Great shop if you are looking for the Volvo repair. I brought my 2018 XC90 Volvo here for 40K miles service. Completed everything on time as promised and reset the computer. Also washed the car as the Volvo dealers do, but everything is for about 30% less. Strongly recommended.

Brought my XC40 here for standard oil change. No frills. Freddy was able to get it done when he said he would. Straightforward pricing. Less expensive of course than bringing it to the dealer.

Great Volvo repair shop! Freddy really knows his stuff. He does good work and he's pretty creative about finding solutions that aren't so pricey. Also like it when a mechanic actually shows you what was screwed up with the part that wasn't working. Thanks for the great service Freddy. And for taking it easy on my wallet!

I've been bringing my 2004 Volvo XC90 to Freddy for 5 years. He does great work fast, never upsells, always friendly, helpful and above all, affordable. Went in for a check engine light.(Backstory: Drove down from Washington state and the CEL came on mid-journey. I stopped at a parts store and they scanned the car and told me I needed an O2 sensor.)I call Action Volvo, they tell me to bring in the car whenever. I drop it off first thing Monday morning. I tell them what I was told at the parts store. He didn't seem very happy that I already knew what the code was for (I didnt mind paying for a diag fee FYI) After not hearing anything all day, I called and was told to come get my car now because the light wouldn't go off after the repair. When I went to pick up the car, a very young guy (teenager-aged) told me they replaced the part (a $240 part) and it didn't fix it. He brought the car out and said there was an electrical issue. I was confused because they didn't ask me to pay, even after I brought it up. They wasted no time trying to get me out of their lot and gone.I just took my Volvo to another spot and you'll never guess, there was no repair done on the car at Action and there also wasn't an electrical issue.I wouldn't recommend this place based off the curt, very unhelpful experience I had.

Took my Volvo to multiple mechanics - but Freddy was honest, straightforward, and performed excellent work. Very knowledgeable about all things Volvo, and more than fair with his pricing. Action Volvo saved the day! I was on a road trip from Washington State needing to make it all the way safely home. Friday night my Volvo decided it didn't want to start right. I called Freddy at Action Volvo on Sat morning not knowing they were closed. Freddy decided to help me anyhow and within an hour not only fixed the problem with my car but addressed other problems my car had as well! I was treated and felt like I had been a life long customer and family on my first visit. Very fair price as well. Freddy was a blessing from God!

Not the same, new ownership from the past owner a few years ago. Had my AC fixed along with an oil change and new rotors. They destroyed the plug for the oil pan in my Audi and cost me $1600 to replace elsewhere. They also wouldn t tell me what was wrong with the AC but charged me $600 and kept ignoring the question of what was wrong. The rotors started squeaking a month after and could have been swapped for cheaper parts or something similar. The worst was the drain plug destroyed, my other mechanic said it s a cheap job from an unprofessional repair shop to have done that. If you have a Volvo and are looking for a great mechanic then come to Action Volvo. They figured out what was wrong with my car immediately. I never felt like they were trying to pull one over on me and they explained things to me. I was a needy customer and they always helped me. Freddie and Januscz are great. Don't let the lack of reviews deter you from going here.

I took a 1993 Volvo 940 to this guy. The car has had lots of work done on it (before taking to this guy), tried everything before from Mass air flow sensors to new oxygen sensors and more.He says, mass air flow sensor doesn't work. I politely go "ok, how do you know it doesn't work?" He wouldn't answer me: kept saying, "who is the mechanic here? You or me?"I'm just asking how he knows MAF doesn't work, like if he used a machine or analyzer or the OBD system to figure it out. Instead he says "I don't want to talk to you". I try showing him the repair history. He says, go buy another car (meaning he didn't even want to try to fix it).Seriously? No transparency. No integrity. Asks for the impossible.

I look for the signs of good customer service. I have found Action Volvo to provide Great Automotive care in the services provided. This mom and pop shop stays busy with a multitude of happy customers. They have serviced my Mercedes and my Volvo wagon. The guy at the shop is an unbearable man.The lady there looks miserable, very unfriendly as well.I only got an inspection I did not do work because he is a very rude, not respectful, nasty man.There are many shops too bad for him!Service: General repairs & maintenance
