The rims took a few extra weeks due to the holidays but it was WORTH IT. I called a few times and drove them crazy but they always reassured me and let me know what was going on. At one point they had to redo one rim that wasn t perfect. That s what these guys are about: an excellent quality product. Old school style. My rims look amazing and can withstand Oakland roads. Horrible customer service.Wheels had road rash/gouges on interior of wheels. Wheel cracked at rash mark and they refused any responsibility.Chrome wheels not properly chromed (tight areas aren't polished)Chrome lug nuts started rusting after 2 months. Once again refused to refund/return inferior product.Do not buy from this business.**EDIT**HA!!! perfect condition you can see the chomed over road rash. They came that way and cracked right at the area where the damage was. And once again they're completely ignoring the rusted lug nuts after only 2 months. Horrible customer service/reliability.

I purchased a set of OEM chrome wheels for my G37 Coupe. That was now over a month ago. Never got a receipt. Never get email replies. Never get call backs from messages left. Credit card was charged on 11/16, bill now paid. I have been able to speak to someone a couple of times, where I asked where we were in the process, and asked for a receipt. They always say they will call back with info or get me a receipt, but nothing. The wheels were to be shipped to my local Discount Tire Store, but they have not received them as of this AM.Next step, contact the credit card company and have the charge reversed.UPDATE: I did receive my wheels and they were perfect and the manager also contacted me, apologized and said they could have communicated better. All is good now!

I brought my tires and rims in to Steve at LA Wheel and Tire two weeks ago. It was a rainy day later in the afternoon and they were going to be closing up shop shortly due to the rain. Steve told me to bring them in anyways and that he would wait. I was coming from Corona so it would be an hour and he was still nice enough to standby. When I arrived they took my wheels right in and I went over everything with him. Steve is a great guy and we talked cars for a bit and he let me know the wheels would be good to go in two weeks (worth the wait he said). Sure enough, right before the two week mark I got the call they were ready for pickup. I arrived a little early and Fabian was able to run my card for the bill of sale and helped met get the tires over to my truck for pickup (even before they officially opened). Everyone I met, and talked with at LA Wheel and Tires was extremely helpful and personable. You can tell they take pride in their product and want to make their customers happy. The pictures can't do the wheels enough justice. The triple chrome is absolutely stunning (and a five-year warranty to boot!). Steve and his crew did me a solid and re-mounted the tires and TPMS at no additional charge so all I had to do was put them on the Z when I made it home; she sure looks great now. I had also purchased the chrome plated lug nuts to match the wheels (they have every accessory you could possibly need to make everything match perfect). Everything looks amazing and I couldn't have been happier. Thank you Steve and everyone at LA Tire! I will definitely recommend your business to friends and family. I look forward to returning to LA Wheel and Tire for all of my future chroming needs.

I purchased four chrome exchange wheels for my 2008 Corvette from LA Wheel and Tire. The wheels were gorgeous, communication was excellent, and the refund for my exchange wheels was handled perfectly. I highly recommend this vendor.

*******SECOND UPDATE******4/25/2023NEW RATING -2I have made over 500 reviews, I am a level 5 Google contributor, and have been doing so for several years now. Never have I had my character attacked by a business as this one has. They state they did not say "24 hour turn around" perhaps when they said "tomorrow" they didn't realize that's 24 hours away? I did stop in the day after I dropped off the wheel which is when I was told that it would be repaired "tomorrow" (that's 24 hours guys). My review stated I called (please reread). I did not mention the quality of the repair, not at all, however now that you brought it up the repair is obvious, and scratched.I am many things, but I am not a liar. What kind of professional would say such a thing to a customer? You should have asked how you could improve or make the situation right. How the damage occurred is not your concern, you saved me nothing we had a business transaction, I pay you for service, you deliver service as you state (your word is worthless otherwise). Placing your hand out without so much as a greeting is not a request for red carpet treatment, it's common decent courtesy. That's exactly what happened. You misrepresent the truth, and me.Everything I have stated is true. Perhaps you would explain how you felt you had the right to call me, become argumentative about my review? Your response is petty and unprofessional, you should learn from these reviews I am not the only review that thinks your customer service is at best lacking. Read the previous two reviews.I would like to introduce you to the word "libel". Feel free to look it up.******UPDATE******4/25/2023This shop called me to complain about my review. I told them it stands as it is. They began to back track their promises. I hung up. THEY CALLED BACK! Who does that?Removed a star. Nobody should have to deal with this. GO ELSEWHERE.There are too many wheel shops in the area at comparable prices to tolerate this place. Unprofessional, degrading, snooty, broken promises. I was assured a 24Hr turn around on a repair. 24Hrs later, no call came, I called... Need another day, which was a Friday, no call. Closed on the weekend. Monday, I called midday... "Oh I couldn't find your number..." Really!? Not that it was their business but I had an alignment appointment, for Friday, and more work scheduled after that elsewhere. When I showed up nobody was in the office, I shouted "Hello" a few times several minutes later somebody showed up, no greeting, just his hand out. Yeah, too many other shops around to be treated so poorly. Go elsewhere.

Excellent experience. Ordering factory wheels with winter chrome was done with a phone call and then they brought me right in at the appointment time and put on a beautiful set of wheels within an hour. I drove off and have had no issues with balance, alignment or appearance. I highly recommend them.

