music that we could hear from the campground which was cool.