I have done 4 different wheel set exchanges with L.A. Wheel over the past 15 years and they have all gone without a single hitch. I live in Phoenix so they were all done via shipment sight unseen. Each time I worked with Robert and he did an excellent job getting me flawless chrome sets. It was nice being able to deal with the same person on each occasion which is somewhat unusual in today's world. I would highly recommend their services.

I couldn't be more satisfied with the quality of the chromed vintage Mercedes wheels from LA Wheel and Tire. I ordered them online and had them shipped cross country - they were beautifully packed and arrived perfect in every way.Highly recommended, and I'd buy from them again w/o hesitation.

Great Service!They are always very careful working around my cars, and handling the Custom Rims when taking them off and on. I bring them all my new tires to installed and balance. The Balancing Machines that they use & operate have given me the best balance on my custom rims which are very hard to balance 19in 22in 24inAlso what is very rare or never done at other tire and wheel shops,they wipe down my wheels & tires so it doesn't look like I just had tires installed, pretty nice touch I think.Price is more than fair for this kind of ServiceThanks Adrian

I did the wheel exchange for my wife's new RX350 Lexus a few yrs ago & the quality & chrome appearance are still like new. It's still original Lexus wheels but improves the looks dramatically over the standard dull gray aluminum. The price was reasonable & the exchange process was no problem. I definitely recommend this supplier with a 5 star rating.

Always a personal and professional touch when dealing with these guys. I've been coming to them for the past 5 or 6 years.Hands down my go-to and trusted wheel guys whether I'm sourcing replacement wheels, need wheel refinishing and retouching to factory new standards, or simply help with mounting, dismounting and balancing of expensive aftermarket wheels.Always quick, personable, and willing to go the extra mile.

I love my wheels. They are period correct. I bought a 1995 Cadillac STS and restored it. Get lots of compliments. I searched everywhere for my rims but could not find them until I computer searched you, LA Wheels. Thank you very much. It was very easy working with you. No problems.

I bought four rims on eBay, after 2 days of almost no communication I decide to call to find out what's going on. They tell me that the wheels are 3 weeks out, eBay listing doesn't say nothing about that. Very unprofessional company.

I wanted OEM rims Chromed for my 2012 Genesis. Dealer wanted over $800 for the set. L.A. Wheel is the place that does it and they accomadated me cheaper and supplied free shipping to my house. They sent me rims that were already chromed, and for $1,000 deposit, gave me 2 weeks to ship my old rims back. Their rims showed up WAY ahead of schedual and looked great!. I had them on the car by nightfall. I shipped my old rims back and received my deposit in about 7-10 days.I'm very pleased with the quality of the rims, and was impressed with the communication on the phone and via e-mails. I would definitly recomment L.A. Wheels for your chroming needs. I am one very happy customer! 1/28/13

I wanted original OEM style chrome rims for my VW Phaeton which are very difficult to find. It took a while to get them but good things are always waiting for. They shipped in perfect condition and were put on the car with new lugs and tires. They are pristine and gorgeous. I recommend L.A Wheel and Tire highly.

I would not recommend doing business with LA Wheel and Tire. When I placed my order online they said the wheels were in stock and they charged my paypal account immediately. After numerous calls over a three week period, and promises that my wheels would be shipped in a couple of days, my wheels were finally shipped. I had my cores back to them within 4 days. It took another 3 weeks and 3 calls to Steve before I finally got a partial credit due to their explanation that a couple of my wheels had "flat spots" on the backside. This was complete BS as I had the wheels completely checked on a spin balancer before I returned them. Steve also promised me on three different occasions to send me 4 chrome lug bolts as I did not want to use the wheel locks that I purchased with the wheels. I still have not received the lug bolts. These guys will frustrate you, lie to you and rip you off.

Ordered wheels on eBay, confirmed through email prior to purchasing thatwheels would be delivered in 3 weeks. I have corresponded twice after 3 weeks and was told each time it would be the next week. It has been 6 weeks today and I still do not have the wheels that I was promised and paid for on 15 Dec 2016. They have not responded to any of my correspondence since 10 Jan 17. The telephone was not answered when I called and the voice message is full. 3 weeks lined up for when my wifes vehicle came out of paint but the only surprise was that the wheels were a now show and 6 weeks later, I still don't have the wheels.

They did a great job in everything they did. 1st they sent me the set of chrome wheels I ordered, then I sent my perfect (curb rash or any other scrapes on them) back to them. You just have to follow their instructions properly indicating that you are just paying for a chrome job and if they have to put more labor into them, to get them ready for chroming, then you have to pay extra for that labor because of the scraped up or bent rims that you are trying to pass off as ready for chrome. They provide you with everything the auction was for and in a very timely manner. I will definitely use them again for any chroming needs I may have. Thanks guys!-Britt.

I ordered a rim form L.A. Wheel and Tire and they delivered as expected without issue. It was a swap where they mailed me a chrome rim for my CTS-V and I returned the alloy I was using as a spare. They even shipped direct to the garage where I was doing the swap. Painless.

Ordered chrome wheels for my Acura MDX with exchange. Worked wonderfully - easy swap out - wheels were super - look great with no problems. Would highly recommend LA wheel.
